I can not sync my contacts from Gmail to save my life. I've tried it from Contacts app, I've tried it from AT&T Ready2Go, I've tried it from accounts and sync, everything that I can think of. FRUSTERATED!!!!!! Help?
Have you checked in people>phonebook>gmail?

Can you still sync with Outlook contacts an calendar with these custom roms every one I have tried so far HTC sync on pc will not see it nor has there been a sync option on phone when hooking up with USB

When I restore my pre 2.2 Rom it works with HTC sync on my pc.

Kay im getting more irritated with my desire. I ONLY want my phone contacts on my phone NOTHING ELSE.
but every time i reset my phone i have to enter in my gmail account and it syncs my stupid email contacts from my gmail to my phone talk about a HUGE irritation...
anyone know how to stop this from happening?
Look under sync settings.
Click on your account and deselect gmail

After wiping or flashing a new Rom, I usually add my HTC Sense account under Accounts&Sync settings...
After doing that, Sense always automatically downloads and installs about 5-6 widgets from HTC Hub...
Is there a way to turn this off?
I had downloaded these widgets manually on another Rom, but didn't use them and even uninstalled them. Still, Sense redownloads them automatically on every new Rom... Kinda annoying.
Any help appreciated!

Skip putting in your gmail details at first boot.
Then untick the automatically restore apps option in one if the settings menus.
Then add your account details.

That works for the Google account, but I'm talking about the HTC Sense account here... (the one used for downloading widgets etc. from HTC Hub)

Is there any way that my friends photos don't change when i sync them with FB for HTC Sence, because they look very lq, and it's horrible to see ??
I've had it happen to me, fixed it by deleting my Facebook for HTC sense account and re-adding it. Then force a sync.

On the m7, an HTC Account was used to backup up apps, passwords, settings, and accounts once you setup the phone. I wondering if that is still there on the HTC One m8. I'm on the m8 port for the HTC One m7 and I an missing that feature.

HTC Backup is in the play store these days....
