Try using bluetooth for music before buying anything. Sony have screwed up and bluetooth playback stutters like anything!

I've used my senheisers with a sony mw600 as i dont always use BT.
I have used a pair of sony Ericsson is800s which are similar to what your looking at, and I've been happy with them.

Mine doesn't stutter at all unless I am surfing the web and even then wired headphones stutter too.
Only the odd stutter over a wired connection, but blue tooth is terrible when listening to media. Stutters with music every few seconds. Videos can be unwatchable

Looks like, but my box isnt write droid, only Motorola, and the colors are black with some details in white, but maybe this one is a Verizon version, or something like that...
Its a bit expensive, but I never heard a better sound for a cellphone wireless headset(at least the headsets that I tested)...
Novero Rockaway
I just purchased a set of Novero Rockaway, RRP 55 GBP. I'll let you know if there's any stutter with these (will test with my Acro S, and my Mrs's Xperia S)

Does you think it works with our Arc? What about the Music controls ? Any other recommendations ?
I've got a MW600 which does the job perfectly plus it also comes in handy for listening to my house system without having to trape a wire across the room. =)
I am still using my DR-BT21G headset i bought when i had my K850i

MW600 looks good but still those wires and clips are little messy
I have MW600, but the earset that came with it had very bad sound quality. Now I'm using MW600 with MH-500, the bass-reflex earset from SE.
I had a the Sony DRBT100CXS that were great until I put them in the washing machine! And yes, it had music controls.

Funny, my SonyEricsson MH-100 that was bundled with Aino went through the washer as well. But still works fine and has music controls also. It didn't want to start in the beginning, but I left it in the charger for a day or so and it has been working fine ever since.
MW600 for sure, I have since I bought the arc, good sound quality.
using the sony ericcsson HBH-IS800 had them since launch used both with my old iphone 3gs and now the arc
arc connect mw600 don't display playlist .... help !

Because 2011 Xperia phones do not have the built-in Bluetooth function, which would send song title to MW600.
CyanogenMod ROMs have that feature, as that ROM's bluetooth modules are custom.
hic. i like stock rom (
...androi + walkman + cybershot...
I have a Sony DRBT100 CXS. Greater !
And works fine...
What about the MW1 ... is it worth to spend more money than to buy a MW600 ... because I wanna buy a new headset with BT functionality ...
Hi folks,
I just got a new Xperia S, having already a Omnia W. I wanted to get a good music phone and considering gsmarena showing a better rating for Xperia S than Omnia W, I got this one. I am using Phone's speaker, not headphone for playing few songs. However my Xperia S does not sound great and cannot be compared to OMNIA W at all. I played the songs simultaneously and certainly Xperia S is no match. The Xperia S seems a little jarring and as a result the vocals aren't as crisp and clear as Omnia W. It isn't too bad, just that I find it hard after having a omnia w. I have turned on XLoud on and off, no difference.
My Question: Anyone else observed audio issues with Xperia S? I have already seen few folks complaining about ICS, but it does looks like an inherent issue rather than a software. Or is gsmarena wrong to give a high rating for Xperia S? Any thoughts?
If you remove the backplate, the audio will get MUCH better. It is awful, though... low-end phones like the Galaxy Ace have better speaker sound than the XS.
they use proper tests
ur better of trusting them than youre own hearing
i say get a doc involved
The Xperia X10 Mini and X8 had awesome speakers and I think thats what your looking for
But...you are referring to music and when they do those tests they are not done through the Phones speakers but through headphones
Thats where the confusion is, slap in some decent earphones and you'll see the difference compared to your Omnia W

Theres no difference in what sound the test the loudspeakers with. the fact is theyre still testing it
wither it be music or a ringtone on a loop

The stock codecs are also a factor. Try Nuetron MP. The UI takes a bit of getting used to but I always end up going back to it for external playback qualities. Nuetron relies on its own software instead of the stock Android build. It makes a difference to not only my seasoned ears but to the average listener as well.

As title states, I have a Jawbone Icon HD headset which I really like but I would also like to get a good pair of earbud+mic that doesnt require the adapter. Can anyone who owns the original earbuds the XP came with detail the model # and or a mice alternative?
I have seriously purchased like 3 pairs of earbuds+mic only to be disappointed, mostly because I have to use the adapter or I get the "device not supported" notification.
Any suggestions on alternatives and the model # on the stock earbuds+mic that our phone came with would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
Anyone?

Or you could use basically any headphones with this adapter. I bought it myself, and it works with all headphones with a microphone/play-pause button.

Basically OMPT is the type of headphone jack that is in the XPlay. So if you got OMPT headphones, you won't need to use the adapter. Why don't you want to use the adapter? lol. Personally, I haven't owned any OMPT headphones, but I heard from a few friends that the XPlay's stock headphones are pretty decent.
If you still are going to buy standard headphones w/ mic, to use with the adapter, I'd go for these. I've owned them for more than 6 months, and they are probably the best. In terms of sound, mic, and build quality.

I bought it yesterday: wonderful!!!
The volume is so hig that my marantz amp warns me of possible peaks: gotta turn down the volume a little...
Have been using it for some weeks now: The audio quality is perfect and the range is impressive!
Thank You so much for posting this! I picked one up from MacMall for $44.99, coupled it with my LG G2 and Mazda's AUX, and it sounds way better than all the previous BT receivers I tried.

I bought this and it's terrible! Cuts in and out, and unusable. Perhaps I have a defective unit? I have it INSIDE a cabinet, with the door closed, but I thought that's ok for bluetooth? Using with an xperia z1 not 10 feet away...

Anyone who owns this still following the thread? I didn't touch this for a couple weeks and tried to use it again. It was fine at first, and then after about 30 minutes started getting choppy again. I tried opening the cabinet door to see if it would help. I was no more than 20 feet away and with line of sight. Could it be on the phone side, cpu can't keep up with the streaming? So confused. I have another sony bluetooth speaker unit (SRSBTX300B) and it's never choppy when I use with with my Z1. Still beyond dissapointed. What's worse is that my receiver (AVR 2700) has airplay support that is seemless, but absolutely non-functional with android. I got the BM10 in an effort to solve this and it's just causing more issues. It's as though the universe is telling me I should have stuck with Apple (FML).
Same here after 4.3 firmware
Probably this i related to Bluetooth problems in 4.3

I tried switching to 5.2Ghz wifi 2.5Ghz last night for my LAN last night, but it was still choppy. So disappointing. I will try my bluetooth speaker again to test whether it is the phone or the BM10.
This BM10 is such a boutique device, there doesn't seem to be much data about it on the internet.
requirements?
Haya people,
I know this is a xperia accessory officially, however upon reading some reviews
(used with non sony products) I bought one, and I am having connection issues. I am capable of connecting my S5 easily. However when i attempt to connect my nook HD plus it just wont detect it. I've pressed the button not pressed it, rebooted etc etc... I'm at a loss!
Please help! What does this need to stream music at its most basic? Can the NookHD+ do it?!? I cant seem to find much imfo for support, it just says xperia products...
I have 2 nook HD+'s 1 running CM11 and one running stock. neither can connect. but my S5 will...
some people may think this is impossible and some maybe think it"s possible .
I only want to ask some suggestion from the community about this..
i owned a Sony Ericsson W580i and i'm thinking to transplant it's speaker to Xperia ZL (before this, i already succeed to transplant this speaker on my Allwinner A13 tab and now i want to take the speaker back and place it on Xperia ZL). The speaker better than stock Xperia ZL speaker i think so.
what did you think?
was it a good, great or a bad idea?
