I personally don't really like it. I also miss having the music player on the lockscreen from previous devices. And the ripple is eh. Its neat for a while but it loses its touch later on. Anyone else?

Yeah, it was cool at first, but then it started to get boring. Hated the white wash effect it gave on the wallpaper. So now, I'm using holo locker. It's pretty nice.

Personally I like the ripple effect with the wallpaper I got. Looks great.
The quick icons are also really nice (you can change them).
The only thing I miss the default music controls from most apps. You have to use 3rd party that don't always look so good.

I have mine set to motion unlock and it's probably the only thing keeping me from going to cm9. Just put your thumb on the screen and tilt the top of the phone toward you to unlock. It's the quickest way to unlock your phone while still having a bit of security in place.

When using app it will need to kind of pass the original lock screen and then go to widget locker or such ... it is kind of why it seems glitchy when you use one but if you flash one it works right away ... I just never liked the way widget locker did

Well, when you install an app, aren't you manually putting files on your phone?
More seriously, an app is just running on top of Android. It has to overide the current locksreen in the operating system and work around it. Otherwise, you're literally changing how the operating system works if you flash something like TSM parts.

If you use WidgetLocker, be sure to enable RootHelper in settings and HomeHelper, optionally, and watch the glitches go away. You'll never see your stock lockscreen again.
Another thing you can do, which I used to do on my Evo 4G and 3D (only if you're not using a lockscreen password) is disable the stock lockscreen, and then use ButtonRemapper to make the volume keys NOT wake the phone. That way you 100% will NEVER see your stock lockscreen. When WidgetLocker tells you in the instructions that it's impossible to disable the stock lockscreen and not have all buttons wake the phone, it's bs. For some reason ButtonRemapper doesn't display keys correctly on the GSII, but I think there's a separate GS version that works fine. You can get it on XDA for free.

Can't set any security on it, therefore this is useless to me. But as for functionality, it worked flawlessly on Darkside Evolution v8. Notification drop down did indeed work along with the camera launch.
The only thing I dont like about these lockers is that pressing the home button from the lockscreen unlocks it, I saw an option on this locker to disable that, but it ended up disabling the home button completely

Hello peeps.. so I decided to share a nice trick that has been working amazingly well for me. If you want to add things like flash light.. mobile data...brightness control to your notification area head on over to the play store and get Notification Toggle. Let's you customize whichever toggles you'd like. Also let's you download and change the icons to each toggle.. really fresh and I have been rocking it for a while with no issues. For those who don't know about this app.. knock yourself out!!

Okay i noticed a small problem. You know for using notification toggle you need to enable it under accessibility settings. Some how this is partly turning on the talk back accessibility service. When you pinch to collapse home screens or apps in drawer, it starts talking. Anyone else having this problem?
Sent from my SGH-T999
Turn talk back off. its right above the notification toggle on/off switch. You might have turned it on accidently.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
Talk back is turned off, that's the first thing i checked. The talk back happens only when pinching home screen and app drawer. If talk back is on it talks for every screen touch any where, which is not happening.
Sent from my SGH-T999
I have the same problem. Turn off toggle notification in the accessibility section. It will still work just won't stay on top in the ongoing notification section. But all other notifications won't. Not a big deal to me...talk back was really irritating.

When clicking on the temperature/weather circle on the stock circles widget it brings up a beautiful full screen weather report. I was wondering if this is accessible when not using the circles widget. I know it says it's powered by accuweather, but when I downloaded the standalone accuweather app, it didn't look nearly half as good. I love the look of the weather and how the forecast is presented and just wanna know if it's possible to access that when not using the circles widget, or is that just built into the app? I would like to be able to access it through another widget I use that allows you to open weather (and other features) with the app of your choosing.
If this is not possible, part 2 of the question: is there a similar animated weather app that has the same sort of style to it available on the app store? I've looked around but none seem to have the same style to them.

Re: Circles widget weather?
For anybody else that may be interested, I found an app somewhat similar to the circles weather app that gives the temperature, forecast, and a few other details with a clean interface and animated background. It's called Be Weather Pro. It cost $1.99 but I like it. The animation is a bit fast for my taste and it doesn't appear that you can change the speed, but it looks pretty sweet of you were looking for a nice looking weather app somewhat similar to the Circles Widget Weather screen.

+1 for Be Weather Pro. I've been using it since its beta. I also like the screen that comes up when tapping the Circles widget weather, but the widget itself seems redundant to me. I already have a clock and a battery meter in the status bar and see no need to repeat them on my home screen.
