Use Volume Keys to Skip Track - HTC One X

Hi,
is there any mod available to allow skipping tracks using the volume buttons? I know that this works with AOSP based ROMs, but I'd also like to use it on stock based ROMs (ARHD user here). I've found a mod for the SGS3 (and tried it on mine - works perfectly) here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1770564
I've tried to port it over to the one X, but the differences between the files are too huge for me to make it work

It was already there in tweaks. Use IC or Venom rom. But it only works when screen is off.

you can find this tweak in ARHD v.6.3.1 in coredroid suite tools >> locks >> longpress volume keys music controler >> prev/next track
hope i helped.

[Q] volume rocker wake

can anyone please explain how to add volume rocker wake like those in cyanogen mod rom to a sense rom (DK custom rom)?
I had tried certain apps like magic locker, lockbot,etc.. but nothing works can anyone explain how to add that feauture directly to the rom instead of suggesting any apps to do that?
however any such apps working very well in our device with a sense rom is also welcome..

Volume button skip track for touch wiz 4.2 rom?

I find it strange that none of the s3 4.2 samsung rom has this feature.
this is kindda like standard issue feature for custom roms, wether aosp or samsung.
previous ics, jb 4.1 has this.
do anyone manage to find a 4.2 touch wiz rom with working long press volume key to skip track mod?
I have it enabled on Omega v46 using Nottach.
Installed the Xposed Framework, and used Nottach Xposed.
Nottach Xposed > Sound > Skip Tracks with volume keys.
Works like a charm
EDIT:
It just needs the Xposed framework. So technically, should work on any Rooted Stock rom, if I'm not wrong.

I didn't test your roms yet, but, based on quick look on roms (both version), i've noticed you removed semc setup wizard. Try installing it in v1.2 (as system app), and finish setup guide (sounds logical, because home button is disabled when phone booted for first time, and after setup guide it's enabled)

Volume Rocker

Hello!
Is there any method to change my music tracks (next song, prev song) with the volume rocker in stock based ROM?
Thank you?

DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible for anything you do with your phone and its consequences.
Create a nandroid backup of your phone using CWM or TWRP before you attempt this.
If you've rooted your phone and it's running stock Jelly Bean, you can install a genius of an invention called Xposed Framework (developed by rovo89), which enables you to modify certain framework related mods on the stock ROM without having to flash a custom ROM. You can read more about this on the official thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401). After installing Xposed Framework (follow the instructions provided on the thread carefully), you will have to install a mod called Xposed Tweakbox (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1629653). Activate the Tweakbox in the Xposed Framework app. In the Tweakbox app, under Miscellaneous settings, there is an option to 'Skip tracks with volume keys'. Save your preference and reboot. Enjoy. :good:

[MOD][4.4.x][5.0.x] Software Buttons Enabler | Flashable Zip

Hi Themers and Modders. I have a collection of flashable zips to enable Software (On Screen) Navigation Keys
What do the SW Keys Enabler zips do???
Enables Software Navigation Keys (On Screen keys)
Disables Hardware Navigation Keys (Home and back capacitive keys)
Disables Hardware Keys Lights (Does not disable notification LED)
TIP: You can use any Sense 6 enabler zip on any Sense 6 ROM
Disabler zips are included to restore your phone's navigation keys back to normal, no Software Keys and Re-enabled Hardware Keys and lights
Please note that if you have any build.prop tweaks, these will be gone. Also, you need to have init.d support in your ROM's kernel. To check if it does, download a root browser from the Play Store and go to /system/etc and if the folder "init.d" is there, then you are OK. If not, install a custom kernel or add it yourself using this guide.
