I have read that the new Google plus app would include video chat in hangout. Anyone have this?

It has it but you can only join hangouts initiated by other people, you can't start one from the phone
Thats correct...and ridiculous on Google's part. Not that it matters, no one is on Google+. I use it and invited a few people but mostly people don't care because its only relevant if a significant percentage of people you know are using it...

Its not an issue for any of them. Google just made it that way. Im sure that an update in the near future will allow us to initiate a hangout from our phones.

Been getting this sign-in error in notifications for past few hours. Even though I'm signed into all my Google apps, and everything seems to be syncing alright. Still can't get rid of it. Anybody else getting this? Here's a screenie

If you go to settings, apps, all, open "Google Account Manager" and disable it, that will stop the notifications. Its a temp solution till Google fixes it. (its Google Now...)

I changed accounts in Maps, as I started getting this error just after the update. Switching to my second account, then switching right back fixed it for me.

Looks like everyone everwhere is getting this error. Just looked at Google and Android's twitter @ replies, and people are scathing. Lol. Hope it gets resolved soon.

Well.. looks like my Google now services came back up, and the notification error went away, don't know how everyone else is but should go away soon.

So can't tell if this is a bug in a new update or something basically every time I don't use the Youtube app for more than 5 mins it signs me out. Then when I open it Youtube signs me in for another 5 mins. Very annoying any help is greatly appreciated NOTE: Screenshots from EVO buts its also happening on Note ii
I found out it signs me out after I end the process (like closing it in multitasking)
Things I did to try to fix this ..
Force stop Youtube and remove all user data/cache
Completly factory reset without backing up any system apps or anything to do with Google
Removed Google account, and add it again
Wipe Just Cache
Use a modified Youtube app
I've got the same problem and would love to have a solution. I use YouTube a lot and this has been a very frustrating bug.

Its the latest version of Youtube I used 4.2.x I believe, and that fixed looks like I wont be updateing until theu release the fix

I've been trying to update several apps here and for some reason it is not working.

I don't think there is a known fix for this that works for everyone. Actually it is possibly an issue on Google's end. http://productforums.google.com/d/msg/mobile/2UKJ7ZyIav0/jHQD4F7QAhAJ <-- that thread has quite a few things you could try, as well as more links to look at.

And it was surprisingly easy to fix, just remove, and readd the Google account.

I downloaded the update but nothing changed I cant send text. I used the leaked nexus 5 apk everything worked fine besides the bugs.

I am also experiencing this issue, no sms option. Play store says I'm updated to newest version but when I open the about menu in the app it shows that I'm on the old version

New versions are slowly pushing out through playstore, not everyone all at once. Patience or google for the latest APK version manually.
Its been some days I never seen an app udate take this long. Do you anyone have a link to the apk because I always seem to end up with the nexus 5 apk with the bugs?

I deleted it just google the hangouts apk there should be atleast 2 to 3 links with it to download
