Alright you x using folk lol. I have a one s
You've got cm9 from tripraver etc. What camera does it use?
Just curious as we have cm9 with issues regarding the cam.
I'm asking is your cam the ics cam app?
It'd be good to know how he got it working alright without source...anyone have any ideas?

no idea as i haven't tried trip's CM9 yet. i'd guess it's not using the sense framework (unlike MIUI) hence no HTC camera, but the AOSP one.
why don't you ask here?

It's using the stock CM9 camera, Trip claims to have hacked camera drivers himself and built them from source - make of that what you will.
What is the most stable sense 4 or higher ROM available for our phone? Im wanting something smooth and relatively bug free. Any help would be appreciated.

Sabsa Prime is smoother/faster than the others posted. It also has more updates to fix things.

Virtuous Infinity is running Sense 4.0 and Sabsa Prime is running Sense 4.1. They are both pretty stable, but the difference is Sabsa Prime is up to date on updates. I use Sabsa Prime personally, so that would be my recommendation.
Same here...Sabsa is my driver.

Sabsa / trickdroid
Sabsa is good and they keep up with updates, I just tried trickdroid 4.0 which was really smooth as well. Trickdroid offers a tweak aroma installer which is barely functional but you can get some extras there too like brightness control by sliding notification bar.
Virtuous has a stable kernel that has been used in many roms. Try all three and see which one fits best

Are you sure that sabsa is a full sense 4/4.1 rom? According to other threads Sabsa is a lite version of sense and new features are ported to it when working etc.

TrickDroid V.4.0.0 and 4.1 full sende & full widget
Except that Trickdroid is very laggy when compared to Sabsa Prime.

I didn't mention which was Full Sense or which was lite Sense. But you got a point on that part. I haven't personally tried out Trickdroid, but if you want a full Sense 4.1, then try that out too. Sabsa is a mix, but it runs flawlessly on my phone.

Sabsa Prime and ViperDHD
Sabsa Prime and ViperDHD are both very very smooth and fast roms. I tested Sabsa Prime over weeks and I was very happy with it. Now I changed to ViperDHD cause of the big tweaks which are very nice. I dont see any bugs for now, it seems to be the new best Sense rom
I've found that all Sense 4.0/4.1 ROMs have little quirks to them. ViperDHD is probably the best out right now. I gave it a try, but to me all Sense 4 ROMs have this blurry look to them (since they've been downscaled from higher res screen devices).

+1:good:
Sabsa Prime.
It is the most stable and has no bugs as i know.
Trickdoid is okay, but has too many little bugs for me.
Venom DHD.
Fast, heavy tweaks, beautiful, fast, full sense 4.1

.ViperDHD. it is freaking legendary, It blew me away. All the things in the post above me are so true. I definitely recommend this one!

I think ill stay with Sabsa until they fix the camera bugs in ViperDHD. I use the camera all the time, and I prefer to have a widescreen clear photo.

Camera is full fixed now, just we've not the 2way feature coz it's unstable.
To fix the camera u've to flash this patch after the rom (will be integrated in the next release).
Seeing that we now have a jellybean AOKP and an almost stable CM10. Which do you prefer?
Just look at the downloads, most people prefer CM10.
That's because cm10 has been out longer. I personally like both. I'm asking others what they like about each

That's it. AOKP appeared in this forums two days ago.
I flashed the ROM and it's amazing. In my phone goes faster than CM10. But it has some little bugs. I'm waiting to ak0r, he will upload a clean build in a few days.
Cm10 has bug in camera,. Sometime Camera gets blurred like Thats why I reverted back to HTC stock ROM.
Has camera bug free cm10 released? If yes than pls some one give me the download link of Stable CM10 with latest Gapps supporting it...
For cm10 use miui camera to get ride of artifacts in the camera. Beside that there's the YouTube bug and small delay with lock screen but its pretty much stable.

As in the topic. Maybe MIUI 2.10.12? Maybe some other? Which do you recommend?
I've tried almost every non-sense rom, and my two favorite is RobotoMOD or MIUI v4 2.8.10, because they are the fastest/smoothest.
CM9, CM10, Paranoid Android 2.54, Speed Droid would be good too, they were working fine, but they were laggy compared to Robotomod or MIUI.
Robotomod could be better too, for example if Int2Ext4+ or anything else (beside Link2SD) would work.
@up
I used MIUI, and now I'm using CM9 and I don't see that MIUI stood out as fast.
I've used MIUI for a month straight and no lags except the known bugs. I am currently using cm9 because of hq videos.
Go for MIUI coz of the interface and the speed.

Miui its so different and cool.

i really dig MIUI the snapseries one though. i'm using paranoid android right now though, and i love it. i think its all up to your personal taste.

Miui for me
tbh i used all three and i LOVE THEM ALL, i would stay on miui but its out of date and the themes dont apply right sometimes. i just stick with cm9 for speed and stability and a uniform look. as far as lag try using some of the memory tweaks and v6 then change your launcher
what is the best ics rom ?
The fastest is ics aosp by maclaw studios but it has some glitches the other option is to try jellaxy's cm9. Idk much about ics thought maybe theres a better rom.
