I've searched all over but I haven't been able to find an answer. I don't fully understand what goes into creating these custom ROMs but I follow instructions very well. I did find a post within the ViperX thread about getting the HTC input into the ROM. It seems to be applicable to what I want to do but I'm not sure. I would've just asked in that thread but this question puts my total post count to 8 so I'm not quite to the 10 post minimum yet. Anyway, here's what was posted about the HTC input:

There is no separate apk for recent apps. So, the answer is no.
What you can do is to go to ViperX tweaks, buttons, and change button assignments. Also I think under misc there is a way to change recent apps style

hi, great work buddy, but i wonder if it's possible to salvage camera app from stock ROM of HOX. I am rooting the device in a few days to add a senseless ROM and i would really appreciate the original camera app without the sense itself. thank you very much

Are those screenshots from your One V? If so, what ROM is that?... I desperately want AOSP browser, Messaging, status bar, settings etc on my One V.

The icons would be a part of the ROM, not the launcher.
Ahh, you got my hopes up with those screenshots of an AOSP One V ROM. The launcher looks cool none the less. Having your wallpaper show in the app drawer is nice.

The thing is that i use another rom (and i don't have access to Dev page to mention that to rom developers)
Do you know if that mod is flashable (if yes can you give it?) or if i can "extract" it from a rom (and how? ) ?

What ROM do you use? And maybe you can PM the dev and see if they can help you out. Also, I'm not familiar with which ROM has this feature, which is it?
It's in Rasbean Jelly . My guess is there are framework edits that would make any mod ROM specific. I don't think you could find a generic flashable mod to add this to any ROM.

So maybe there is more than one implementation (?). I think, at least for the most part, his cherry picks come from CM in his JB ROM
Did you install one of Mazer.one's awesome themes? If you haven't, well, I could say you're missing out on a LOT.

Now, some of you would want to go back to the default Sense 2.1 theme / looks. And, you don't wanna lose data / reflash an RUU. (A very boring, long procedure)
Well, I have a solution for you. I present to you, a flashable zip of the Stock Sense files which will revert you back to the original Stock Looks, WITHOUT LOSING DATA.
Prerequisites:
Stock ROM / Modded Stock ROM (Preferably 2.3.5)
The zip file (in the 2nd post)
ClockWorkMod Recovery / TWRP
Procedure:
Doing this is simple as cake, if you've flashed anything before.
1. Download the zip file.
2. Place it on your SD Card.
3. Reboot into ClockWorkMod recovery.
4. Install zip from SD Card.
5. Choose the zip file.
6. Flash it.
7. Reboot.
Now, you have your precious stock look back.
Bugs:
When I tested this and rebooted after flashing, it said: HTC Sense has stopped working. Just click wait and all will be fine. I guess it happened because I replaced the one from the theme to the stock one.

Hi,
I have some problems after porting Sense 3.0 from Desire HD to my HTC Desire.
I downloaded the officiel RUU for Desire with Gingerbread as Base and The officel RUU for Desire HD for porting.
Than i made made ROMs from the ruu with the kitchen. I changed nothing. I just set them up as Working folder, and repacked them.
After that i followed the steps from this Tut:

So after i finished the steps i go back to kitchen, add Root, removed bootsound, enabled Data/app, add and enabled Busybox, enabled custom Bootanimation, deodexed all apks, add App2SD, renamed the ROM.
without kitchen i removed some sound files. I also Made this for some other ROMs so i don't think here is the error.
Than i moved all apps from system/app to sd-ext/app_s. I think here is the error.
Than repacked all, flashed and nothing happens.
i'll upload the ROM if you need it

I don't think so i think it is the one from Desire. Where is the Kernel? is it the boot.img?
I really think it is the A2SD funktion. because i had the problem with the Desire ROM, too.

I can do but at the moment i have still the problem that A2sd doesn't work and so i cannot put the system apps on the sd-ext and the system partition is not big enought.
