I need some help with remapping menu button on our phone to recent apps. Tried to look it up but the process is a little confusing for me.

What don't you like about the stock method of a long press on the home button to access recent apps?

Yes. After a while switching between apps gets annoying.

Do you guys think I'd get more replies in general?

Disable camera sound?

Been searching for a option to disable the sound. Can someone help? Thanks

Just go into system/media/audio/ui/remove the camera.ogg that you want gone there is usually a couple of them.

Or you can open camera...click on settings (might have to press menu first depending on which rom you're on) and scroll down to shutter sound. Then turn off

Two threads that I saw that address was http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475665 and the second one is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2605806 The first one has a replacement file for the stock email and the second one has replacement mod for the stock launcher. I personally use the second one and have had no issues. Hope that helps.
Why don't you unfreeze it, then uncheck the box to have it open when pressing the home button and then freeze it again? Haven't tired this b/c I'm using nova launcher.
Or use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2605806
