Homescreen issue - HTC One X

Hi there,
I recently sent my HOX for repairs and backed up using adb method. anyway, when I got it back, I had issues with the restore as it kept freezing numerous times but in any case, I've restored mostly everything to how it was before.
Only problem I have now is with my homescreen. I've set it up with the widgets the way I want them. But whenever I reset me phone, it always seems to revert to some other order, ie change which screen is my homescreen and add more homescreen panels again even though I've reduced the number. I'm not sure whats going on and how to sort it. Is there a way to change which is the main homescreen so I dont have to keep moving my widgets around all the time? And any idea how to get it to stay the way I set it up?
Cheers

[Q] Widgets disappeared and then came back later, but overlapped?

My phone inexplicably rebooted itself yesterday. After this, ALL of my Home screens were empty. So I went through the laborious process of adding everything in again (because I had no backup of home screens) and then at some point, all the original widgets suddenly came back, but behind the new widgets I'd added. So I ended up with widgets on top of widgets.
Has anyone else experienced this?
FYI I'm using LeeDroid 1.8c
Not like you, but I've seen widgets come back and overlap. Not really a problem though, you can just remove them.
have done... seemed like a weird bug, but not the end of the world...

New SDCard Best Practices?

I'm wondering if there is a known best way to swap out a bigger sdcard. I just used tar to back everything up on the old one and to put it all on the new one. That caused some weird issues though.
Car mode likes to pop up all the time randomly now
All my ringtones and alert tones changed to random music tracks
Most, but not all, of the apps that were on the card do not show in ADW
All my widgets are gone
My home screens are all "different", missing shortcuts and showing new ones.
This seemed like a fairly straightforward process, but the phone thinks otherwise. Any suggestions? Mostly for next time, since I've mostly gotten everything back to normal, although the last time I restored a nandroid backup, all my ringtones changed. Strangely, they changed to the same ones as before, so maybe it wasn't random.
Edit: I'm running CM7 if that makes any difference.
Well all you needed to do was just copy and paste them into folder on the pc. As for some of the widgets, music files, that's normal cuz the location may have changed. In the titanium backup settings, you make have to move applications back to the external/internal memory where you had it before, so it knows 'where' it is. As for the home screen, try going into the settings and do a restore, though it can't restore widgets, so you'll have to add them again anyway.

[Q] A few noob questions (or bugs?) with CM 10.1

I've been a longtime iPhone user, and got my feet wet a few months back with my first Android device, a Samsung Galaxy S3. I immediately rooted it, and tried CM 10.1, but I was in over my head, and I hadn't even used my phone enough to know what I wanted to do with it, so I went back to stock.
However, I've run into a few issues with Samsung's stock 4.1.1 ROM, and there doesn't appear to be any definitive answer to if and when they'll update to 4.1.2 or 4.2.x. So I decided to revisit Cyanogenmod.
I installed CM 10.1 (cm-10.1-20130304-EXPERIMENTAL-d2att-M2) last night, and I'm making my way around the system, learning a few things here and there, but I've run across two possible issues. I don't know if it's a bug, or if I'm just doing something wrong:
1. I can't seem to add the camera to the lockscreen as a slider shortcut. In the settings, it gets added just fine, I can see it there, and it saves. But when I go to actually use the slider shortcuts on the lockscreen, the camera isn't there. It doesn't matter which position it's in, either. There's just a blank spot where the camera shortcut should be.
2. The battery light -- I can change the color easily enough, but the option for pulse length is greyed out, and the option for pulse speed doesn't seem to save. When I tap "Test", it works, but once I tap "ok", it goes back to "custom", which seems to be a steady color, no blinking. Again, is this a bug, or just something that I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
The lock screen shortcuts I think you have to save before you exit that screen. There will be a floppy disk looking thing you need to press before backing out. I dunno about the notification pulse, it should be set once you've put in the value you want. Unless the ROM just doesn't actually have that functionality.

