wouldn't you need the s pen in order to really take advantage of that app

im really interested in the getting the camera apk to work. everytime i try to install it just ends up telling me it couldnt be installed.

It installed just fine without having to push it, after a reboot it showed up and has been working fine for me.
The first time I downloaded it I was having the same issues as you though.

Well no cause the s pen is an optional accessory to the gs3

If I tell s voice to navigate to something, it works fine. If I ask it to find a store or location then it will load on a black screen and eventually FC.
I know there is no support since these are pulled from an unreleased phone, but tht I would share my experience.

to the OP can you upload the S memo apk by itself so we dont have to download all 300mb...

None of these will work without a 4.0 Rom. That's why the parsing error.

Am on a 4.0.4 ROM...odexed...running FE16 stock kernel...
am getting FC AFTER S-Voice completes an action ie "turn off wifi" then it'll go unresponsive...and then FC.

This is the SMemo.apk, SMemoProvider.apk, and the related odex files. Enjoy.
I couldn't get SMemo to work with my E4GT on CM9 a4. The APK may need to be modified for our DPI or something. I'm going to poke around and see if I can't figure it out.
UPDATE: After poking around, I have found that the SMemo.apk uses the TW libraries, so those of us on AOSP ROMs are SOL when it comes to using the SMemo app. Anyone on a 4.0.4 TW ROM should be able to run SMemo by pushing the apk and the SMemoProvider apk to /system/app.

this apk has also seemed to have stop the screen flicker a lot of us have been having.. good post.. just hope this is the solution.:good:

I don't really see the difference between the stock keyboard and this one except the bottom row...but I'm typing with a lot less misspells. What's the difference, cause I can't see it...all i know is that I'm typing better

To uninstall… settings>app manager>find ics keyboard app> uninstall!

Newb question... i read on another thread that you install apk files by just emailing apk to yourself and installing it that way. ive done that but after its done reading/trying to install it gives me PARSE ERROR- THERE IS A PROBLEM PARSING THE PACKAGE.
am i doing something wrong???

This is straight from a Nexus so you know it's pure Google and nothing is added or tweaked. The market versions have had changes made and so I'm a little hesitant using them unless I have to

Hello XDA. I take no credit for this app. All I did was pull it from Jamisons bad ass ROM that I've been running.
This is the link that I uploaded to Google drive.
I've tried it on my brothers phone and my girlfriends phone and can confirm it works.
Installation Instructions:
1. Click link.

3. Make sure you have unknown sources checked.
4. Find the apk.

I can post screenshots here in a little. But its just a great music downloader app. It has top music charts you can download off of. makes looking for music really easy

You can replace by renaming the gallery. apk and placing in system /apps

This app is just lovely, so smooth even with the fact that it loaded about 3062 images I have, wish it had more options.

Once reboot your device... And do one thing remove sdcard and reinset that sdcard your problem will be sloved

Thanks but I figured it out. It was my camera and gallery. Been having problems with the Rom ever since I did a restore. Camera has been crashing or not starting up. This new gallery is working now thanks any way

Actually its easier just to go to manage apps/ disable gallery and that's it. Then album app will become default ....that way u don't mess up with the system.

I installed this app and found the interface very interactive... Bt i can't understand the importance of the eest of the tabs that is map and online...
If i go into online tab i see the attached screen and even if i try to add photos by pressing menu button it does nothing... It just brings ms back to the previous screen..
Can anybody help me out..

Try clearing cache and data for music searcher in app manager. Also did you restore data?

issue here too, browsing charts fine but I tried many common bands with no success.

Took it off my phone. Just keeps saying no connection which is bs my wifi is 65mbps on my phone the best you can get.

I found that you just keep hitting search and it will eventually work. Should only take 3-4 times max.
