SGP 45% OFF Clearance Sale & Free Shipping - Galaxy S II Accessories

I'm using DROID Incredible 4G LTE for now, but I used to come here to read a lot of threads when i had my s2. So sad that my device is not popular enough to talk about things alot. :crying: Anyways, since i don't have my gs2 anymore, I don't need anything, obviously. But, i think it's great to share. As the title says, it's 45% off on some Galaxy S2 stuff. I have used Linear Pure, and it was pretty decent. I wanted to buy neo hybrid also back in time, but it was too much for me buying 2 cases. Each one is not cheap at all for a case + shipping. I think it's such a good deal if you still have the device.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=me=A2SFKRF5TPZMT5&field-keywords=galaxy+s2+case
If you buy it from Amazon, it says $0.00 shipping.
I have seen some deal posts on other forums, but please remove the thread if it violates the rule.

thanks :victory:

Love it!

ooooh thank you! I dont have the s2 (it's all about the s3!! ^^) but my younger brother has one, since he refuses to switch until the new note 2 comes out. Think i'll get something for him since it's his birthday soon. He doesn't have to know it was on sale =p

omg i can't believe you're being a cheapo! Just buy me the best one!

Pity Hybrid EX black is not available, would love to sand another one so it suits my needs for a next year But still, Hybrid cutout silicone coupled with black EX sanded plastic gives what I want... and I still have EX silicone and gray plastic as a spare...
Maybe some photos will follow in due time, I have to find my old i8910 so to take the snaps, my kid took our digital camera and his SGS2 on vacation.

Isn't it this one? http://www.amazon.com/SGP-Samsung-G...SFKRF5TPZMT5&qid=1344570265&s=generic&sr=1-15

Is that free shipping to the UK? Lol

just found a supa good deal...

well...I guess it's all relative what a "good deal" is, but I got married on friday, graduate school in 3 weeks, and have yet to find a full time, salaried position with benefits. I'm currently turning a wrench in a shop as much as I can on weekends to make some $$, but the GI Bill has helped wonders.
In short, I stay strapped for cash. Never broke, but always lookin for a deal

Came across this just now, and didn't even hesitate to order. I figured even if the whole package sucks, I paid under 10 bucks for expedited shipping. If it works out, I've got a case til I decide which nice one to get (OB or Seidio prolly...) and car charger (already have a decent screen protector). For 10 smackeroos, I'll take that risk
Either way...not trying to advertise, hope this isn't interpreted as such, I just figured this deal had to be shared!
Looks like a good deal to me. I don't like cases though. I like my.phone like my women... naked. The captivate is too pretty to hide behind a case.

I got this one last week, will be writing a reveiw soon. The case is good, the charger is ok but is not for a Captivate, the bag says is for a Motorola Razr and the screen protector can't say nothing because I am using a different one.

thanks for the info. that's pretty much about what I expected. I wasn't gonna worry about the screen protector, as I, like you, am using a different one, mainly i bought it 'cause i figgered it might work out to a cheap, halfway decent case, and a bonus charger

Zaggfolio for the Galaxy Tab 10.1

This just came out for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. If you were waiting for the Samsung bluetooth Keyboard, I would strongly urge you to look at this model. The method that Zagg uses allows you to use the case in a tilted position in bed - which is so much more convenient.
I ordered it on Wednesday, received this afternoon and am typing on it right now. It's a really good design with no noticeable flaws. Check it out on Zagg's website...

I was just reviewing this. It looks very nice. I just ordered one.
I think you will like. It is very similar to the zaggfolio for ipad 2 case so you can review the reviews on that. I'm very glad that Samsung sat on their hands regarding their Bluetooth case. This one is so much better in my humble opinion.

It actually looks quite nice.
When closed does the screen touch the keyboard?
I just picked one up from Best Buy, works great and seems to be pretty solid construction wise, but still adding only minimal bulk.
The keyboard does not come into contact with the screen when closed.

