Anyone jump from CM10 with opinions? Is it worth the switch? Eager ti try, just backing up and usual prep stuff.
I'm excited to finally have this ROM for my phone!
Here's are some issues I've run into so far:
Selecting "Device Options" from the settings menu causes a FC
The centering of the lock screen is off, as you probably already know.
That's all for now! Thanks again!

BAMF is now using private signing keys. This means other system mods from other devs will not work with this rom, most likely, unless signed with our key. This was a necessary evil to make the rom more secure. It will help prevent a malicious application from gaining system control and getting access to sensitive data. Themers and modders that work with the team can contact us for these private keys. We cannot allow for public availability for obvious reasons, however. For those we do give the keys to, if they are leaked, we will simply change the key and give nobody access. So please respect our wishes to keep them private. The signing of this rom and apps MAY require a wipe to properly install.
Changelog, kernel:
----------
Overclocked to 1.35ghz, with stock speed steps.
Defaults to 1.2ghz
Tweaked deadline and CFS
charging while off works (Thanks Fabolous, Bixie)

Before I wipe everything to try this, is there any control provided over the search widget on the home screen? I know I'm in the minority, but I really like having it and don't want to give it up. I'd flash a mod over it to bring back the stock launcher, but by the sound of things, it looks like I can't with these private key files.

Is there a gsm version of the rom?
Gesendet von meinem Galaxy Nexus mit Tapatalk
I flashed this over aokp build 27 and worked like a charm. May I suggest a less glow on the lock screen or some different theming for it? The glow kinda melds the whole look of the lock together in a blur. Great work, loving this theme!

nice im glad it worked on build 27, though they are close builds i can not say there will be no issues doing that, but if it works it works and i hope you enjoy. update in the op for droidth3ory's new crossbreed 4.0.4 kang mix rom.

Is this theme compatible with CM9 on a GSM version?
No. Gsm shouldn't matter but it will mess up stuff on cm9 I believe
Enjoying the theme very much! Great work went into this. Keep up the amazing work! We need more themers for this amazing phone.

Completely off topic, but is that an 8 or a 9 in your signature? Mods? How much does it pull?
Sorry OP!
up date to the theme on droidhive, minor fixes, a feature or two added, messed up some stuff a bit on pulldown but got that fixed in the next updat, so enjoy
Man I'd love to, I still can't join the forum as I still have yet to get the confirmation email to join the forum to get in on the goodies. Anyway you can ask permission to post a mirror for the from and updated theme?

Slim for Verizon galaxy nexus?
Yes!

Reboot and Enjoy!
Sounds great but can you provide more details? What features were cherry picked from CM9 and AOKP? Is the removal of some apps what makes it so 'slim' or is performance improved as well?

Why is everything tiny? Has the LCD density been modified? Is there a way beside adjusting font size to get the size more stock so I don't have to get my reading glasses lol. This is a very nice rom and I would like to keep it. One more question; voice input? I don't see the mic icon on my keyboard. Am I missing the bus?

Amazing work as usual.
Quick and painless install I skipped face unlock as I have no desire to use it...
After about 2 minutes of playing the things I have found are very minor:
* I can't dial *#*#0011#*#* (or any of the variants - nothing happens, including no error)
* Initially there are no APN's. I tried the trick of enabling flight mode then disabling it (seen in other JB threads) .... and all was good
Now - should I get back to work, or play some more? Hmmmmmm.......

Omni is a community-based project for the Android community which is Free^3: Free to Use, Free to Modify, Free to Share. It's also about options, which is the beauty of Android - http://omnirom.org/
WARNING: This project is WIP and therefor has not (yet) all the features that are planned. Things will get better though. Omni is build against Android 4.3.1, so so you no more mobile disconnects. A rough progress of the features and bug fixes being added can be found here: https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/q/status:merged,n,z
As I don't own the device myself I can't test this, so please do yourself a pleasure and make a backup before flashing
The only things added to the standard Omni tree are the things needed to make it compile. And I cherry picked the Multiwindow feature. To use it go to recent apps -> long press -> add to multiwindow. Pressing home clears it
Anyway, here the link, it's on Google Drive (builddate 2013/10/29):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwNDN4ITQ7phRXhRVEVnLTBBRkk/edit?usp=sharing
The 'official' GApps (Google Play Store, GMail, Google+, etc):
http://goo.im/gapps
or the xperimental GApps for Android 4.3 (thanks to BaNkS, follow his thread here):
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=7775
Omni has not merged SuperSU yet so you'll have to add it yourself if you want root priviliges:
http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
If this is helpfull I'll try to update the builds every now and then until there are official nightly builds from the Omni team

Yep, I noticed. Technically it works, but you need to enter the APN yourself, the build uses the GSM APN list instead of the CDMA one. I uploaded a new version, see OP. Please test and let me know it this is working
