Great rom on toro, you sprint users should jump on this.

Alright, so first thing I saw (very minor, just graphical) was on first boot after a full wipe (I wipe internal storage, system, everything when I wipe, so the phone is dead clean) was the text at the first screen that normally says "Emergency Call" that you can press on to call if you have an emergency, instead said, "Slide finger in pattern to unlock".
Aside from that, the screenshot I took of the first screen came out as only gray which is strange, but tried again after getting to the home screen and it worked fine. Going to start work on testing the voice, mms, sms and such and will probably let ya know more tomorrow.

Yeah, I'd never tried it before and was really impressed by the attention to detail.

It looks and feels great so far having a hard time getting or sending MMS messaging it just continually says sending tried rebooting no go fixes I am sure are on the way

Yeah MMS is a pain in my behind. I don't think our SDM.apk is working.
So I will have to wrestle with that.
I am adding testers as I go, so if you haven't seen a test yet, be patient. I have a new building coming in the next day or so.

Buttery smooth and very fast so far. GPS locked on faster than I've ever seen it, even inside the house.
Nice... Giving this a whirl tonight Thank you Zinx!
Battery life so far seems terrible. Check my stats below. Other than that it is running very good. ADW app drawer seems to open up SLIGHTLY slower than before. That's about it. I'm gonna try running without setCPU and see if battery life helps.
I wiped cache/dalvik/battery stats. only flashed 3 nightlies before this.
Thanks for all the hard work ladies and gents!

2. I dont think CM 7 has support for T-mobile contacts.. I think that's something built in the stock roms I believe but I'm not 100% sure

[APP][TOROPLUS][10/12/12] Sprint Diagnostics - PRL Manager - MSL Getter - Other win

I got tired of all the *#*#tHiSiSsTuPiD#*#* codes to access all the Sprint diagnostics so I slapped this app together. Works great on our Eos builds and works on Dreams and Shabbys build. Just flash in recovery and win. Let me know what you think.
UPDATE: 10/12/12
For those of you who run Eos, nothing new. Just helping out everybody else who haven't discovered true win yet :highfive:
Features:
PRL Manager: No more test.prl crap. Just pick a folder, dump in all your prl's and flash PRL's on the fly. Be sure to report back when Sprint cancels your contract for you!
MSL getter: Just tap to get your MSL code. Simple enough.
USB Diagnostics Mode: With help and motivation from my main man, the cdma guru himself, Autoprime! If you know what this is, you'll already appreciate it.
Hidden Menu: All the good shortcuts like update profile and prl, hands free activiation, data and debug menu, and all that.
NOTE: THIS IS A SYSTEM APPLICATION, NOT A USER APP! Do not try to install like a normal user app. It must be flashed to system/app. This will not work on stock, but who runs stock anyway? Reason being is in order to do some advanced telephony stuff, the app must have android.uid.system permission. Therefore, because it is signed with aosp platform keys, and not oem keys, stock is dead. Should work with any aosp build, assuming the dev has used stock aosp platform keys. Or.... just run Eos, feel our win, problem solved

the menu shows up obviously.. but it seems purely cosmetic. no flip from PDA to Modem is ever made. I'm probably the only person on earth that wants this feature.. so no worries. But if there's anything I can do to help this progress, lmk. I'll be in ##gn-sprint as usual Might just need to wait until Sprint releases JB for this feature. Samsung AOSP + Diag is quite an issue outside of NS4G and Gnex.
So can I force roam with this?

Thanks for this tool and for your TeamEos ROM. Been running your nightlies since they dropped and don't plan on switching . I have a problem just recently when I try to send an MMS. It won't send (says sending, then times out). Same goes for downloading MMS (says downloading, then of course times out). I always do a full wipe, system, cache etc. Once the problem started I went back to my Nandroid but the problem continued, I then Odined back to stock using Shabbys FC12 tar and let the system update to FD02 but I'm still getting the same error messages.. Its not a problem with this app or the Team Eos ROM. I truly believe its a provisioning issue. I have done the force re-activation with my MSL...and still no joy lol. I apologize in advance for posting here if its incorrect, seemed appropriate given I'm currently running the Eos ROM and obviously you guys have a good knowledge of this kind of thing. Again, thanks for all you guys do!

