Thank you

Any Idea ?

Just for ur information,i just tried my old jtag i've made for my old S1 i9000 on my S3 and it's work.
Sorry, i mean Jig.

jtag =/= jig
jig is small cut USB dongle that puts you in download mode, doesn't magically fix bricked phones.
also there are no phone specific jig , they all the same do same thing , an old jig from GS1 days will do the same thing, if you broke your bootloader jig will not help.
jtag is programming board, service centers have those, some people in repair shops got em also.

If you want a JTAG service for your phone I would recommend www.mobiletechvideos.com. I have used them before (not for JTAG service, but other services) and their customer service was excellent!

Whether it will work or not can't say for sure but the FIRMWARE between the 747 and 747m is DEFINITELY DIFFERENT. its not major difference but different and biggest part is different modem or broad bands which in some cases will brick a phones IMEI# to 0's when wrong firmware is flashed. Hope this helps. In your position its probably worth a shot anyways to get back to basic boot able working order then maybe u can recover from there but as for your question yes the firmwares are different

Like I said I can't say for sure for your exact scenario. To unbrick it I would say probably yes and at this point u have little to lose.

Do NOT use i747 to i747M
Do not jtag with RiffBox i747M using i747
EFS will be dead after - NO IMEI
will not even Boot after
Use RiffBox to read from a working one.
Full flesh is the only solution for now.

My Samsung Galaxy S3 Wont boot up

At first I was using (sgh-i747) Slim Rom 4.2.2 worked fine when I was in Canada. But currently I am in Hong Kong now but the networked was locked. So for some strange and stupid reason I decided to flash a international version for the GS3. Now the GS3 wont even boot up, cant even unbrick it using odin because when i plus my GS3 to my laptop the usb drive is not even sgh-i747..can any one plz help me unbrick it.
You can't unbrick.
If it doesn't turn in at all you have a hard brick and only way to unbrick is JTAG service.
Flashing firmware from international S3 will result in a hard brick

The same thing happened to me months ago, I flashed an international rom and my phone bricked. Just send in you're phone to your service provider and tell them your phone bricked while doing a software update. They'll send it to Samsung to fix it for free.

Bricked 811....Flashed 815 d20 by mistake! I'm an idiot.

So I totally screwed this one up. I installed the wrong KDZ files via TWRP on my 811. I installed the files for the 815 variant by mistake. Can this be fixed or am I up the creek without a paddle?

[Q] SGH-I747 with SGH-T999 (No-LTE) Bootloader. Can I Odin flash back to SGH-I747?

Hello everybody,
I have bricked my device once (SGH-I747 AT&T) by flashing wrong bootloader to my phone (It's a very noobish mistake, I know) and I had to pay someone to unbrick it by using a J-Tag but this person told me he was "unable to install SGH-i747 bootloaders" and now I'm unable to use LTE because I have a Non-LTE bootloader and modem. I've tried flashing T999L modems but no SIM card/IMEI recognized so I had to go back to T999 modem. The questions are:
Can I Odin flash SGH-I747 bootloader I747UCUEMJ2 without bricking my phone?
My phone is unlocked to use with any operator, will it remain unlocked after this?
My IMEI will be ok after this?
My phone information is:
Baseband: T999UVUEMJC
Bootloader: T999UVUEMJC
Android Version: Lineage 7.0.1
RIL Version: 3.0
Thanks in advance.
I have never heard of anyone being able to flash a T999 bootloader onto an i747.
Did the phone come from AT&T? Did the phone have the AT&T boot screen?
Did you verify the phone's model # in download mode before bricking?

