I've been trying a lot of different ROMs since rooting my Galaxy Gio and so I have seen a lot of boot animations, launcher, status bars and themes etc. I wonder what your favourite combination is?
My is currently:
ROM: CM7-based, so I can choose from a wide range of themes
Launcher: Holo Launcher (so I get an ICS look)
Theme: GingerBlur or NTSense
Keyboard: Either whatever comes with the ROM or TouchPal (for a Swype-style experience)
UI Font: Olney or Ubuntu, with Olney being my current favourite
ROM: Optimized stock based roms
Launcher: touchwiz/launcherpro
Theme: none/rom included
Keyboard: samsung keyboard[/QUOTE]

Rom: last build of Cyanogenmod of phiexz
Launcher: on the begining was Go launcher ex, but its laggy. So i prefer the Xperia S launcher, the smoother that i have use before.
Theme: Xperia S theme semi-transparent, Gingerblur and Ics
Boot animation: Iphone logo punched for the droid ^^
Keyboard: stock of cyanogen using the experia time, its really nice

Rom: latest phiexz's cm7 build
Launcher: Holo Launcher
Theme: Lunarui
Keyboard: cm keyboard
Boot animation: cm boot animation (i've disabled the boot animation in the settings)
ROM: CM10 by ericas
Launcher: Holo Launcher HD
Theme: touchwiz 5
Keyboard: stock cm10 keyboard
UI Font: wp7
bootanimation: Droid bionic bootanimation
ROM: Adrenaline v3
Launcher: Go Launcher EX (which, under Adrenaline, is not laggy at all
EDIT : I have switched to Holo Launcher, and I have to admit that in comparison Go Launcher is actually very laggy.
By the way, every single launcher I've tested is smoother than Go Launcher ...
Theme: default
Keyboard: SwiftKey
UI Font: Olney
bootanimation: default
No combination, only a rom: DebianDroid!
ROM: CM10 by ericas
Launcher: stock
Theme: stock
Keyboard: SwiftKey
UI Font: stock
bootanimation: ics boot animation
What's the best Ice Cream Sandwich launcher out there for the captivate glide ?(unrooted, running gingerbread 2.3.6) I've been trying to find one with the app drawer card stack animation running smoothly but haven't had much luck. I downloaded the Holo launcher but that was laggy in the app drawer. I heard that the apex launcher/nova launcher are MUCH better and bring the true stock ics feel to touchwiz but unfortunately we need ICS to get that. Any other alternatives??
Thanks
Holo Launcher has the card stack. but there's a lot of better ones on ICS>
i have been using apex launcher and love it.
Nova Launcher
Apex Launcher, hands down.
Apex w/ jellybean HD theme.

Nova launcher ! ! !:d
I'm using GoLauncher EX with a Jelly Bean theme, but I think I'm gonna try Nova and/or Apex after hearing from y'all.

I would say that I only care to use go launcher ex, but I've seen some pretty cool stuff out of awm pro and apex lately.

+1 for apex
Tappin' Typin'
The GO Team has begun to sneak some stuff into their other apps like GO SMS...and doesn't really have that many extra features for ICS.
Nova Launcher is great ^__^
Tried Apex and Nova, and I still seemed to like GO better.
Is there an ICS-style launcher that has the edit features ADW has? I like being able to easily change an icon/name/etc for the misc apps on my homescreen, and I don't think I'd give that up just to look like ICS.

Apex. I was a long time ADW EX user and Apex is essentially ADW for ICS. The only thing it doesn't have is the desktop dots feature that I liked to use to quickly navigate screens.

She, and no, I meant an ICS-style launcher that works in our ICS leak, not an ICS-themed launcher for older versions. Sorry if I wasn't clear about that, and thanks Simba, I'll give Apex a shot.
Umk.. my bad

Is there a touchwiz 5 jelly bean theme?
EDIT: When I say jelly bean theme I mean a touchwiz 5 theme for cm10 and aokp and all those jelly bean roms with theme chooser.
There's an add-on, where it includes few features from touchwiz, and the launcher. Best way to taste touchwiz, in my opinion.
Swyped on my Galaxy Nexus running AOKP with Franco Kernel, overclocked to 1.4GHz
Are u serious... they look the same.

Go to Playstore, type in Touchwiz 5. You will see a theme for AOKP/CM10 theme chooser.
Great theme, been using it since it first came out.

Made it easy for you.
I've been using TW5 themes on my GN and N7 for a long time. Probably my all time favorite.

Hi, is it possible to install and run ics apps (4.0.1+) like trebuchet launcher (cm9) and phase beam live wallpaper (really like it ) and ofcourse if the apps is supported armv6. I'm using adrenaline rom 3.1 ported by voetbalremco (real nice, thanks but bootanimation is not working since the latest update). If compiling is needed, i could try doing it myself

No you can't get trebuchet on Gingerbread .. and there is a gingerbread compatible phasebeam on market ..

Use HOLO LAUNCHER from market. Looks similar to Trebuchet.
for phase beam you can get it from here https://play.google.com/store/apps/...llpaper.icsclassic.lite&feature=search_result
and for trebuchet.you can use holo launcher, its not such smooth but its compatible with gingerbread to taste like ics launcher.

Phase beam live wallpaper from google play
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...pZC5saXZld2FsbHBhcGVyLmljc2NsYXNzaWMubGl0ZSJd
I get a message from google play "this application is not compatible with Samsung GT-S5660"
you can try holo launcher. it looks like android 4.
i'll try Holo Launcher
Thanks, i'll try holo launcher but it's just the phase beam lite which is not compatible
Hi all, i installed Super Nexus ROM on my S3. But i hate new Jelly Bean app animations. They are so iPhone style and laggy. Can somebody make a flashable zip so i can have ICS animations on Jelly Bean? Thanks in advance.

Use apex launcher.
Go to apex setting>Behaviour settings>Animations> ICS
I am using apex and switched to the ICS animation, just wondering will this affect the implementation of project butter? Cause I thought the improvements are only affecting the Jelly Bean animation

Apex Launcher does't have real ICS animations

Actually, i have Apex Launcher, and i tried setting animations to ICS. Problem is, that they are not real ICS animations.
Also, i have tried Nova Launcher. It has real ICS animations, but it has no app sorting in drawer by installation date.
