I agree! Coming from an HTC thread were most all the chefs cook great roms like here. The differance is most on the Sensation forum do a Stock feel version non themed and fully themed. I see some roms I want to try here but most seem like they have not been updated in past few weeks since SG3 became all the rage and the ones I want to try are all fully themed. Wish there was stock themed.
I would like this also. Rom is great, just want a different look.
He made one

So I'm looking for a vanilla ics ROM. touch wiz must die!
Trim and minimal with 4g tether.
Everything works and it's stable.
I'll settle for gingerbread if I have to but I would prefer the latest and greatest.
you're probably wondering why I'm not doing my own homework and figuring this out on my own, well I should be. I would too if I wasnt working so much, and my work doesn't allow me to net surf. Lame excuse but hey I'm honest.
Can someone link me to the awesome or am I asking too much?
There are no stable ICS ROMs yet.
Any GB ROM you choose will work. And you can theme it to look exactly like ICS.
I used Blazer ROM with ACS' ICS theme. The ROM had the 4G Sprint Hotspot hack built in, and if you choose an alternate launcher you can get rid of TW - ADW EX with Kovdev's ICS theme (from the Market) works great.
Good luck.
In my experience right now the 2 best roms out are Phantom Hackers Blazer rom and StrongSteve's odexed blue. They are all great but those 2 seem to be the most stable and smoothest running on my phone. Also everything works with those 2. Miui Is nice and I am dying to try it but it still has some bugs and with my roms I need EVERYTHING to work even if I don't use a certain feature that often.
well thank you both. before i posted this thread i used calkins ics rom which eats up batter and doesnt seem to work all that well. and ill try blazer rom as soon as i figure out how to get my cwm recovery back.
weird when i have flashed roms on htc phone the recovery is usually left alone and flashed separately.
oh well.
You're better off with the stability of an official release from that has been tweaked by a dev. Leaks are flaky and usually never without something not working. I like blazer 4 with a different theme.
What themes are compatible with blazer 4.0?

Blazer uses an ICS theme.
I was just wondering if there was any themes for the calkulin 1.6 ics rom. I love this rom and calkulin did an amazing job on it but the theme is so...stock touchwiz..which i was never crazy about..I would love even the calkulin rom with the stock ics theme. If there are forums on this already I'm sorry. It's kind of hard to find exactly what you are looking for. If anyone knows of any theme please point me the right way. Thank You.

i know people love calks roms but since he's not here anymore (as in on this phone, not xda in general...) I might suggest just moving to something like mijjahs goodness or blu kuban... those roms are both largely de-touchwizzed and look and feel more like an AOSP rom. Both are built from ff18, as opposed to the older leaked fe22 and have tons of great built in features like rom updater, which makes it really easy to be lazy and still have tons of cool stuff... additionally they are still very much being actively supported and are gaining tons of new features now that the devs have source to play with... I know you were just looking for a theme but this would accomplish the same thing and put you on an actively updated and more current rom at the same time.... one last note if you do go this route be sure to flash one of agat63 or chris41g's safe ics kernels to flash from, or Odin back to an el rom as stock fe22 kernel can cause emmc bricks...

I highly recommend the goodness by Mijjah74, I may sometime flash another ROM but I always go back to his. He is making themes from his ROM so you can make it look how you want.

Everyone's opinions are going to vary as for which is better and how well it performs.. Basically cruise through the forums.. (development side) Look at a few, read some of the post.. Flash and giver a go! Your experiance with a rom may not be the same as another persons. Everyone uses the phone differently. So that's the best way to go. Just remember JB are under development (although there are some very stable/suitable DD's out there). Enjoy!
For ICS I like Blue Kuban or The Universe
For JB I use Phantom Phreakz CM10
Hope this helps!
ICS there are 2 that I really like 1 the Goodness 2 the Blu Kuban. JB there is one I tried and like its ParanoidAndroid. All amazing and have great support in their threads

The latest JB leak has been out for a little over a day. I'm beginning to get tired of the requests for mods, themes and other items that take a good deal of time to get together when we barely have a rooted rom at this point. So, to answer your question, no you will not see this in the near future. For anyone else asking for mods to JB, stop asking please. We have a great deal of work to do and there is not a single custom rom out for JB yet.

Can you theme the latest leak to look like blur lmao jk had to do it
Oh yeah and OP theme Chooser only works on aosp based roms such as CM, AoKP, PA, etc. It WILL NOT work on roms with custom frameworks like touchwiz, sense, blur etc. A quick Google search could have told you that

OP. It is not going to happen. Not possible. Please do not create duplicate threads.
I came over to the Note 3 after having a S3 for a few months. Day one I got my s3 i put on the Team Sonic-FreeGS3 and it was a great rom. It based off the stock rom and used the stock kernel. Just had some good mods done to it.
I now have had my note 2 for two months but I still have not found a good rom that I like. Anyone know of a good room that keeps most of the stock stuff?
Im looking to try out digiblur rom as it just about what Im looking for. Just need to add a few apks back into the rom before flashing it.
What stock style roms are you all using?
I'm on the nowizAOSPmod rom it has the feel of aosp with all the stock touchwiz features.

I would totally urge you to give Whompasaurus a shot. I cannot say enough good things about how quickly the dev's have worked to fix problems and support users on their thread. Best and only ROM I run!
The only negative I have to say about it is that you will not want to ever try another ROM again after using it.
The ROM has the option of installing with Perseus Kernel or the Stock Kernel.
Venum STS is stock odexed..doesn't get any more stock than that.

Macks AllStar room is minimally themed with a S load of mods. It also has the potential to be heavily themed if you like