Thanks for your answer.
Yes, the phone was AT&T, it also says SGH-i747 behind the battery and it was I747 model on settings. It had a 4.1 custom rom when my brother gave it to me. I tried to upgrade it to 4.3 but I didn't know about bootloader stuff and tried to flash a bootloader using twrp so I've bricked the phone. The only way to unbrick it was with j-tag and the person who did this told me he was able to do so with T999 firmwares so now I have a T999 no-lte phone. Would it be risky to change it back with Odin to I747 bootloader and modem? Is there any safe way to do this?
Thanks again.
You can't cross-flash bootloaders with Odin, TWRP, or CWM without the possibility of -rebricking.
Does the IMEI in the phone (dial *#06#) match the imei on the label under the battery?
I'm very surprised that the phone's bootloader had to be cross-flashed. Where did you get the bootloader that you flashed?

Yes, the IMEI matches. I do not remember where I got that bricker bootloader, neither the installed one (as it was not flashed by me). I can remember that when I received the phone after unbrick, it was SIM locked so I had to give the phone again to this person to fix the SIM-Lock. As far as I know, AT & T I747 is unlocked, so my phone totally became T999.
Any safe way to try this? Or will I be using T999 forever?
Thanks again.
Boot into download mode and confirm that the model # is sgh-t999. If it is, you're stuck.
I've readed that full back to stock might help but it's nearly the same process of flashing everything so I'm not sure...

It says T999 all the way lol. I think I'm stuck.
Thanks buddy.
Sorry, you are stuck with T-mobile ROMs.
Your post is the first oneI have seen where an AT&T s3 has been transformed via jtag into a T999.

As this is an old device, I will try to flash it back to SGH-I747 bootloader before buying another phone. If succeed or not I will tell you the results here. Meanwhile, I'll be enjoying my T999 :silly:
Thanks.

Is "SM-N920T" Firmware ok, on a "SM-N920A" Phone ?

Hey guys, just had a question. I have a SM-N920A phone. Will it brick my phone if i flash it through ODIN with "N920TUVS5ERC1" thats meant for the SM-N920T Tmobile Note 5. I hate the AT&T bloatware and would like to have the Tmobile Version of the Note 5. Just not sure if the Tmobile Firmware will brick my AT&T phone. Will it work ?
Thanks guys

It will not work. Locked bootloader for AT&T signed software. Maybe it will flash but virtually no chance it will boot. Even if it did boot, there most likely won't be any cell service.
Oh ok, i see. Yeah you problaly need the same basebands or something for the firmware to work. Well, thanks i appreciate it
If you did get it to boot, using an unlocked modem firmware would be the trick to getting cell service again.
Please, please, don't flame me if I bumped this as it's been inactive for a while... but I wanted to know if there was any progress with this?
I also have a Note 5 N920A that I'd basically like to make into a N920T. I understand that the bootloader is unlocked, but where keys exist, is there not a way to unlock it? I've been out of the development community for quite a while and will catch up a little but I hope someone would have time enough to explain a little.
I unlocked this phone and use it on T-mobile but it doesn't get service where the almost identical T-mobile version of the phone does...
What if I left the bootloader alone and just wanted to take full advantage of T-Mobile's LTE bands? Can I just flash an unlocked modem from _____?
What're the workaround options for this?
Please and thanks in advance
I've been searching for the answer to the same, if not similar, question. I'm trying to find a way or work-around to get T-mobile wifi calling to work.

Sprint SM-A505U Odin flash T-mobile SM-A505U1

I am thinking about buying a SM-A505U that is locked to Sprint network. Anyone know if I can just use ODIN to flash SM-A505U1 T-mobile firmware to get it to work on T-mobile? I am hearing from other people that the Sprint variant currently does not work on T-Mobile out of box and that they are paying for carrier unlock services to get it to work. While I know carrier unlock is an option, I also reads somewhere that it may be possible to flash the t-mobile firmware and that would essentially turn it into a t-mobile phone and lock it to t-mobile (Which I am Okay with). Where as a carrier unlock service would allow me to use any sim.
Anyone know if this is feasible? Is there an actual hardware difference between the SM-505U and SM-505U1? Or is it purely software?

Here is the link to firmwares. I recommend using the oldest one to minimize any major baseband updates.

Here is a good tutorial on how to use Odin. YouTube can also be helpful .
