My fother just got a One V evrthibg is working great, but he want to add a new page to the home screen, on my one x I just pinch out. Or press home button to the leap mode, to add and demove pages, but still can't do it on the one v, so is there something to be changed in the setting or it just have its own method or is there something with the device ( I doubt that )

u cannt add in HTC Sense home screen download Go launcher or other launcher to add this function

HTC One V Sense UI has certain limitations to it though both one V and One X is on sense 4.0 version. OneV carries more of a stripped down version of the same sense. You cant add new screen, nor there is leap view and some other differences as well. Better get Golauncher as solai_4 suggested, if it is a must. No problems with the device here
You can flash a custom rom myOneRC3.2 that is stock based and allows to add pages to home screen. And the rom looks just like stock but One V but with some things from One X
This feature works great on the ninjaMyONEv offshoot of the ROM
I can recommend myONEv rc 3.2 custom rom. Works like a charm. You can add up to 9 home screens.

Hi, as im a new user cant really reply in dev threads So here goes asking it here...
Anyone experienced on a desire w Rannymede AIO v5 rom, that when you disable the Sense UI barrel roll animation after phone unlock, one of the panels (usualyl hte main one) is tilted and tilting the device also changes the angle of the panel... Maybe its a Sense bug/issue instead of the Rom one
I wish I could post it into the dev thread...

I think 3D home is enabled for you in RCMix Tweaks. Check it.

its a feature of sense 3.5 not an issue or bug. Just go to the RCMix3D tweaks-display options and untick 3D home if you don't like it

But if the 3d sense is on, and rthe rollercoaster effect is switched off (triggers with unlock), then i get this weird behaviour, when the desktop/screen is tilted sometimes and not straight.
I think you understood what I mean. Just wanted to share it anyways.

In the weather settings, you can select the option for 'Weather alerts - Show weather on lock screen every morning' which I've found will appear the first time you access the phone after 6am each morning, but doesn't appear to be any other options to get it on your lockscreen permanently

Yup I have done the same... I think HTC One V is not capable of showing wheather animations.
it's sad ... as one v does not support the full sense 4? ie on this phone is not a complete sense? complete requires more resources from phone? Why so?

sense 4 is designed more for a phone with better gpu such as one S or one X. that's why sense 4 was not released until this ONE series. it's a shame but I guess that in time when one V will have some developers, a full sense will appear for you guys and it will work flawlessly no matter what HTC was thinking when they strip to bone the sense for one V.
I will buy this phone in one month I can't wait !
Just wait a little longer until we have cwm recovery and some interested devs. We'll get an overclock kernel and a full sense 4 port from either the one s or one x.

yeah. One V will benefit from devs from X and S which is awesome (I can think one kernel dev from one X - currently on hero - riemer, but he said that kernels will differ from one x or one s to one v)... Full sense will be possible on One V also, it just needs a custom recovery. Anyone can do a port if he has patience and the right tools. If I get the phone I will more than sure get my hands full to make some ports...
certainly not true that one v cut a functional sense, most likely because the model is not the flagship, but we will wait custom firmware for our developers in the near future with a full sense

In this rom the weather lock screen is ported from HC ONE X.
Can someone port this to stock rom?
As you already know, LWPs pause on scroll if you use the Sense launcher so I had to use Apex Launcher when showing my phone off to friends
LWPs are probably not a big deal for many people but they're one of the reasons I love Android so it sucks that I can't really use them with Sense 4. Some say it's a bug but I personally think it's the way Sense is designed to work.
If any devs are reading this, could you please shed some light on how hard it is (or if it is possible at all) to fix/mod Rosie so that LWPs don't pause like that? Thanks!

So at least HTC is aware about the problem. I have also read somethere that to pausing/freezing is due to the fact that Sense uses the same resources as the live wallpaper an therefore it freezes when switching between homescreens.

Not sure about the mods, but have you tried WidgetLocker https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker&feature=search_result
has more customizations, you wont be depending on sense etc.
In trying to provide my sense 5 theme pack to all HTC one devices. I find most have different resolutions. Currently I'm working on the one s resize. Due to the heavy volume of images,its very time consuming. If someone would help get the images sized right for the V. I can finish the rest and give everybody a taste of sense 5. I will eventually get around to you guys,but I may be a while. Anyway thanks in advance if one of you has some time to pitch in. Images currently reduced to 960x540,for the S. Need to go down more to 800x480 for your phones.
