There's an 'invert colors' widget (stock afaik) on the s3 that basically just inverts all the colors on the screen and it stays like that untill turned off. Would it be possible to edit this widget and make a similar one that instead of inverting just turns off all colors except red? This would be very useful to help battery efficiency when hiking, help with nightsight when out nighttime etc etc. I've looked around for an app that does this before but haven't had any success. I have no idea about how to make an app but I reckon that it could be an easy job to just change the existing widget to do this instead?
Lux auto brightness has an astronomy mode (red screen).
Use chainfire3D app from market
Also install lumin an add-on to chainfire3D,then u have red and a lot of other colors to choose from
thanks!

The standard weather/clock appears to be white with grey writing in the day and the reverse at night. I don't like it as it clashes with Google play widgets dark look in the day. I can't find an option to change this behavior, any suggestions?
Hey, so for the past few days my G3's contrast seems to be changing and dark apps have a noticeable transparency.
I have colour adjustment on - and a dark grey keyboard theme that is almost black, but when it randomly changes contrast my almost black keyboard turns to a grey, that is where it is most noticeble. The transparency is most noticeble when I open my texting app Textra - the dark theme is a lot lighter and I can faintly see my home screen through the app but while when it's working nornally there is no transparency. It happens on all apps but these ones make me know its not normal as I use textra and keyboard the most and know what they should look like.
I may note that the navbar is black and the buttons green and when it goes brighter the navbar stays the same.
I dont know what triggers it, but it just seems to randomly switch between normal and brighter+transparent. It has only been happening for a few days that Ive noticed, and it doesnt affect anything it is just quite annoying.
Other than this, the screen works fine, knock codes work fine, when its running normal everything looks perfect.
Does anybody know what is causing this? My G3 is rooted with various theme tweaks from G3 tweakbox and gravitybox, but I did not change anything between it running fine and acting up.
Sorry for creating new thread
I want to ask that whether inverting color of display saves battery (found in setting - accessibility - Color inversion)
I use some apps heavily (e.g opera mini) which has white background...by toggling Color inversion it make background black and text white.
As OP3 uses amoled display so Color inversion saves battery or not?

Might be so. It might also be for mostly white themes apps which do not have a night mode option.
Am I missing something here? I have various apps installed, such as Fenix, where I am using a darker theme yet the LG Nav bar is still showing as a light colour. I know that in the settings you can change the colour of the Nav Bar but there is no option there to have a dark nav bar to better fit with the apps. Looks silly.
Can't say i am that impressed with this phone as yet although it is early days, some very slow re-loading of apps sometimes, especially InBox email app even though I have asked that awful LG Smart Doctor app to not kill it...grrr...
Any tips/assistance gratefully received
Use nacho notch. It now has the option to keep the navbar dark.
Or get Navbar Apps, which allows you to set automatic or custom colours for any application

I found nacho notch to work more constantly vs navbar apps.
I am wondering how to get more colour theme options when I set a new wallpaper, usually it gives me the same 4 or it may be a mix of a few depending on my wallpapers but I cannot seem to attain a white or grey theme as shown on the pixel 6 advertisement with white widgets and white app icons on grey backgrounds. Is there a way to get more options?
Also, sometimes when I slide down my notification panel it is completely white, and sometimes it is a blurred version of my background, why isn't this consistent?
It's limited to the small number of muted colour selections with no way to add more afaict.
The blurred pull down background is a bug triggered by adjusting the brightness slider.
