[Q] Frontline commando

Hi guys,i'm Alelssio from Italy.I'm a noob and so young .I need some help about this game.I have galaxy ace with custom rom Cyanogenmod 7.2.I've tried to use chainfire 3d but the result is the same: unexpected application termination.So my question is : Is there a way to play to this game??

Doesn't works the armv6 version !!

Yes official won't work!
Luckly there are porters around

1st man your internet downloads FAST!!!
2nd Sometimes it does not go 2 second level if your phone is full
if you have a clean install+slaidyboost+fast rom(bloatware gone) it works
also it is much!much! better with chainfire 3d and nividia drivers
so the game is actualy to heavy 4 our ace but with a rom like stocklite it works!

[Q] temple run freezes

its irritating to see when the screen freezes while playing temple run.anybody experience this?

Do you use StockROM or CustomRom?

Same issue with my stock ROM.
Read it runs perfect on CM9 tough.

I experienced it, it freezed all the time on StockROM, but on CM9 it runs smooth..
If you prefer StockRom you can try "[root]Chainfire 3D", a app that boost 3D games, I heard it helps, but it didn't work for me, maybe you want to try it..
I recommend a CustomRom, CM9 works fine..

Runs great on CWG 4th OC at 1.6GHz with SuperCharger V6 Option 7 n Nitro + BulletProof

Lags frequently on stock rom. But if you use CM 9 it will work prefectly great.

i have a different phone (galaxy S2 with Cyanogenmod 9) but ever once in a while when playing TR the phone freezes completely so i have to remove the battery.
after a reboot the TR data is deleted so i have to start all over again....

Same configuration and ROM. Very smooth and stable.

sometimes happen with me also. and make me falling down into the river.

I have the same problem on my galaxy s 2 with cm9 and it's very irritating -.-

Did anyone tried playing temple run using Black Note Hybrid 2nd gen? How was it?

hi,i've cm9 alpha3 but temple run freeze often :/

if temple run freeze with cm9 alpha 3 you have a problem with the rom files.İ should re-download the rom and install with no restore.before flashing backup your sd card(only music,video,images...not apps).after installition manually install your apps and be sure to full wipe before flashing.cause the some stock files may make problem with cm9

i think Gio's performance is not enough to play games……
Chinese are improving themselves!

Not for the better games like temple run and boss 2, its abit too laggy for those games.
But for hill climb racing its just perfect, though. ;D

use CM7.2 based ROM (currently im using LG themed music edition ROM), they're quite fast for gaming, i can even play agent dash with minimal lag
the other ROM i suggest is AOKP milestone 6 CM9 based. it can run as fast as the previous ROM but needs heavy tweaking (IMHO) but it still buggy (no native wifi tether, no native camcorder)

For me, this two roms are the most good for games. For the test, i've played temple run 2 and i haven't lag on this roms:
[DEV] CyanogenMod 7 | MoltenMotherBoard
ROM][PORT]SGSII JB ROM - Version 10
Tip: Install Chainfire 3D for better playing. Work on SGSII JB ROM, i 've not tried to cyanogen.
But: The game is more smooth on Cyanogen, only this Cyanogen.

temple run 2 running whitout lag? that's not posible i tweaked hard my rom delete a lot of unwanted app and still sometimes i see some minimal lag

Yup agree, on gio there will always be lag.

thats why i always test a ROM using agent dash, because it have very minimal lag. its also a better game IMHO :highfive:

CyanogenMod 9 - RC9 - Gaming Tests and Discussions thingy

I've gather information from other users abt gaming perfomance on the Wonder and of all Custom ROMS, Cm9 is the best so far since it is stable. Some known games aren't be able to play on ALL CM9 cusroms and i have no clue on why is that... I also put a list games with lag issues... These are the following
NOT WORKING GAMES: GTA3 (so far i heard)
GAMES WITH LAG ISSUES: Nova, ShadowGun DeadZone (from my tests)
I hope we can try discuss on this on making it free of lag and making certain games be able to be played.
And for Gaming ROMS???
OneOfAKind is by far the best from what I heard (i can confirm that)

i have oneofkind rom
and i palying modern combat 3 online very somth with gamebooster and seeder
and minimum frequency 768 and maxmum cpu 1401
aand no any lag !

Yap. Its true, i feel more improvement on gaming after using task manager, just combined that app with seederV7. Then the result.. games run smoothly even without oc and min clock 245mhz:thumbup:

I have one of a kind rom hybrid version 19.1 its the best of the best rom for gaming and battery i have the kernal that comes with rom yoon kernal 3.0.66

yea, me too, the ROM is real fast but i go for thr Standard V20 as there is HurtSky's kernel always updating. Throught i wanna give a try

Woah, hold on there, how is NFS smoother than Real Racing 3??? My RR3 runs fine with the RR3 graphics tweak, u shld try!

1. M.U.S.E (despite saying compatible)
2. Sefirah
3. Castle Master 3D (despite saying compatible)
4. Horn (despite saying compatible)
5. Reign Legend of Godric (despite saying compatible)
6. One Piece AR Cardass Formation (working on stock rom)

RR3 are more heavyer than my NFS, i use NFS version 1.0.47 additional behind-the-scenes adjustments to improve overall gameplay and added device support, thats why my NFS are to smooth, Question how to tweak the graphics of RR3? tell me dude im interested.

There's an app called, RR3 Graphics at the Play Store. Make sure that u r swapped to the game directory ... as in, the game data is mounted... Unless u are using GL to SD (like me ) Mount the system there THEN launch the app. From there, Tweak the quality to ur liking ... I suggest iPhone 3 (3) is the best! gd luck !

You mean RR3 and RR3 graphics must the same directory like Sdcard Directory or Phone Internal Directory? Is that you mean?

Still laggy dude and when i play long the game crash and stuck the game :crying:
I try those settings Low, Medium and Iphone 3.3. I think the kernel are the problem i guess.

Will we be able to install apps that require Android 4.0+ like Google Chrome(the original), Nova Launcher?
And what about games that weren't compartible with the Galaxy Y, like Subway Surfers, Temple Run and others. Do these drivers cover us both on games and apps.

if app or game is compatible with armv6 n android 4+ then we will be able to install n use it. nova n apex is compatible with armv6 n android 4+ so we can install n use them. but we cant be able to install games like subway surfers n temple run since they r compatible with armv7. also we cant use chrome even if its compatible with armv6. coz it isnt even stable in an armv7 low end device.

Indeed, Chriome sucks both on my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 running SlimKat 4.4.2

chrome is very heavy on phones, dolphin is much better i think and very very stable

Lags too much on my phone.
Abandoned it for the stock browser.
Though it was a good browser, especially the gesture...

it's light and good also increase download speed
i've used opera only for browsing, but for streaming and download i prefer with baidu

i dunno, but i prefer stock based rom i've tried several roms from cm but i'm not so satisfied, so i pick stock based, just like now, i'm using haiyan from sir @markmellarpes :highfive:
