It claims to be a Sprint 1800mah extended battery for $7. Some of the reviews I read sounded great but reviews can easily be skewed, So I am hoping someone here has some information for me
If I were you I would just go with the anker 1700mah ones. There are a lot of fakes on Amazon/eBay that claim to be OEM. The ankers are cheap, and reliable.
Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking but I.figured I'd ask first thanks

And if you're lucky, it'll actually be as good as the stock battery. Look around the net for tests. Most 3rd party batteries are sh*t.
Honestly, I wouldn't trust a third party battery that claims to be much better. You're far better off (and less likely to do damage) just finding some battery saving techniques.
I believe that at some point you should be able to get OFFICIAL extended battery cases for the SGS II, however. This would be a safer and more sensible alternative. See here.

Thanks, I was aware that those batteries were sh*t, but just wanted to check if someone had any experience with them.
Anyway, I'll stick with original one.
Thanks once more...

Hi,
I bought one on ebay, and it was s..t
It claim to be a 1800 mA but in fact it was a 1350 mA (written under the sticker)
The seller told me it was a mistake from his supplier...
There are brands like momax which sells for half the mugen. So are mugen extended batteries worth it?

i have looked at Momax site many times, the only battery's they sell for the galaxy s2 are 1450mAh and 1650mAh there not extended battery's considering the battery that comes with the mobile is 1650mAh.
As for Mugen they offer 1700mAh and 3200mAh..
I think Mugen is the way to go, unless Momax can come up with somthing better.
Bought something like this for 9$:
http://www.spider-foot.com/3500mah-backup-extended-batterydoor-cover-for-samsung-gti9100-galaxy-s-2-ii-910eb-p-962.html
got it 2days ago but havent time yet to test it Free sheeping to any country, I had 2 other battier for SGS1 and they were working fine, we will see how is this one.
Bought it mostly for Croatia becasue leaving today for 2weeks and need some more power for beach, shooting movies, listening to music etc Will report back how its working
I'll be getting the 3200mA battery from Mugen once its out, they are sending me one to do a review on, so I will let you know how my experience is. I tend to think with batteries its better to buy them from places with better reputations - how well regarded is Momax?

So I actually checked my battery just to make sure what it was and I found out I was duped by Sprint! So I have a 1500 instead of an 1800, but the thing is I was actually getting decent battery life. How much will the extra 300 mAh make a difference?
How should I go about changing my battery to an 1800?
People who have both said they did notice a difference between the two. Not much, but noticeable.
haha, you made me double check my battery but I do have a 1800 mah. Obviously your battery will last longer with an 1800mah vs 1500mah but exactly how much, I do not know.
If it really matters too you, you should try convincing sprint to send you a 1800 battery. or you can always check amazon. 1800 E4GT batterys come out to around $25

Hey I was thinking of getting some extra batteries. Seems it is now 3 batteries + charger for 11 bucks:
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/view...cmd=VIDESC&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=42795690575
Have you, or anyone, used these? Are they official Samsung batteries as shown in the picture? If not, how is the quality? Would love to hear from some people. Sorry for slight OT...

Try calling sprint or going to a sprint store and see if they will do anything about it. There's a post somewhere in the forums and i think people had success getting a new battery from sprint.

Alright, as long as they work as good as the OEM ones, I'm fine with that...
9 bucks is worth the risk, I'm sure they will get me out of an emergency at least once..

Hey everybody, I googled extended batteries for the gs3 & came across a mugen branded extended battery. I have never heard of it till' today, & have never purchased from them before, do any of you guys have one, or know someone who does? I'm looking for an extended battery but without all the bulk, any recommendations?
I actually have this.
I can't really whether there is a difference. I feel it is about the same or slightly better. Is there an app that can measure? If so, I can let you know.

check out my thread with the anker battery tested and proven more than stock...i dont want to talk down on mugen as i have not used their battery on this phone.
isn't this battery 3.7v while stock is 3.8v? i don't think you will get much benefit from this battery over stock.

I don't know what link you are referring to. I bought it straight from mugen.
My advise is just get a replacement stock battery. I think the additional amount doesn't justify it.
I just can't tell the difference.

Quick question...
It hardly holds its charge and often doesn't fully charge overnight when I've woken up in the morning.
If this sounds like a dead battery to people, what I need to know is how do I go about finding a legitimate battery online?
Are the ones on these accessories shops online any good?
Help, please!

You totally helped. And, yes, I was hoping to get an extended battery as well I just can't have it be thick or else it won't fit in my case. I guess anything over 1400maH is fine. I hear the batteries by "Anker" are supposed to be the best? Is that true?

Just wanted to configrm - they are awesome indeed.
I've upgraded mine to a 1650mAh Mugen Power within the last week. It's new and the discharge curve is epic, especially compared to my stock battery that stared to bulge and hold about 8hrs worth of charge. This thing easily lasts me all day, so far. It will happily extend the life of my device as I upgrade to the Nexus 4 in the spring and pass this down to my mother.

I have the Anker 1550ma, but didn't know there was a 1900....does that require a new back battery cover, or is is the same size battery as the 1550?
A 1900 would be awesome. My original battery hardly lasts through a workday anymore.

I just recently shipped the anker battery 1550 mah. From what I see the battery is better than stock battery. I'm just curious, but how much hours are you guys getting with your battery ( from full charge to 2 %)?
