Apex vs AOKP

Hey guys
I'm was just wondering which are the main difference between this two roms?

Hey i mean they're both great, and everyone has his favs but i like AOKP even more than apex because there exist even more settings to perfectly fit to your sense. Little differences do exist but nothing really groundbreaking(installed launcher, more/less updates... )
Its a hard choice but your cannot make much wrong

i went from apex to aokp and for me aokp is much better with all the customization and updates. The dev for apex is pretty busy and doesnt get a chance to update his rom as much as aokp.

I always liked Gummy for battery life but he is using the 4.0.3. Right now I'm using Axi0m and it's like AOKP but MUCH smoother.
Battery = Gummy
Smoothness = Axi0m
They all pretty much have the same features of AOKP now, which makes AOKP last on my choice list. Axi0m is a 4.0.4 hybrid, which may contribute to the speed. I use scrollable Twitter and Facebook widgets and Axi0m is the only rom that doesn't cause shutter when I give them a hard flick (top to bottom, etc). Just my opinion!

I been using Apex for the last week and I had zero reboots, crashes, nada!
Running really smooth with nice tweaks and great battery life.

Touchwiz 5 JB theme?

Is there a touchwiz 5 jelly bean theme?
EDIT: When I say jelly bean theme I mean a touchwiz 5 theme for cm10 and aokp and all those jelly bean roms with theme chooser.

There's an add-on, where it includes few features from touchwiz, and the launcher. Best way to taste touchwiz, in my opinion.

Go to Playstore, type in Touchwiz 5. You will see a theme for AOKP/CM10 theme chooser.

Yes but people have reported that there are some missing Samsung framework that makes it look weird

(Request) Inverted apps for CM10

Hey guys as the title suggests does such a thing exist? I've found a couple for aokp but they send me into boot loops.. I'd love to have a fully inverted dark and cyan theme for my gsm nexus with cm10. Like the look that black bean has..
Can anyone point me in the direction of a download link? I'd prefer a flashable zip I'm not too savvy with adb and theming by pushing etc

ICS app animations on Jelly Bean?

Hi all, i installed Super Nexus ROM on my S3. But i hate new Jelly Bean app animations. They are so iPhone style and laggy. Can somebody make a flashable zip so i can have ICS animations on Jelly Bean? Thanks in advance.

Use apex launcher.
Go to apex setting>Behaviour settings>Animations> ICS

I am using apex and switched to the ICS animation, just wondering will this affect the implementation of project butter? Cause I thought the improvements are only affecting the Jelly Bean animation

Actually, i have Apex Launcher, and i tried setting animations to ICS. Problem is, that they are not real ICS animations.
Also, i have tried Nova Launcher. It has real ICS animations, but it has no app sorting in drawer by installation date.

Are there different phone apps for 10.1

I've got 10.1 on my T989 but I've never liked the stock phone app. Particularly when you click on "favorites". I like the Touchwiz or even Sense UI on the phone app. Are there options to change this without a whole new launcher (if that even does it) or theme?

Look for an alternative phone app in the Play Store or go to a TW rom.

Or try a theme

AOKP B6 NOS'D UP

try ex-dialer on the market its pretty sweet its like the miui dialer and you can have all the miui themes for the dialer and no launcher switch https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.modoohut.dialer&hl=en

Crystal 2 theme is the best IMO

try a theme....one of my favorites is: Bluemint theme v6