Ok, I just double-checked to make sure that I did, in fact, tap that save button. I did, but it's still not showing up. I tried blanking it out, saving it, and re-adding the camera and saving it, but it still won't show up.
One other "issue" that I just remembered, too... is there any way to get a counter of unread emails on the email icon, like the standard ROM does?
D'oh. You don't need to set the camera app to your luck screen shortcuts because all you have to do is swipe to the left from the right most border of your lock screen and it goes to the camera app.
I don't think there's an unread counter function in cm, but you can try googling it. I know nova launcher has that, but I've never seen anything like that for trebuchet.

Oh, I see that now.
Anyway, it seems to work after I reloaded CM 10.1. Originally, I was using TitaniumBackup to restore all system and app data from my stock Samsung 4.1.1 ROM, which I believe was causing problems (email was crashing constantly, for example). Once I restored only the non-system apps/data, everything seems to work as advertised (except for the counter badges, which seems to be limitation of Trebuchet).
Now that that's solved, I have another question....
When I go to make a photo a wallpaper image, I get a weird "plus" shaped resizer, which prevents me from using the whole image as a wallpaper. See the attached image. Is there any way to discard the side pieces, and just resize the wallpaper for a single screen?

Keyboard and Home screen wallpaper keep changing

OGP was getting laggy so I restored to factory stock. I was surprised though that the phone remained rooted, which I guess is good. I then installed FreeGee and went with CWM, same as it was before the restore.
Now, a few weeks later, I'm having some issues with the keyboard and the Home screen wallpaper. About once or twice a day (on most days), for some unknown reason, my keyboard will revert to the Android keyboard (AOSP) from the LG keyboard that I have it set to. When I "correct" it to the LG keyboard, sometimes the "Extended keyboard" option is checked and other times it's not (I always leave the extended keyboard checked). I also will occasionally get a notification on the pull-down that I need to select a keyboard.
The other issue is that the Home screen wallpaper also seems to change itself back to the default blueberry paper. This only happens on the home screen, and it does not affect the lock screen wallpaper. The wallpaper issue seems to happen at different times than the keyboard issue.
I've also had the phone reboot itself once or twice since the restore...both times while in its holster. Only reason I know this is that I hear the AT&T boot music playing in the background. Upon viewing the phone, it's verified that it is in fact rebooting.
Anyone else having these issues, or know the cause?

Guess nobody else is having this issue.
The spontaneous rebooting has stopped, as has the "extended keyboard" issue.
What remains is the wallpaper and default keyboard changing issues. They both change at the same time now, about once a week.
What I was able to nail down is that this happens after every time titanium backup (free version) does its weekly thing. I have no idea what setting(s) I may have enabled to cause this. Anyone have an idea they can help out with?
I have the exact same problem with my home screen wallpaper changing. Ive had my optimus since about july and the first time it did it was like 2 weeks after i got the device. Kept doing it even tho i would change it back and not do anything with it regarding the screen. Wasnt sure what to make of it but whatever. It didnt do it again until yesterday (24th) and it wouldnt stop. Had to change my screen back like 5 times, and i just woke up a little bit ago and it was different again. The phone was just laying there. Didnt touch it so i have no clue. Ive tried going thru the settings to see if maybe i had checked something or whatever and im pretty sure i didnt. Only thing i can think of is that is just a glitch with the phone. I like the phone too much so thats not enough to get me to wanna get rid of it.

Are you running Titanium Backup?
If all else fails, you can always restore to stock and reinstall your apps and other items. Then maybe you will be able to determine what is causing the issue.

Home screen pages have disappeared

All my home screen pages/panels have disappeared overnight, leaving just the Google news panel. I tried rebooting, but they didn't come back. Everything else (wallpaper, etc.) seems OK. I can probably reconstruct what I had set up, but it will be a major pain.
Before I consider a full restore from a backup, or try to recreate them all from scratch, can someone tell me where the screen panel data is stored and if it is possible to copy just that data from a backup?
OK, problem now fixed.
I don't know what happened to lose the home screen pages, but I had screenshots of them all, so recreating them wasn't quite as difficult as I'd expected. Odd how one can use these things many times a day, but still not be able to recall exactly how they're laid out. I guess it's the same as asking someone who wears a watch whether they can say whether it has numerals or hour markers and how they're laid out, without looking.
