Anyone know why when listening to music through blue tooth in the car and you make a call the song starts over. This does not happen when you take a call. It pauses which is great. The lte does not pause the song either. However the original evo did and I loved that feature especially when I am on a long drive listening to a 60 min set.
each music player handles things differently, so try using something else like jetaudio, Google play music, double twist, etc

Hi all,
I wonder if there is any program that plays a music or sound file while I am talking on the phone (talk with background music)?
Thanks!
Any 3rd party music player (eg. Poweramp) will do it..

Thanks. I think this does not work for me, since:
this program or other music players play music and when I am on the phone, the mic will pic up the music coming from the speaker+my voice. So in a crowded ambient, the mic might not be able to pic up the music properly or it might simply pause the music.
Is there any program that play the music internally and carry my voice over the music?
call background music

Nothing at the moment...
There used to be an app called Call Cheater for symbian phones. I remember using it with my nokia n95. It allows u to choose any music or sounds to be played in the background while u are in the midst of your calls. Highly useful to pretend that you are in a busy cafe, bad traffic jam etc.

So I have been using and loving Google music and my 5,000 songs on cloud. I have found an irritating bug and am not sure if anyone has the same problem.
I have a head unit in my vehicle that is capable of streaming media via Bluetooth. Anytime I end a call Google music turns back on even after closing it. I have X it out in the notification slide down menu. I even went into running apps and force closed it. Keep in mind before I make the phone call Google music is not on, not in the notification bar and not in recently opened apps. And magically call ends on Bluetooth, and phone restarts Google music and starts playing in my car!
I don't think this happens if I I use google music with my headphones.

Well it really depends on the system in your car. Most systems I have dealt with (Ford sync, Toyota, Chrysler) automatically resume whatever song is playing if connected for Bluetooth audio. If you do not want audio playing through the phone you can just pause it using a command on the steering wheel or on the radio itself.

Yes it is supposed to resume whatever song is playing. i have ford sync for almost two years now and was using Pandora streaming plenty. If I exit Pandora or let me be even more specific, pause a song before I make a phone call, when I end the call the song stays paused or Pandora stays closed until I tell it otherwise. This is not the case for Google music. I press pause then song continues once call ends. I quit the program before call, song continues, force close before call song continues....Technically there should not be any song playing when I told it to stop in the first place.

Google listen, google music, slacket, Pandora, and spotify. If I begin playing a song and turn the screen off, more than likely songs will randomly pause, randomly because I don't know when. Wth
Please help thanks!

Happens with me too, but only as I unlock the screen. I am using the PlayerPro app, not sure why this happens.
tried mortplayer, google music, zimly, stock and the only one that hasnt paused is UberMusic. Not sure why that is tho. after a week of having this phone that is the only problem i can find. running juggs 5.0.
I'm Running DARKSIDE DIGITAL WARFARE and I don't experience these issues either with the stock player or Google Music (It happens with custom playlists under Google Music but thats a known but on their side)
After a day of testing I can say ubermusic works. It doesn't pause when screen is off and the notification music control works with it ( no album or song name). I hope this helps although it brings your choices of player to 1 that works with everything and a bunch that do a few.
While playing music on my un-rooted Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII, every time I unlock my phone the music switches from the headphones I have plugged in to the phone's speaker. When I un-plug and re-plug he headphones or pause and play the music, it switches back into the headphones. This issue is very debilitating as I am often listening to music in quiet places and it's embarrassing when my music starts blaring. Thanks for your help.

I have the opposite problem. When I listen to music on my headphones the music switches to the speakers when the phone locks. I guess you never figured this out. I know my problem is due to the lockscreen app "Widget Locker". When I deactivate it the problem goes away. Guess I'll head over to the widget locker thread and poke around. I'm on an S3 as well.
Edit:
I found a cool workaround by using the Tasker app. I made a profile which disables Widget Locker when i plug my headphones in and enables it when i unplug them. Seems to work pretty flawlessly.
Do you have gapless playback??

WHY when i listen to Music Whilst Playing Games the volume to my Music goes down??
Its annoying is there way to stop this, i've tried turning down all sounds from game but it still happenes.
please help its annoying.
thanks trimbal.
Probably has something to do with the sound API for the music player. There might be a setting in your music player to not lower the volume when other sounds play over the speaker.
It's meant to be useful like when you're listening to music and a notification or your GPS has an announcement, the music lowers automatically so you can here it.

Try turning off the game music and sound effects. Then close game, start music player and then start game.
thanks for replys
No none of that work...has any1 else had this problem? ?
and any other help.
thanks.
You need to troubleshoot. Try different music players. Pandora, Google play, different music players (loads to choose from).
Do they all do it?
