Can someone help me with this dilemma. I cannot figure out for the life of me why the heck Launcher Pro- plus will not work on my gNex running Jellybean. It doesn't matter what ROM I am using, it stays on my screen, then it stops and message comes up: "unfortunately, launcher pro has stopped unexpectedly"
I have tried everything : uninstall, re- apply, clear cache, the list goes on......
Emailed developer(no frkn response) IT WILL NOT WORK!
Anyone have a good insight on this?

Probably because the developer abandoned it ages ago and as such hasn't updated it.
Edit: Yeah ICS hadn't even come out last time he updated it.

Works fine here,CNA. maybie try the cracked version.

I don't think it can support 4.x. The project is closed since v0.8.6......btw, the stock launcher is much more cooler than LauncherPro

Yup. Dev promised a rewrite that never came. The same goes for his music player.
Find a different launcher.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
This launcher was originally based on android 2.1, the rewrite that was promised was supposedly going to be based on android 2.2... gee i hope that never comes out. It was great in the gingerbread days but its time has passed.
It's time to let that launcher go IMO.
It's a relic of GB and before.
Stock launcher is actually quite nice and Nova is as well.
Try apex launcher. The newest beta is rewritten using jelly bean code
I loved Launcher Pro back in the 2.3 and earlier days. Still works great on my watch and is the preferred launcher, but for my Nexus I have switched to TSF Shell.
Nah,i still prefer it above any newer launchers.its for people that need it simple and fast.like me

Anyways, try ripple lock. It's an ICS/Honeycomb style lockscreen that can be used on any ROM rooted or not.
Can always use no lock and get rid of the lockscreen. That's what I've been doing or using the fake fingerprint scanner

only problem with these theme's is that Nova and Apex is not colored. The Supernova one is nice but there are some issues with the colors here and there and again, Apex and Nova are not themed. Maybe he will do it. I asked if the guy could.. just wait and see.
I'm getting kinda fed up waiting for a theme to come out that I like so I think I might try and do one myself. Looks basically like hacking the apk's and redoing the gfx, which can't be that hard, just time consuming. Think I might do one like Elegance for AOKP which I liked but was a little incomplete imo.

I just downloaded and flashed this theme. Can you give me a heads up on what all is themed out so I know what differences to look for?

The nova and apex launchers come prethemed with this theme they r just not the newest version yet... also.. what issues aside from the keyboard long presses bother u?? There r no other known issues that have been reported..
Also theming is extremely time consuming and not quite as easy and simple as u describe .
If u r going to talk about color issues please be specific. When the time comes I will update launchers

Sorry updating this post. Sorry if anyone was replying to it.
This is a great theme. If I said something that gotten taken badly. I apologize, whether I like or dislike the colors does not matter. This Supernova theme is actually the most complete theme I've tried so far. It's great work and great that you made it work for LiquidSmooth given most theme's are just AOKP.

The buttons that Apex is using are white. That's the problem, I think you know that right? If they were theme'd green it would be great. If you would like any assistance in this, I have Apex and Nova Prime. Be happy to experiment.

It was just posted on the 12th? And I've only seen a post about the dialer but not the tw launcher. Thanks.
Yes, we've had this for awhile... probably like 2 weeks. The difference between the one we have and this one linked is that this new one can work on any ROM. The other one only worked on our device because we have the same TW framework, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Hasn't there been a port of the launcher since May? And it's said to work with all ICS roms also.

I have a fix for the lagginess in builds from the past week and a half or so. The culprit is the surface flinger library. It is the android compositing system and some changes recently made to it are responsible for the significant lag in recent builds. Most noticeable spot is if you hit the home button if you have the notification drawer down. It becomes extremely laggy without this patch. Scrolling is also less smooth whenever multiple things on the screen are being drawn. This fixes all those issues.
Just flash this in cwm or whatever recovery you choose. Should work on all cm10 builds and cm10 based roms like paranoid android.
Merged into cyanogemod on September 19th

Thought this might be another placebo thing but damn, this really works! The usual spots of minor lag like scrolling the app lists in the play store, gmail, play music are now smooth as eggs.
Good job, man.

Awesome, thanks!
Can someone point me to how to edit the stock ICS touchwiz launcher so I can change the homescreen layout (more icons)? Haven't really been able to find anything specific to the S3.
The only one I have found that does this is Drew's JB ROM and it doesn't like my phone so I have to stick with ICS until official JB comes out.
I'm running Fedora 17 if that makes any difference but I also have access to Win 7 and Linux Mint if needed.
Cheers!
