Hi guys,
This is my ROM for the Google Edition ROM for the Galaxy S4 (should work on most variants as long as they have the same hardware as i9505) that I have built from the Android 4.3 zip which was uploaded. I have deodexed, zipaligned, added SU (the app is there but root isn't currently working) and also added the boot animation so it's working quite well.

1) Root device (suggest using Chainfire's CF-Root)
2) Install a custom recovery (suggest using Philz recovery)
3) Wipe Data/Factory Reset
4) Wipe Dalvik Cache
5) Install Google Edition ROM
6) Reboot

I prefer sticking with the original GE Kernel and just using a static ip.

Cool thanks for reply I'm still downloading as I'm using my phones data 321MB through can't wait oh faux kernel is meant to fix wifi
I have tried and tested the IR Blaster (using Smart Remote for Galaxy S4) and I can confirm that it DOES work, I have updated it in the 2nd post as well.
Found WiFi fix! Put that file content to system\etc\dhcpcd.

@HazAnwar: In the second post, what are you referring to with the hover touchscreen? Are you referring to the Samsung feature Air gesture? That is a TW feature and will not be in this GE version or in AOSP. Only in TW.
Also:
Can I incorporate the wifi fix directly into the rom before flashing? The fix linked in post #3, that is.
Why S_DooMLoRD_AdvStkKernel_FW-200_v2 does not have init.d support?

Guide for newcomer to flashing
i assume you know how to flash kernel and know what is bootloader and recovery
first , download the ROM, KERNEL , from provided links
Connect your phone and Flash the KERNEL [in Bootloader] you should see "Fastboot usb" there, open cmd, type " cd C:/your fastboot file location" like mine is "cd C:/Android" Then type
fastboot flash boot kernelname.img
then reboot to recovery and flash ROM , , MODS( if u want)
you are done reboot and enjoy

This happens, when the phone needs all of the configured Swap Space - so the size is not sufficient in comparison to your usage of the phone. Just raise your Swap Space or configure a second Swap Space on a different partition - the new Aroma even supports Dual Swaps as well as Triple Swap.

AFAiK Data and system swap usage doesnt get used , its there for backup incase Cache swap is full

I dont think crossbreder work with turbo boost .. but u can try . About the Super SU . I don't have much clue . As I'm not a good porter

Hello Everyone... I got a Valuable App for you... I have just modified another app and made it for Double Tap 2 Wake feature...
Remember you must need Custom Kernel that have Double Tap 2 Wake like Cody Kernel, AngsaKernel, Carbon Kernel...
(You can try on other devices and kernels too. But make sure ur kernel have DT2W feature)
Tested on Redmi 1S

One cons:
If you choose any feature from the apps like
Double tap 2 wake or double tap 2 music
After the restart phone that feature get disabled automatically... after reboot it should be enabled.

Nope. No need to do it again and again. Because there have a feature on app that creating the init.d script to enable DT2W automatically that we select option...

I think init.d problem or any other. Because I'm on CM11 and Carbon Kernel. All working fine... No need to do it again and again. I have tested Cody Kernel and AngsaKernel on CM11 and them also working all fine...
Don't know what happen with me.

I have no any perfect idea about kernels for other roms. But if there have a feature DT2W on your phone or kernel so this app will work...

Try to find a kernel that have DT2W for Mokee Redmi 1S... I hope there have. So After that this app will work. This is a only a App that giving you to enable and disable that feature...

I want to make the screen color settings manually. I need a kernel for this but im using eu miui rom and guyver kernel does not support miui... How can i manually adjust the display color?

I think first u must be rooted. Then download kernel audiutor(root) from playstore. Open the app and there is setting about colour adjust . If you don't see anything like this means that don't support this feature
