Please, I need help with a compatible headset.
Does anyone know if the nokia headset, WH 701, is compatible with Xperia ARC?
It has advance music, volume, and is quite comfortable.
I had a Nokia N8, and this headset is very good, if it is compatible I'll buy one for use with the Xperia ARC.
Thank you.
Just try it first..
I think when we using different manifacture, It suppose to be not compatible..
But I'm not too sure..

I have the arc with ice bean 4.1.3 and arcknight 3.5.
Is there anyway for Samsung s2 headphones (with hands free) to work? Just says accessory not supported
Any patches etc?
Thanks for any replies

Since it's a Samsung earphone, I'll expect it to work with a Samsung phone rather than a Xperia phone.
As for thr patch, shouldn't you ask on the Ice Bean thread rather than Q&A?

I wouldnt hold your breath waiting for a patch mate....
Best off sticking to OEM kit if you want stereo headphones with hands free....

Go here:
BEATS FOR GALAXY Y
i'd suggest not installing beats,
it does not make the music sound good,
its just a equalizer,
and DSP manager is better,
beats is just some sh*t HTC is making to market their product,
Right DSP manager is better
In creed Rom its built.
But my personal opinion beat or dsp both not work great..
They both are not more than super equalizer..
They are not going to make your device super hero or your sound is not going to become epic.
Without them you will not feel any bad..
Just ok they are
we all should be polite enough to press thanks for anyone who helped US.
Dear all,
I have a doubt about the speaker of HTC one X, because when i on outside, the sound is very low and can´t hear well.
Are there any program or tweak for this?
Thanks
Got same problem...

Send it in for repairs. My One X came out of the box with a soft speaker. I didn't know about the problem, until I sent it in for other (Battery related, non-speaker) repairs. Turns out my speaker needs replacement too. Its now much louder. Kudos to HTC for checking the phone for other faults instead of just fixing reported problems before sending it back.
I use PowerAMP to gain some extra volume

Try any other rom and check if it's related to hardware, I tried the rom for 2 days and no such issue even before the OTAs

Tnx for message, gonna try that
I have this on viper and miui but it only affects my beats headphones. It's a bit hit and miss to but I believe it's do to said roms framework changes as trickdroid ect are fine.

Looks like its hardware related. revert back to renovate... think there's some dust in headphone jack
What if the headphones work fine with any other Romand any other headphones work atm. The beats headphones don't work on certain roms for me.
It's very strange.