Best Buy already has them in stock for the Tab?
@nuprotocol:
Yeah, I saw one there yesterday. It was mislabeled as 49.99, and I would have bought it in a heartbeat at that price. Was very disappointed to find out the actual price was $99.99.

I'm surprised they wouldn't honor that price if it was mislabled. How do you like it so far?

Same thing happened about 5 minutes ago to me. It was labeled at 59.99 but when i got to the register it was 99.99. Oh well. I bought it anyway. I ike it so far. Better than any of the other keyboard cases ive seen yet.

Yeah, I think they mixed up the 7 inch and 10 inch case prices. They actually had to check the serial number on the price tag to realize that it wasn't for the item I'd grabbed. No one ever accused Best Buy of hiring tech-savvy employees.
@nuprotocol
Pfft. I didn't buy it. I wasn't about to take that sort of bait-and-switch.

Stilgut ultra slim case

Hey guys
Has anybody got the case below?
Any thoughts on it?
Is it worth the 45 quid?

I bought a case just like this one and I'm really happy with it . Only difference? I got mine for less then one third of the price (it is a no-brand... but it looks the same as the pictures in your link and it's really great).
For more info, look at the thread talking about the one I got (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1338546). Also, if you wish to check pictures/price here's an ebay link where I bought it from (http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270831391457&ssPageNam e=ADME:L:OC:AU:1123).
[Edit] Just spotted a difference on the pictures (at least I believe it is). The case you posted has leather on the "inside" of the case too, whereas my case has... dunno, something else . I'm guessing the all leathery look would be nicer, but that's the difference between a no-brand and a branded name I guess.
The best part about this case is that you can actually keep your Tab in it all the time, even when you want to use the camera or charge the device. This is very important to me as I carry it around all the time and my little brother and sister use my Tab from time to time, and of course they aren't as careful with it as I am. Having it in a case all the time definitely helps me relax when I see them handling my precious device

Check the forums, this same case is sold under many different names, so several people have started threads. II got it for $15 american (and they refunded that after I left a good review). Best case for the tab, but 45 quid (@$70) is insanely overpriced.
I have it. But as sad before you can have it for less money.
I've had mine about a month now,
Ok it's not the cheapest but considering what it's protecting is ten times the value of the case it's worth it. It's not the first case I've used but it's the best so far, well made, solid and sturdy.
The different angle positions are very useful.
As mentioned before it's not the cheapest but neither is my tab, so to me it's worth the extra few quid.
Hope this helps.
get the clip case from pyro skins, it's just the same one but much cheaper...
I got the one from Amazon branded Moko, but looks the same. Paid $18 US for it, and I absolutely love it.

Bought a used White Note ....hate White ..fixed it

The phone is conspicuous enough without it being "Apple white" as well.. I would have preferred a dark one. So I ordered a cheap black gel case until I got the skin decals in the mail today.....
Since I did not want to go through the trouble of a trade I found this site and they have some very nice skin decals. Especially since I don't like cases of any kind (or "screen protectors' for that matter).
They have matching lock screen jpg backgrounds as well (although I didn't go that far). The skins apply VERY easy and no bubbles and cheap enough to replace when they get eventually get messd up from carrying in pockets.

Here are some pics of the design I chose. The cut is good. My application a tad rushed LOL.... But NO bubbles. The way they design these decals makes installation easy, FAR easier than screen protectors which I stopped using a long time ago.
Looks cool, but i think gelaskins looks better but its more expensive.
Maybe ill order one skin
Tnx for the pics....

