I want to install a custom rom.. but i have no idea abt doing so..
I hav rooted my phone.
Can anybody tell which ROM will work best for my Samsung GT-S5830 Android 2.3.4 XXKPH and best procedure for installing too??
Thanx in advance...
I think FirstUA or CodeROM will be the best choice. Choose any of the two.

You can find the procedure in the roms thread itself.

I think behrad rom is a really god rom, very smooth and fast. The problem is that (at least for me) Can't go back to the old market, and titanium backup doesnt restore.
So if you don't mind of that, install it Otherwise, coderom v2x-2b.

There you can find them
try the BLACKHAWK ROM of Ketut Kumajaya....i think this is better than the coderom v2x-2b

We need "Iron Fist" Here now!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=1167
Dont post such thing here.. Comparing ROMs and saying this ROM better than others.. We do compare in term of smoothness ,perfomance or battery etc, but we never said which ROM is better or the best.. Let ppl try it..
me too the link is not working i tried all my browsers ???!!! any solution
I'm using fla.sh X2 on top of XXKPH, and so far, so good. Have yet meet an error; no SoD's (yet), everything working as it should be, etc, etc.
I've tried GingerReal and coderom, they're both excellent, but my preference is to fla.sh X2.

Well its okay
well its actually cooked in the kitchen so very minimal customization and I can't even say if its good or not
I want change things like app icons, status bar etc
"Cocked" in the kitchen. Very funny. Haha okay, I'm sorry. Moving on.
Why not make a rom for your own device so you can test it yourself?

Kernal version 2.6.35.13-g03546aa. sofrware number 4.08.605.2. and i could not find that file which can make it full Arabic or even read & write Arabic. so i need that file badly i mean that file which can make my cellphone fully Arabic..
my best regards.... thank u all
i found these two files in the mediafire but thy were deleted by the mediafire ..
the files are
Inc_arabic_4.08.605_(1)_stock.zip
and
Inc_arabic_4.08.605_(2)_plus.zip
what a bad luck i've got.. also this rom is not stable i have many force closes msg's and many reboots at the same time :'( plz guys could u gave me another rom. which is very stabled with Arabic zip file ??..................................

I can try to assist tonight possibly. Have you looked into cm7? It is a very flexible rom. Not an expert on Arabic but it may have that language supported.

thx dude.. ya i have samsung galaxy s with CM9 supports Arabic as well.. so if it will support the Arabic in my HTC incredible could u plz gave its downloading like..
thx a lot my friend ^__^
Try this. Make sure to download gapps for gingrrbread and flash after rom.
http://get.cm/?device=inc
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
y i should do that?? and how??
cant i just go to install zip from sdcard??
Here's the link to gapps:
http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
Good news is that Arabic language support has existed since CM 6 so you're good to go.
To flash you can go to install zip from sdcard in recovery but flash the latest released file in the first link I gave you and then the gapps file in this post.
First though you need to wipe data/factory reset option in the main menu as a minimum prior to installing the ROM. Let me know if you have any questions. Sorry I'm short on time but I wanted to respond when I had a moment.
thx sir.. it is amazing. i did what u said and i can realize that rom is perfect fast, Arabic, stable, and awesome...

Hi, i have an Xperia LT15i and i'd like to know what is the best custom rom around here for my device. I see this one here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786871 , it is stable?? If i install this rom, i have to install anything else(tweeks,root,etc..)??
My device have the bootloader unlocked.
One more question, how do i install permanently the CWM to enter in the recovery boot menu?
Sorry about the questions, its a noob talking here , and sorry about my english...

i agree with u but i love Jellybean ( original , not combo between Jelly and ICS).
Any ROM with Paranoid settings which allow you to set dpi for single apps is awesome. I have compiled paranoid android 2.55 and put link in thread in dev section of you wanna try. Camps is also pretty awesome but my phone got really sluggish with that so I use regular PA.

If You are looking for GB based Roms then X-Gamer v1.6, this will give you an Internal Mem of 355MB, and RAM of nearly 240MB after installation and its stable too. If ICS based Roms then JelleySandwich 7.4. its stable (by stable i mean after installation everything works).
The above Roms i have tested it on LT15i with LB though.
new rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2168609
that new one is beautiful:good:
Cm10 based ROM: RacingBean v3.0 ! Very very Fast and stable ! :good:
We're not allowed to ask this kind of questions. Every rom is good. But it depends on ones needings.
Gb rom is always preferred if u want smoothness.
For interface you must try ics or jb..
Press thanks if I helped.

I just tried using SmartXperia ROM with KTG Kernel on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748635&highlight=keyboard
Some said it was the most battery efficient ROM, but I tried it because of it's simple instruction and low risk
So far its working fine on my LT15 xperia with minor bugs

Its all about preference use GB rom if you want everything working. Use doomkernel for GB roms its more stable and reliable.
Don't forget you need to unlock your bootloader to flash a kernel

When you want to use a gingerbread Rom use the lupus kernel. This kernel is newer, so it is more stable and you have a better performance.
