A fellow XDA'er, Fergie716 sent me this app the other day, and I feel compelled to share it with the GNex community. This is, by far, the best Photo Gallery app I've ever used.
As far as I know, it's relatively new from a Sony Xperia ROM

Ya, the sharing functionality seems to not work. This app wasn't ported, just straight from the Rom. I can look inside tho and investigate a real port.

Awesome looking gallery. Gave me a systemUI crash shortly after I installed it though. If that didn't happen and this had the functionality of QuickPic I'd switch to it

There aren't any "rock solid" cm10 roms yet, really. But besides the point, if you have any logs, or can replicate, willing to take a look.
In general, Rom name and version is helpful for me (or others) to trouble shoot.

Its a good start. Needs some improvements Im gonna keep an eye on it. Would like to see the ability to send messages from widget instead of launching talk. Also its crashing alot on me on axium 2.4. Sent a report

Wow, thought one would never come. Considering I use Gtalk almost religiously, it's fantastic that there's finally a widget of some sort for it. I've always wondered why something like Gtalk didn't have more support for it.
This app is a good start but like others have mentioned, sending messages from the widget itself would be awesome.
nice find. works fairly well, it just needs the interface cleaned up a bit
I would also like to see the ability to only show active chats. Its definitely a work in progress bi just really hope this gets the attention it deserves

Thanks for the tip, it worked and the widget did download and install now. But now I can not use the widget. I go between a Sense ROM(Android 4.0.3 and Sense 3.6) and a CMX ROM(Android4.1.1) and the Sense ROM is the one I had trouble installing the widget on. On the Sense ROM the widget showed up once in my list of widgets and put the widget on my home screen. But it just opens up to the settings for the widget, and it does the same when I open the widget in the app tray. So I removed it from my home screen and now it does not show in my list of widgets but it is in my app tray still. I will be testing it on my CMX ROM later today and will post back with feed back on it as well.
Edit: I just now realized this thread is in the Galaxy Nexus Themes and Apps forum. I have a HTC Sensation but I found this thread by google search for a G Talk Widget.
Has this been removed from the market?
Is an apk still available?
TIA

This here is a Sense 3.5 rom with some touches of Sony’s Xperia UI.
Huge thanks to xT4Z1N4TRx. I ported his version of this from the G2.
You can check out the original work over here
He has a video posted that shows off the features pretty well.
Almost everything works
If you find something let me know
I have found one small bug where it will cut off the search bar in market
First boot will take forever - just wait for it you'll be happy with what you get.
and like any RCmix3d based rom there is a USB mount issue
There is a couple other bugs with hopeful fixes on their way as well
Hope you guys like it.

Damn I had to check and see if I was in the MT4G forum there for a second.
Downloading now! i think i may have a new DD soon!
This is really nice. Smooth with a nice UI. No bugs to report as of yet. Thanks for this.
Thank you iblaststatic!
Flashed 1.2 last night. Until ICS gets worked out for the mt4g, I'm thinking this will be my daily driver.
Comments:
* Super smooth
* Beats very nicely integrated and VERY noticeable (via speaker and PowerAmp w/ headphones)...plenty loud
Only thing not working for me is disabling notifications for stock Messaging. When trying to access Settings, get the FC (process com.android.mms). Anyone else seeing this?
I'll report more if/when issues arise.
EDIT: FYI - I'm using the stock kernel packaged with the rom. I did a full wipe of everything except sdcard before installing via 4ext.
mms is a known bug and is being worked on as we speak. thanks for the heads up
issues and updates
Yep the mms settings is force closing and it is being looked at
I have found a few other bugs that I will be working on.
I have also just uploaded a very minor update. this one has removed the htc dialer/contact apps. I felt there was no need to have to of each lol. it still is under the same version number and same dl link.
Thanks guys

I don't think so because this rom uses a modified xperia launcher.
On a side note you can use the launcher "homerxperia" on other roms. I am using this on miui with miui experia theme. You don't even have to push this to system/apps. I just found the app and installed right from my file manager

Its not miui. Its another OS the chinese have developed
So far my findings.
Very fast and fluid rom, really like it! Actually the video camera works on my phone its just a little laggy most likely an issue with the media_profiles.xml file.
This is pretty much MIUI with the benefit of android 2.3.7 as well as a drawer!!! I am going to use it for a while as my dd and see what else I find.
The camera is pretty nice, the photos are good, it appears the navigation buttons (home, menu etc) are too bright but this is likely part of the issue with the keys not lighting up.
Also the auto brightness is a bit dark, so I set it to manual brightness for now until this is fixed, also probably due to some smali files not being changed fully in framework.jar
Overall Awesome work, very happy there is a new rom out there now!
===EDIT===
I received a reboot after clocking over 1300mhz so I ended up installing the ILWT kernel and testing again, it appears to be smoother but might be too early to tell.
Also the link to install the google addons is not working can you please fix.

Yeah, sure you can flash anything in the world, but if it's not made for your phone, it might get bricked, and if it happens to work for some reason, of course it will be filled whit bugs.

This is nice and smooth. Really like the way the app drawer works. Only major criticisms so far are a lack of Google calendar and no track pad wake. Calendar is easily sorted but wake would be useful.

Well, I haven't noticed many issues.
1. Physical button backlight is too bright, like someone else said earlier
2. Folders in the app drawer; the icons aren't aligned properly.
3. No trackpad wake, like others have said.
4. Battery life seems bad.
Will edit as I run into more problems. This is definitely a good rom. Just needs some minor fixes.

I want to start with saying that this theme is an paid theme through google play but I attached the uzip for the widget to left.
In other word, that one is free of charge and modifiable!.Just wanted to let that be said before anyone goes rampage cause I put a lot
of work in making this. The 4 months of wait for UCCW to implement high resolution support was terrible (not complaining!) ;_;
The last screenshots shows the beta version I created. As for now, the theme takes up the whole screen as you can see in the other screenshots.
To emphasize, I tested this on my Nexus 7, the widgets should fit perfectly.
If you're a N4 user you might have seen it over there as well. I thought I maintain a thread here as well since after all, I'm a N7 owner!
Installing uzip theme files:
Download UCCW and add a UCCW widget to your homescreen, select "uzip" and browse and select the theme.

Did it work out in the end? Sometimes uccw shows white widget when refreshing for a split second, but it should get back to normal right after that.
Didn't do it on my vibrant, so just removed and readded it and edited it all at the same time. Had a few moments where it just showed image place holders and no images.

Did you maybe consume all the ram available? Another thing, how does the widget look on the vibrant? It got a display of 480 x 800 after all and the theme was recommended to be used on a 720p screen.

You can see the ram consumption in settings, sometimes uccw can take up to 80mb which is one of the reason I recommend this on a phone with at least 720p (those phones usually have decent specs). Thanks for the screenshots, how does it look in real life though? I will assume the text is barely readable?
369mb for memory under the settings.. Running Paranoid Android 2.54 (android 4.1.2). Text ain't too bad, I have it setup in phablet mode anyways to get more space on the home screens.

That should be enough! You might want to send a letter to the UCCW developer as I never had this issue before. And thanks for telling me that the text was readable, I havent personally tried it on that resolution yet.
still cant be downloaded?
Yeah, I have no idea what is taking google so long to review my account. Just sent them another email (an hour ago) asking them if you're even working.
Gotta love Google... I know one of their things, if an app is downloaded from any updates have to be done through them as well. Not to mention anything within the app can't be downloaded from outside sources either. Do I sense, Apple's methods coming to the play store? lol

Yeah, they became very strict about that. Just emailed them earlier today and they said they never got the information about my identity so I had to send them again....