Yeah Gelaskins do look better and the customization and the ability to use your own artwork or photos is cool, but my phone is not really a fashion statement. In fact I want to keep it low key which is the reason i am using a dark skin..(makes the phone appear smaller) I just wanted to cover up the white as cheap as possible and keep it reversible.
Thanks for the site! I was looking a Gelskins myself, but 15 bucks seemed a little steep for some ink and gloss, and 2 weeks shipping? No thanks. I got myself 2 for the price of one at decalrus...mad awesome!
Thanks for linking the site Now i can have a nice and white Note

Garbage Pail Kids?! SWEET!!! Although Im personally not a fan of these GelSkin type things Id LOVE to see some pics if this...
Man does that bring back some childhood memories...
Somewhat off-topic...
I originally searched High and Low for a White International Note, and was willing to pay a premium. Just when I was about to pull the trigger, I saw a local guy selling a Black Note on here for a decent price... ended picking up the Black and buying a White AT&T Note on a free upgrade my dad had - boy was I glad... In pics, the white looks gorgeous but for everyday use, i'm glad I ended up with a black!

I can hook you up with this lol, however right now I am at work and I cant use my phone to take pictures of my phone. Ill get back to you later tonight.
I stumbled upon mytrendyphone (just add www and .com) whilst searching for skins for the Note, since i don't want to order things from overseas.
just thought i should let you guys know
I have used many gelaskins on many different devices. Their quality is the best. Decalgirl I would rate second best. Plenty of choices.
Another thing I like about the decalrus and decal girl ones are the full front covers, and not just two bars. Then, they also don't have the side stickies, and middle button one. Oh well, can't win 'em all!

[Q] Personal tips for a (soon to be) Note II user?

Well, I'm no stranger to large phones. I currently have my trusty Dell Streak Mini with me running along with DSC but my contract's coming to an end and I have made the choice on getting the Note II in about a week or two. Seemed right considering I couldn't let go of my 5 inch screen and Best Buy was giving away $50 gift cards left and right allowing to pay $50 less for for the phone. I've been reading up a lot on the phone and have just been wondering what exactly are some of your own personal tips you find handy with the device? I'm a bit of a power user so I like learning neat ways of doing stuff
here's an important tip
quit asking about the phone and just buy it now...you cant imagine how much better it is than any other phone out right now..

Believe me, I'd do it in a heartbeat but my contract doesn't end until the end of next week
if you go to the att store, or even best buy, they will let you get it now...I guarantee they don't care you are a couple of weeks away from the end...
If you go to an AT&T store they will let you upgrade up to 14 days in advance. At least that's what they've told me.

Best tip ever:flash the latest clean rom ACE 4.5 when you get it
Att stores don't do price match and their prices are usually higher than best buy or anyone else. In other words, buy your phone at best buy or some place other than att stores.

That's not true, Att is a lot cheaper then best buy if your buying out right. Now on contract it just depends on who has a better deal for a two year agreement.

Well after you purchase the phone this "GALAXY Note II User's Digest" on the play store has some good tips.
ALso there are a number of youtube videos showing tips.
Put it in a case. This phone can be pretty fragile.
Use the volume increase mod, or the latest Perseus kernel to gain access to audio tweaks. The headphone jack by default is a bit quieter than other phones (well, it's quiet for me anyway).

I'll be getting it from best buy. I get paid at the end of this week so I'll buy it over the weekend. Best Buy was also where I got my Streak and they were handing out $50 gift cards at the beginning of the month which can be used towards the phone making the final cost $150 before taxes.

I was thinking about getting a case too. Everyone I've talked to says otterboxes are pretty great at protecting phones. I've personally never needed one but I'll be looking into the otterbox commuter.
Personally, I use a Belkin folio case, but I just ordered a Spigen Hardbook. I enjoy the flip-style cases, but everyone has a preference. I think the flip-style cases add a bit of class to the phone. I would love a full leather folio of some sort, but genuine leather is a bit expensive :/
Oh, and my screen scratched. I recommend the iSmooth screen protectors. You literally forget that they're even on there. I'm not impressed with the 'gorilla glass' on this phone. Seriously, not a single one of my other phones scratched before and this is the first time I've ever used a screen protector. It literally scratched in my pocket (nothing else was in the pocket, must've been a grain of sand or something).
The otterbox is great, but it's BULKY. I can't comment on the commuter, but you definitely don't want to add much more bulk to an already large phone. To each his own though, if you can live with a little more baggage, go for it
