One X burst mode Query - HTC One X

Hello mates,
I had a query in the burst mode functionality of Camera of HTC OneX
The problem is when we shoot multiple images in burst mode, it creates a seperate folder at location,
DCIM>100burst
and the file name numbering starts from IMAG0001...
So if I use burst more than once I have multiple images in different folders with the same name starting from IMAG0001
Hence when i want to transfer files via bluetooth or to pc... I have Renaming Issues at the other end...
I hope many of the users might have faced this problem... Please help... Is there any way to manage this..?

Anyone?

Plug the sd card into your pc and run restoration on it
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/restoration.HTML
Can't guarantee it will work but it won't hurt to try, just make sure you restore the files to your HDD and not the memory card.
i know about recovery programs ,, but what caused the problem ,,?????? i want to prevent it for next time ... please tell me what can i do this problem making me crazzzzyyyyyyyyyyy
Please email HTC support,
I think there maybe an issue with the Desire, but HTC said that they were unaware of the problem.
The more people that email, maybe they will look into the "problem"

there was / is an issue with a .nomedia-file or .noimage in a folder.
This should hide media files from album apps, but in fact it deletes them.
Do you have made such a file?
No I never created any file .. they just vanished just like that .. and I mailed HTC and. They said recover and never replied back

[Q] Photos in Gallery not sorting correct

I have the T-Mobile SGS3. I noticed today while looking in the Gallery app to view my photos that they are not in the order that I have taken them. I checked the details, and the 'Title' shows the actual date/time the photo was taken. The 'Time' shows something different. The EXIF data from the photos that were instantly uploaded to my dropbox shows the correct timestamp of when the photo was taken.
I also noticed that some photos with different timestamps were the photos I used to transfer via Wifi Direct or S-Beam.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? This is a major flaw if the timestamps are being changed due to transferring.
one more thing...
I also noticed that the photos are dated in the future. For example, one photo was taken on 7/13/2012 20:20 and now shows a date of 7/16/2012 10:02.
Hello?

Yes, the freaking timestamp is wrong in the detail. Thus making any google+ photo upload messed up in date as well. Tried clear data on both gallery and camera...not working. Tried to install default ICS gallery, not working. The only way I can view the image in right order is to use QuickPic...but the timestamp is still messed up. :crying:

This is happening on my Verizon S III also.
It seems to be Google+ causing the problem. I disabled Instant Upload and it appears to have fixed the problem for any new pictures I take. The pictures with the broken timestamps don't even have any data in the "date taken" field in the EXIF data when I check it on my PC.
Try disable G+ Instant Upload and let us know if it fixes it for you.

sort gallery pics and videos
Hi. i had a problem when i was copyin pics from one of my device to other. It couldnt be sorted . I tried many options such as renaming , quick pic . nne worked. I found that when you copy pics to windows and it automatically stamps a "date created" time any time a file is copied. Due to this when i copied my pics to a new device from windows folder it wouldnt be sorted by date taken rather was sorted by date created. the way around is not using windows as the middle platform.
I connected both my source phone and destination device to a laptop. Copy directly from one device storage to the destination device storage. this does not edit the time stamp. This worked for me and all the copied itmes were sorted in gallery according to time taken.
So the only way is to copy directly from one device storage to another device storage (without copying it to windows intermediate folder).
Hope this works. do let me know if you need any help.

Change Naming Convention in HTC One X with this app!

Hey Guys,
This app rename the files
Instead of naming the pictures taken via stock camera app in IMAG0001 format to Year-Month-Day_(Incrementing Number)
The App's name is Pic Renamer.
This has been removed from playstore dont know why!
But this app worked fine when I was using HTC Wildfire S
When I switched to One X, having Sense 4+, this app stopped working..
Would you guys please check if its working in yours?
I feel thats because the App uses folder path "storage/sdcard/DCIM/100MEDIA"
but I think our HTC One X(Sense 4+ ) has path "storage/sdcard0/DCIM/100MEDIA"
Anyone can find a solution for it?
as this is the only best app that works to change the naming convention!
I have searched many apps but could'nt find anything as promising as this but I miss this app now..
Any help would be greately appreciated!

Retrieve notes from a broken phone HTC One X+

Hey
A while ago, the touchscreen on my phone broke and i figured I'd buy a new phone.
Now I had/have these important notes on my broken phone and I'd like to retrieve them.
So I tried snooping through the directory via my computer, but I can only find a .png file from my notes and a .html file that just opens chrome. Now for short notes the .png file would be enough but the note I'm trying to retrieve is quite long and the file doesn't capture it fully by far.
The notes are made on an HTC One X+ with the built in HTC notes app. I tried the HTC sync manager but that only works for putting files on the phone not retrieving them.
I hope someone can help me.

Screenshot location

Hello guys
For both work and Personal reasons I am taking a lot of screenshot. that means that my screenshot folder on the gallery has more than 1000+ photos.
That said, it annoys me that they are saved in camera folder and then autoupload to Google photos. Is there any way to change the location to, let's say pictures or downloads? Is it doable?
That is a lot of screen shots. As far as I know, you can't change the automatic upload folder.

Maybe try moving the folder (doubt this will work) or changing it to a secure folder.
I see one easy way. Google sounds like the problem.
Back up to a SD card instead of using cloud; saves battery and bandwidth.
