Change lock screen background?

Hey, I recently added the Chimera theme for my Cyanogen 4.0.4 modded Magic (I'd highly recommend people checking it out - awesome theme and allows you to have up to 10 home screens, you can choose how many from the menu: http://alldroid.org/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=44). The only problem is that it came with a hideous lock screen background that I want to change or at least revert back to the normal lock screen (the screen you get immediately after you wake up the phone - it normally has the time, the network you're with and the words "press menu to unlock").
Does anyone know if there's anyway of flashing a new lock screen background to the phone, or is it going to require the whole theme to be recooked?

Yeah, I heard Unfortunately the cyanogen mod isn't based on hero's so I don't have that option.

you can use LockBot Free to do it. its easy to find on the Android Market.

Must first extract from zip then install apk.
If you have or had ANY swype installed prior to downloading this you MUST remove any and all current Swype before installing. Look in 3 spots.. Data/app ; system/app ; data/data remove any Swype.apk and any com.Swype.whatever
Here is the tricky part, at some point you need to goto menu/settings/laguage & keyboard and check the box next to swype. Reboot. Afterwards goto a text field and select "Input method" . Reboot. Then try it out!
(CAUTION , my tutorial to install may suck so you will probably need to reboot again or something to get it. just be persistant!!!)

So you have installed cm7 and don't like puke green?
CM7.1-RC1 from puke green to frost blue and icy white.
Flash in recovery just as you did the cm7 rom, after wiping cache and dalvik cache (NOT DATA)

menu/settings/cyanogenmod settings/interface/notification power widget/indicator color/ then pick a blue color you like
Transparent statur bar on lockscreen & notification bar
(sometimes ADW fights this one so unless you have already figured it out, it wont work most times)
I tried to remove as much of the puke green as I could (almost done)

Got a few requests for this so here it is. NINE (9) lockscreens for deodexed 2.3.4 JVP firmware. This is 100% STOCK! The ONLY thing extra I added is the CRT animation. This does not have overscroll or an accurate battery mod. It's STOCK.
I was too lazy to do the Settings.apk for this build. So this uses birgertime's EDT Tweaks app which can be used to toggle the music controls as well as set a custom app for Miui and 4-Tab. One thing though:
On AOSP and 4-tab lockscreen (didn't test the others) it says "no network" instead of "charging" and "enter PUK" instead of "fully charged".

It also did this on the Star Wars lockscreen. I thought I'd caught all these random misplaced text but missed this. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Zip in OP has been updated and this has been corrected. I also re-posted source with these corrections as well.

just read better next time

Well, i found 2 bugs, on Android lockscreen, phone doesnt vibrate when you unlock your phone (slide to the right), same when you put phone on Normal, but on Vibrate it does, i wouldnt say this, if others wouldnt vibrate when doing this, but others do
And 1 more bug, try to unlock MIUI Lockscreen by slide down/up and have finger on the "SMS", for me, it just freezes, but it does work for Phone and Unlock (left and center)

I don't think I have "solved it" but the battery seems to be good so far, however I have only been running this build for 20 min.

what cpu frequency is fast and stable?

sense-based jelly bean customization

I have some questions about the sense-based jelly bean custom roms (like 3.14 based)
- is there any way to have enhanced quick settings in the status bar again ( either horizontally or vertically ) ? so I dont have to press the settings icon first each time to access the settings? I searched for something like that but couldn't find >_<
- is there any tool thats like CDtool to customize the rom ( battery , network , wifi icon , ...etc)?

AFAIK, we'll just have to wait till someone mods it and makes it available to public.
