Ok I got the HTC One X and have come across a couple issues.
Regarding the large HTC weather widget I am unable to edit the cities from the edit list and also am having a similar problem with the large picture frame widget of not being able to choose which album I want to appear in the picture frame.
Are any other people experiencing this or know how to resolve it?
I have tried clearing the widget cache and HTC Sense but nothing changes.

I've had my Desire for some time already and although I love it there's something that really bothers me and it's the 4x1 calendar widget. I find it the best for the main home screen but it's just useless. Most of the time it doesn't show the event that should be showing and it shows something later in time (it doesn't confuse the date, it just misses what's in between).
I've managed to get it back to normal several times after restarting the phone and/or resetting the application but it either takes very long or I can't remember the sequence of things to do to make it work again. It's a pain in the ass.
I've seen other open threads about problems with that widget but most of them are quite old and without real solutions. Of the proposed alternatives I found all of them quite ugly, frankly.
Is there a solution to the built-in problem or a widget that looks similar?

I have just jumped ship from Smooth Calendar to Small Agenda Widget. In 4x1 it just beats Smooth by showing 4 lines not 3.
Jorte has every size of widget you can imagine.
Thanks, guys! I think I'll go for Smooth Calendar. With the HTC-style mod that is around there it looks quite similar to the default one and reasonably decent-looking. Let's see if HTC brings something out to improve it.
This probably does not seem like a big deal but it's driving me nuts.
The HTC agenda/calendar widget causes sense to crash every time it loads.
Yes, I have tried the android one and Pure Calendar Widgets etc but they are not the same.
I was going to try digging the HTC Calendar widget out of the 1.20 Stock ROM to see if it will install. Anyone know if that's likely ?
I don;t want to be a whiner but I'm kinda mad some of the crap HTC pull. In this latest release I've lost the two widgets I used most, the news widget and the agenda widget

you are right...I am also facing the same BUG, sense is rebooting one we select the calander/agenda widget....
Regards,
Isn't that only if you have your Facebook calendar syncing before adding the widget though? Possibly because it's having to add too many events?
Agenda widget working fine here with two calendars syncing - plus you can add the FB calendar once the widget is on screen.

No. I am only showing 1 calendar in the agenda widget and it's not the facebook one. It's my exchange calendar.
The bug seems to be linked to the number of appointments you have.
Mine worked fine for the first few days and then this morning started crashing. This is because now that the easter holidays are almost over my work diary for next week is really full, hence lots of appointments etc.
If I change the widget to only show the facebook calendar or only show tasks etc it works fine.

Damn. That does not seem to be working.
I;'ve got the system image out of the rom but I can't extract it using unyaffs.
Any pointers from any of you android chef genuises ?
Maybe someone could just extract and post the agenda widget apk and I will test ?
Cheers.
I had the same problem once. I have 2 calendars synced + facebook.
I removed the widget and re-add it and it's working.
I saw an other bug : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590772
Fix Found (Sort of...)
I have found a fix for this.
If I tell the widget to "Show All Calendars" it's fine.
If i tell it to only show one, even if that's the only calendar with any events in it, it causes Sense to crash.
Guess I'll just tell it to show all calendars
Strange - show all causes mine to crash as it then includes Facebook.
If I just use my work exchange and Google calendars it works fine and I'd imagine there's more than 20 entries in those?

I am using the standard Android widget (the 2x3 one) and it annoyingly doesn't seem to update. When I add items to my calendar they do not show up and sometimes the widget shows a day behind the actual date.
There also seems to be no refresh button for this widget. Is there a way to do that and does anyone else have this problem?
Ahhhhh ! Fixed in the 1.28 OTA update. Sweet, sweet bugfix

HTC's calendar widget in agenda format (4x4) freezes Sense each time I switch to the homescreen on which the widget lies. This has only started occurring the last few days. Reboot doesn't help. Anyone else with this bugginess?
Yes I've had this since day 1.
The smaller (4x3?) widget doesn't cause this issue and you can resize it to 4x4.
However, I've found that it doesn't seem to show correct/full information - often only showing two or three items from the next couple of weeks, missing items and leaving lots of unused space. It's also not as space-efficient as the stock ICS agenda widget. I've switched to APW
Had this too. Problem doesn't occur if I select all calendars, it only happens if at least one is not selected.

The same here, after I removed one of the calendars from the available ones. Just few minutes ago the launcher crashed while scrolling down the agenda widget..

Hello,
I just bought HC One V a couple of days ago, and I was loving the homescreens and display until I tried removing the Photo Album widget (the one with a stack like appearance). I tapped and held the finger there to make the edit and remove bar appear but the widget simply disappeared.
Now the screen is empty, but I am unable to add ANY widget at that screen.
Any ideas?
it's a tiny bug i faced before, try resetting your phone~ it should work
The widgets I have on my homescreen that have displays that update ... e.g. the stock date/time/temp/event widget ... do not update their displays. The data updates, but not the display. I have searched the googleweb and have found many threads on this issue. I have tried the solutions suggested in the threads ... e.g. clear cache ... but they do not work (and did not work for the people originating the threads). I thought I'd try removing then readding one of the widgets, and the widget does not display, the spot I dropped it into remains blank. Even so, the widget is there because you cannot drop anything new into the space, but it does not display ... which I consider the same as widget display not updating. It's apparently a legitimate issue given how many threads there are, and the commonality among them appears to be KitKat. Anybody know if there's a solution to the problem, or at least a way to make the widgets displays start updating again without rebooting the device?