No wifi, 3g or cdma, is it just me?

NFC works on Stock based ROMS but not CM9, CM10 or AOKP (Rogers/AT&T Version)

So my NFC hasn't worked since the first day I had the phone. I played around with Touchwiz and thought it was quaint and funny, but not for me. So I tried out AOKP and CM9 nightlies of ICS, which were pretty stellar, despite dealing with the camera issues that have since been resolved. Then I switched to the CM10 Preview Builds, and while I absolutely love it, I really miss the android beam/NFC party tricks that my galaxy nexus and nexus s friends and I would play to entertain the ladies.
In all seriousness. NFC has only worked for me on Stock, Stock Rooted, DietICS, and the only other Stock or Stock-based ROMs I have flashed. I have installed and reinstalled AOKP or CM9 and CM10 several times, doing full wipes all around, and my problem is:
On AOSP built or based-from ROMS, the option to tick the NFC box results in it blacking until I restart the phone. It never activates. Ever. I've held that thing up to my Nexus 7 corner trying to see if it maybe is activated but just not allowing me to unactivate -- that is NOT the case.
Anybody got any clues or ideas as to what might be going on here? If I nandroid back to one of the backups of the other stock-based ROMs, NFC works, as it does if I then wipe and flash a different stock-based one.
A friend of mine (with a White Bell SGS3 [mine's black and the Rogers version]) just had me root/unlock/flash a JB rom onto his phone, and his NFC works. I felt incredibly left out.
Any advice would be appreciated. Legacy drivers or libs from the Samsung distribution? A carefully tweaked SQL DB? Anything, anybody? NFC isn't faulty, and wouldn't qualify for a warranty exchange since it does work on the original unrooted stock nandroid that I did before moving on to a Touchwizless life.
look at this thread
yeah. I checked that out, but though it works for sgs2, it didn't work for me. Currently I'm trying to copy over some of the old nfc-related libs and files from a stock-based rom and seeing if that'll do the trick...
I'm using CMX. No problems with NFC. See if you can get your hands on a different battery with NFC. Make sure your stuff isn't bad.

I have the exact same problem as the OP using CM10 from day one. When I went back to Sammy stock NFC worked. I don't use NFC so I chose to stick with CM10. My friends NFC on his SGS3 works fine running CM10. I tried switching battery's with him for a test and it was still a no go. I'm not sure what is going on but at least now I know it isn't just me. Hopefully somebody does figure it out at some point.
Here is how the option looks after I enable it. It remains checked but darkened out and does not work. After rebooting the phone it is not checked any more.

My phones acting all glitchy..:(

First I noticed that my email icon says I have 205 emails, no matter what. I also noticed that my voicemail icon doesnt like to clear. All my ringtones were set back to default even my email and text. Even after resetting my email ringtone it still wont sound. My multi-window kept opening every time I hit the back button even though I had made it stay closed by pressing and holding the back button. I had to restart my phone for that to work correctly. While this was going on, my phones battery was really bad for 2 days. I didnt even use it, it was connected to wifi and the battery drained by 8 pm, with no use. Its 10:45 here right now and I have 80%, which is good. I noticed the screen flickers with white sometimes too when I hit the home key. I am getting really tired of my phone not working. There was another thing that wasnt working correctly but I forgot what it was, a restart fixed it though. Anyone else having problems? what should I do? I know it isnt much but I like my stuff to work correctly. I Am stock rooted. I am not on lk8.
No one has a response?
Factory reset it?

Sounds like something is borked from a bad download or flash. I would reset to rule out the normal issues. With all the sms and app backup programs out there you don't stand to lose much, if anything, by reflashing the rom.
Why the hesitation?
Rooting can be great but typically is to install a program (feature) or rom that didn't come stock. If you're doing this and can't afford to reset if a conflict comes up then it generally its a good idea to stay 100% stock and let sprint fix your issues [which they typically do with a reset]
If you decide to reset try sms backup, and an app backup program like titanium or app backup and restore.
Good luck!
