This user has no posts - About xda-developers.com

In the XDA app, I no longer can see my previous posts under my profile. It just says this user has no posts. Started about 5 days ago. Makes it very hard to follow up with people when trying to help them.

A load of people are having this same problem so it's already been mentioned to the higher-ups.
The best way to keep up with threads you post in, is to subscribe to them once you've posted in them. That way, you can just go to the subscribed section and see them all there, plus you can simply unsubscribe from them once you don't need the thread anymore.

XDA website notifications?

Is there a option on website to let you know if you have notification for example a reply to a thread
Unfortunately, there's not. The only way to do it, is to subscribe to threads that you comment on. That way, it will show up on the Subscribed tab. Plus, once you have no need for the thread anymore, you can simply un-subscribe from it.
Oh and by the way, this thread should've been posted in the "About xda-developers.com" forum to be honest.

XDA app acting weird

As the title says. My xD app is oddly starting to die. I've defied reinstalling it but at first it says I have no posts or topics. When my topic count and post count are over 5 and 70 or somewhere around there and now under the "latest" section it says there are no posts under all, unread, and whatever the third one is. Wtf is happening?

It's because of maintenance and a search would have revealed the answer.

What are you talking about? Threads or forums?
Threads / sub forums will be subscribed at server end.. so no need.. it will appear in fav tab even in new device or fresh install..
If you mean main device forum.. then no.. they are not subscribed at server end afaik.. so it won't appear.. you have to subscribe again..

Understood.
I subscribed main device on my old phone

Looks like it's been deleted.
Forum search engine points to the same error message when looking for No7102 missing thread.
And I posted a few messages in that thread... my post count has been decreased since it disappeared ...

WTF, my question also? Why would it get deleted? Mods - explain!
I thought maybe a new N7102 group got started, but don't see it.

It was deleted in error. In future can you report things like this via PM to moderators please as we (Samsung International Phone's Moderation Team) have only 4 active members to cover the hole of none US Samsung phones so we don't tend to browse specific forums for questions aimed at moderators.
Also I do not particularly like the tone of some of the posts here, it comes across very demanding like "Mods, you explain this NAOOO!!!". I think you'll find one of the forum rules is never post in a demanding self-entitled manner.
Lastly, questions go in the Q&A forum.

Thats kind of mean... even if he does refuse to listen to instructions to post in the q & a thread he is just trying to get help. No reason for you to say that.

How can u say that when u can see all his posts containing "deleted blah blah" all over the general section? Every thread he opened told him to ask in Q&A thread and clearly he doesn't give a **** about rules.
There mate, and please next time use the Q and A.

Well he is new after all. Might take a while to get used to the forum and its rules, he may just be unfamiliar. Besides, he has only created about 6 threads so far, which really isnt that much.

As for you just post your question here next time. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000417 . If you have trouble searching for it in the moble app its the "stickies" tab. I wont always be able to vouch for your "noob"ness(to the forum) in future.

Well when I was new here, I never did this. I always tried to find a way to fix my problems on my own and if nothing turns up, i look for help.
My guess is this guy did not watch the noob video XDA wants him to watch so he learns the BASIC rules. The General Section CLEARLY has a stickied thread for ALL questions yet he seems to act like it does not exist. In all of my time here in XDA I have NEVER created thread just for this purpose.

I see.. but its no use arguing over such a trivial matter. Well lets see if he learns after this round, which i hope he does. If he doesnt, im afraid i would have to take back my words then, haha
I hope i havent offended any of you guys in one way or another in, dr01ne, xxmyselfxx, mo22i. I never would have intended it that way. just want to say that these new users may need some scolding or reminding for the rules to sink in, and that there isnt any need for all the "hope you get banned" stuff. Besides not everyone might be as resourceful as you
Well I hope he learns his lesson. If this keeps up, I will be forced to take action and inform the forum moderators for this matter. A temporary suspension (is such exists) or a permanent ban/deactivation are my courses of action. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior, to me it is insulting and also irritating to keep seeing threads like these all around the forums.
