Only thing I could think of is either put it all in one folder so you only see one in gallery or delete it (of course you wouldn't have it in music player then ).

I highly recommend you download "QuickPic". By far the best Gallery viewer I've seen so far.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alensw.PicFolder&hl=en
In the app, their is an option to "hide" folders. Thats what I did so I wouldn't have to see all my album covers
All my music is in my extsdcard directory.
Also, most of the album art is embedded in the MP3 tags rather than a separate image in a folder, so I do not have this issue.

I'm looking for a good (and free) alarm clock app failing miserably in my long search to find one.
I didn't really like G-Alarm and seeing as you have to pay for it, I wouldn't touch it. I recently tried an old app called SpoonAlarm which didn't quite cut it. It was patchy and not well put together. Klaxxon is also a pain to use and get it right.
I found a few but they are all shareware/10 day trial apps, and I'm looking for something that won't bug me to buy it every time I need the alarm to go off.
Just something simple that can play an MP3 or WAV file as an alarm sound.
I've tried the old technique with converting some of MP3 collection into WAVs and dropping them into the \Windows or \Windows\Rings directories. The standard alarm can see them in the list, but it won't let me select them and 'bleeps' everytime I try to choose it. Guess it doesn't like Audacity modified MP3 files and then converting them into WAV.
What alarm apps are other people using?

Hello all, was wondering if someone might have some guidance for me as I can`t seem to find much on this topic.
I`d like to use mainly the stock apps for what I can on the Nexus but there are some things that I`d really like to be able to change. Number one of which is the stock music player. It doesnt seem to have any options/settings for anything. I'm basically just looking to be able to have the artist's name displayed and once you click it to go directly to song lists. I don't like that it opens into albums then song. Is there a way to change this?
Furthermore, if there isn't a way to change that, is it possible to remove the album art at least?
Thanks all
huh?

Using explorer show all files search in music folder for jpg, select all delete.
Probably, you have to add tags to your mp3s. The easiest way to do that, is looking for PC program to tagging mp3.

This app rescans your sd for music. Like in my case I had doubles of all my songs, so I cleared data in media storage which is what I would do when that would happen to me on any rom. But for some reason on AOKP the songs wouldn't show up anymore. I remember on TW roms they would slowly come back one by one. But after waiting 30 min I got worried. I rebooted, unmounted sd, took out battery, tried a bunch of apps and nothing worked. Then I tried this and finally my music is back

Just open in up and let it run, it should look like this

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Just leave it like that, exit the app using the home button. Just in case anyone else is having or has had this problem

Hoping this fixes the doubles all over the card, thanks for the link.

Just go to media storage and clear data, after that run this app and that should clear all your doubles

I really like the way this Gallery organizes photos by date. Plus I picked up the Sony Walkman music player from the original thread and love it! Only problem is videos won't play from this Gallery. Maybe that's because it's looking for the video player that came from the original ROM/phone? Too bad.
EDIT: Just looked and now they play! Go figure, it's now perfect.
Wonder if anyone could make a video/demo of this

Might be faster if you just install it, try it, and uninstall if you dont like it.
Hello folks!
I'm looking for a music player app near to Samsung's TW stock app. I don't care about any "features" or options etc.
All I want are the letters on the right side to make scrolling for a specific artist/album easier.
Since I'm on CM and Samsung's app won't work without the Touchwiz framework I was wondering whether one of you know a small cute music app with this "letter scrolling" feature.
If you don't know what I mean look at the right of the attached picture.

This one does that. It's very minimal. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2060838
