CM10 Colour Settings - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys.
Anyone got a calibrated set of settings for CM10? I seem to get too green, too red or too blue! Haha. Driving me nuts. And I can't use my usual kernel with app as CM hates that and some features don't work after that. Like usb storage. Going into storage after a kernel flash causes storage in settings to crash.
Thanks guys.

If you are getting too much of all 3 primaries, just drop your contrast levels a little bit, leave the color gammas alone. They are pretty subjective as the screens vary a bit. I run cm10 and trinity kernel and get realtime adjustments to color. Maybe take a look? And i have usb storage. Just a suggestion

Oh thanks man. Yeah I own the glados app and Franco app. Only one I don't is trinity. Haha. Glados colour control is great, just scared of losing features or the rom freaking out. Cool man. Good to know that it works on Trinity.
I spose the trouble is I like to have white whites and black blacks and grey not blue, purple or red haha. I have that trouble. Just can't seem to find the happy medium.

I totally like your settings just the contrast seems to high to me. I use -20 for Contrast. Makes it perfect for me. White is white and black is black (not grey)

Brightness slider in notification drop down. Anyone have it?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1768962
This thread has some awesome customization features including adding the brightness slider into the notification toggle. However, as far as I can tell these themes only work on the GSM variant. I thought about giving it a try on the FreeGS3 R6 ROM but I'm a bit nervous about screwing my device up.
Anyone have another theming option for the brightness slider known to work with the T-Mobile variant? Or is anyone willing to try one of the themes in the above thread and report back?
Try this if you like..found it on sgs3 international version but it works on Tmo version.

Ha! I'm using your ROM but definitely not feeling the black/white theme. I just need Wildchld to add this feature to his XquiziT theme and I'll be a happy camper.

I used to use this but I found sometimes hard to adjust and you can see the bar. If you make it semi or fully transparent its even harder to adjust. You can make the sliding area wider but it could take up too much area as to accidentally adjust the screen brightness when you're just trying to do notification pull down. Bad when you're outdoor in daylight and you accidentally dim the screen.

The latest CM10 8/14 build is finally stable enough to use as a daily driver. So I ended up switching to that and I haven't found any bugs at all thus far. The huge plus here is that it has the feature built in where you can just slide your finger across the status bar to increase or decrease the brightness. It works great and I am extremely pleased.

Well I think it depends on what JB build you are using as some roms have the settings in different places, but if I remember correctly (I'm using regular CM10 and it doesn't have that option yet) it's under the toggles settings.
I'm assuming you're on Task & Ktoonsez AOKP ROM? If so, it's in Settings > Rom Control > General UI > Choose Notification Background.
Hey good job on that.I know a lot of us could've used that since we forget sometimes.

I know it's possible though.

[Q] Which display mode do you use ?

Hi. There are 4 kind of display mode:
-dynymic
-standard
-natural
-video mode
Which one you use everyday ? Did you try another for increase battery life ?
I'm usually on standard modd the second one. I wanted to try natural but the colours are too ugly.
Anyone tried perseus kernel and change settings colours for the natural mode and see the change?
Thanks

Natural and Perseus' Master Sequence is almost the same.
Natural seems to have more saturared colors though.

Master Sequence over rides the Samsung's screen display profile. I believe it gives me a better white than Natural or Movie display.

Well, natural mode is still way off - the whites IIRC still had that green hue to it. Perseus comes with calibrations that even beats iPad etc, read the thread for more info You can see when you compare it with an iPad to see what I'm talking about.
And read the Perseus thread for more info re: calibration, there are some interesting posts by Slimer777 on the same

Yep. Most of the difference people notice is contrast ratio, color calibration etc. - the whole PPI/resolution aspect is way too overrated. Now when I switch the calibration off, the icons seem horrible and blurry. The screen is crisp and gorgeous with calibration on.
I use dynamic as its more of saturated and I love them with red pill my kernel

Purple Tint CURE

OK. It is known that a respectable amount of GNexs' displays are plagued by a purple tint.
Some thought they just had inferior display panels. That's not the case. They are just badly calibrated.
I tried, in vain, to fix the tint by using the partial calibration controls offered by some custom kernels and TricksterMod, etc.
It made the things a little better but that was it. The problem remained. So, I researched a little and finaly
I compiled a pair of AK kernels, one for Android 4.2.2 and one for 4.3 with fixes at the panel driver LUT (Look Up Table).
Those of you that have a purple tinted display go ahead and flash them. Post your findings here.
4.3: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44267006&postcount=31216
4.2.2: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44267443&postcount=31218
P.S. Of course your Trickster color settings should slightly change now
It didn't completely get rid of it but its about 90% gone

Okay, so the app only works with those kernel builds compiled by mpokwsths, I assume.
Could you share a patch?
a manta wrote this.
Sure, I could share the code. But as it seems it isn't the same for everyone. Samsung did a mess with GNex calibration.
The good thing is that for everyone it is miles better than stock.
Anyone else tried the kernels?
