Hello,
My Sprint GS3 works fine under cm9 and paranoidandroid cm10 but I have the same problem, the camera works fine until I tap 2 or 3 times to focus on the far left. Now I know they are both nightly (not sure about paranoidandroid though) but everything else seems to work fine. Could this be an issue on my side with my phone? Thanks

I can confirm that I have this same issue. Have you tried Odin to stock, and did it continue then?

Started using CM7 before nightlies were released, everything was fine. Now for some reason after flashing the first official nightly, my Accelerometer isn't working quite properly. I can only switch from landscape mode and back when I go into gallery and view a photo, then turn the phone while viewing a photo. However, any movements out side of gallery do nothing. Anyone else having this issue?
Not sure whats going on for you but my 004/Novatech seems to be working just as it should prior to nightlies and now with nightlies.

I'm on 003. I pulled the battery a few times and did my normal weekly restart and that seemed to do the trick for a while. Now it works like it should MOST of the time. Sometimes it still won't change unless i'm in gallery.
I have a KF, my wife uses it with CM7 and loves it.
I see that there are now stable ICS versions, and reading through various threads, I'm considering the [ROM][4/29/12] AOKP KF Edition Milestone 5. I have AOKP on my Samsung phone and really like it.
Anyone have any experience with it?
Also does it contain the newest kernel everyone is talking about, v.3, or does that have to be installed separately?
Funny, I went from from TWRP to KF a month ago as I figured that's the way everyone was going, and there was the new touch version. Now it seems I have to go back to TWRP in order to install this ROM.
I'm using it right now. It seems stable to me! I haven't ran into any problems so far. Mounting and AC charging work fine (though the battery animation didn't show it on the notification bar, the LED light shows it normally). And to properly switch off you have hold the power button rather than shutdown through the OS.
I'm reading, browsing and redditing perfectly smoothly.
Works awesome! It's the first ROM I've tried that JustWorks(c)
I was having issues with several others, and from install to boot to configure everything went smoothly.
I followed these instructions:

Thanks to all involved!

Are you having any WiFi connecting problems? I am using gedeROM and wifi disconnects every 10 minutes and then I have to go back into settings for it to connect again so I was wondering if there were any similar issues with AOKP.

I had the gede and it had wifi problems.
AOKP wifi works flawlessly for me.
I just flashed it today coming from gedesrom and I am very impressed. Better battery life and it charges on the AC charger faster. I do run into a few trebuchet force closes every now and then, but for the most part I'd say its the most stable.

Yup! I got on board with the previous version, build 34, which did not contain the latest Hashcode kernel, but it was no problem flashing it on top. Worked pretty good.
And I just flashed this new version, Milestone 5, on top of the previous build without wiping data (just cache/dalvik). Works like a charm.
Also does it contain the newest kernel everyone is talking about, v.3, or does that have to be installed separately?

Yes. Milestone 5 has the absolutely latest Hashcode kernel, and it runs very smooth. And I like some of the tweeks and custom options in this ROM.
I have not had any crashes or problems so far. Recommended.
I've tried both gedeROM and AOKP milestone 5. Both work great, but gedeROM seemed to have cleaner graphics, AOKPs icons in the notification area seemed funky. They would overlap or be off on one side.
One more thing, and this could be more of a kernel issue, is that the Hulu app gives a "Device not supported" error for both of those ROM. Hulu did work with CM7.

Nope, never had a problem with Wi-Fi on either aokp or reloaded.
Hi when I flashed CM9 my LED flashlight no longer works. I don't have a problem with it I was just wondering if other people have this problem too. I love cyanogenmod and it would be better if everything works.

Flashlight Issue
I tried CM9 and had no problems except the flashlight. I upgraded to CM10 with Jellybean and it's flawless except NONE of the flashlight apps will work with the LED light. The tiny flashlight app works with "Strobe" mode, but not LED continuous mode... Has anyone else experienced this issue, or have any insight on it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe a reflash
from my phone
hello i recently flashed this version of cyanogen-mod on my Samsung s2 and am having an issue. First of all, i used a non-touch CWM but it was confirmed to work as long as you use super swipe, so i did that and it worked no problem. However the back-lighting on my buttons will not come on. It is not broken because it sometimes works but mostly does not. i am wondering if there is a fix or a setting i need to use to get it to work.
Thank you

have you tried "settings > advanced > sensors" and checking the backlight and notification settings?
yes I have tried it, it fixes the issue but once I lock the phone and then unlock it it does not work anymore.

It's a known issue with any aosp builds such as cm or aokp. No one has gotten it to work consistently yet with ics or jb

i am having this problem on every version or CM9 past RC2 and CM10 i really would like a fix
i looked into this a little and it seems that it's a problem from the moment you turn off the screen until the first hard light timeout afte the screen is turned back on
Apparently the bug is also in Miui and AOKP

nevermind.. i just updated to 20121024 and it seems to be working now.. dunno if it was teh udpate or what
I'm on 10/22 and it works fine, the only issue I've had since going to CM10 from TW is the video box is actually blank on my screen but they see me fine. When I go to rear camera and it changes views it's fine but even after going back to front camera the box still shows as empty.
Weird.
