My problem is 9 out of 10 times my phone will take 5 minutes to start up. What can i do to fix this? I have no idea what is causing the problem. I am running the bugless beast ROM
Thanks
Have you tried flashing the Jelly Bean bootloader?
It's said to improve long boot times immensely.

Hi folks,
I just got my galaxy nexus 3 days ago and today I flashed wit one rom which is AOKP.
This rom is really impressive in terms of the performance in browsing and overall.
But I miss the ICS stock boot animation. Could anybody help me to find the boot animation?
And I'm not a developer so I have very little knowledge about how to apply it.
Please let me know how to.
Hope somebody can kindly help me out

Here's the optimized version for deeper blacks and more vibrant colors. Be sure to get the January 8th one. Flashable through CMW (just like you did with AOKP rom). Or you could just unzip the package, and push the bootanimation.zip to /system/media using terminal or root explorer.

Thank you so much I'll try it out now!

I tried this version but it's not smooth towards the end
hi there
I tried this version. It's full screen on my galaxy nexus but it's not smooth towards the end of the animation where the device is getting close to being booted.
I've flashed my galaxy nexus a few hours after the launch of Jelly Bean and whilst Jelly BEan is really good, I hate its bootanimation.
Still prefer the stock ICS one.
Can someone please post the stock standard ICS bootanimation.zip file here please?
I have a t989 with DARKSIDE.EVOLUTION.3 running the latest version and my wife has a galaxy nexus running stock jelly bean 4.1.1. She is able to beam websites to my galaxy s2 but I am unable to beam anything to her nexus. I also run into a problem when she tries to beam pictures to my galaxy s2. It comes back and says may device won't support large files. Any idea how to get it to work?
Bump

Have you tried going back to ICS stock and see if you still have the same issues?

whats the smoothest AOSP JB rom here for the GNex? I'm still in the process of rooting so I havent tried any. I just got the phone last night and my other was the NS4G. I see there are a few here but Im looking for people who have tried several.

Sprint Gnex, please? I like a pure smooth rom.
You're not going to get anything 100% stock considering you need to go to a custom ROM. Poke around the Sprint development section and see what people offer. Those ROMs are your only Jellybean option right now.

I have a problem with Galaxy Nexus for 40 percent charge. In this condition supply drain battery. Plz look my screenshot.
I'm tried because my phone is new and has this problem. I'm waiting for your answer ....
thanks a lot.

If it's new, just send it back and ask for a replacement. You shouldn't do anything out of the box

Your screenshot shows a non-stock battery icon. Did you recently flash a custom ROM? It might take a few charge cycles to get reliable battery stats.
yes
ihave this problem too!!!
when battry receive on 40% The battery will start to discharge
This may be a problem in the new version of android 4.1.1???
or
my battry is impaired
I have tested many stock ROMs such as 4.0.4 & 4.1.1 addition custom ROMs such as codename &.... but this not solved.

If you are sure that it is not a custom ROM that is causing this nor the hardware (including battery), my best bet is flashing a SuperWipe, which wipes EVERYTHING! If you are willing to do that, give it a try, but I can't recommend that this will work...
I have tried your solution but no change in my problem....
I'm very sad....

Well if super wipe doesn't work, it's most likely to be a problem with either a phone itself or the battery

Are you saying that you've always had this problem, also just after you bought it?

im wating for your answer............
Have you tried using different battery? Since super wipe did nothing, I would say it is either battery or the phone itself.
If using a different battery did nothing either, I hope you're under warranty, cuz I think it's a hardware problem

Hi everyone!
After not being around for a while since my nexus 4 died I bought a samsung galaxy SII (SGH-T989) used.
The phone is rooted (I never rooted any phone before) and it has a 4.2.2 ROM that is unstable in my opinion. Apps continuously stop responding.
Im familiar using the recovery and changing roms.
So I need to know what ROM could I install in the phone? (4.2.2)

Look in developer area there is a plethora to choose from, try them all is what I recommend. You will find one you like, everyone has different tastes. But 4.2.2 I recommend my Hellybean from 20130801
Goodbye SII
Just for general statistics, I burned the MB of my one week old galaxy sII, can't even get it into download mode. It's a hard brick.
Thanks for all of your responses..
