loaded deodexed miui 1.4.1 but the wifi tethering/hotspot keeps on showing on notification bar when wifi is enabled, none hotspot detected and I cant switch it off,
anyone has the same experience?

"Talking Tom Cat"does not work. It starts, but the cat does not repeat the words. I think there is an error linked to sounds recorder and I think that doesn't work any app that record sounds, but the microphone works well during the call.

Explain exactly what you tried and where it failed?
It might be a corrupted download, download again and flash from CWM.

Hello to everyone......I have installed cyanogenmod unofficial experimental 20-10-12 release data......All work perfectly,but the only problem and the most important,I can't see youtube's videos......The known bug is buffering on HQ videos,no my problem.....Do you know the problem?thanks....Sorry for my bad english......
Whose version of cm10 are u using...
If Mr. Ben's, then there is this latest build uploaded that sorts that problem out....
you can't play high quality videos frm youtube, other videos work fine for me....
Download the latest version of the rom and youtube too.. that shud fix it.. else post asap... please try to give more details about your problem... it helps us to help you...

Dude, search for cm10 in the android development forum... you will find the nightly builds which are I think being maintained by dudeman1996..
Download the latest build, if that doesn't solve it nothing will...
cm-10-20121012-EXPERIMENTAL-marvel-NIGHTLY.zip is an experimental build after all...
Home button works for me fine.. try flashing the rom again with proper wipe, flash gapps after 1st bootand you shud be f9..... but first download the latest build of the rom....

Thanks man....al work perfectly now,only youtube with browser don't work but work only with youtube's app......Very well....But I have another problem.Intern memory is full......I can't install other applications.While with 7.2 I could move applications,now not......How can I resolve it?

As I know miui roms are based on official roms so maybe it's same problem as with miroslav unofficial 4.1 for 930?
Digging into this ROM it happens to have a cm10.0 base, I really would like to get WiFi working as this ROM seems smoother than any miui ROM I have tried.

Nope, it will have to be built from source as my normal porting methods are not working. With that being said there is a version from may that is very stable.

What did you do to get wifi working? Sorry about not getting back sooner. I will upload my port to my Google drive when I get home. Maybe we can get together to get it working, as I didn't seem to have the issues you did.

I have found previous miui 3/6/7 (port) and used boot and etc from there. That's all what i have done. Maybe rom needs some fixes but i am running it for 3 hours without any problem. So if you find something wrong, please fix it.
And please write small FAQ what should i change when porting from su 640. I think it will help many of us. I have created thread in devel section.

It's allready fixed, just install rom and gapps for android 4.1 and use it

Please read carefull: i am not developer and don't know nothing about it. I just know that when you are porting rom from su640 you should replace boot.img and folder etc (system\etc where is wifi folder). I have found old miui port and took boot and etc folder to new version that's all. Maybe Swetnes will be glad to wright small instruction how to do it in normal way.

If I try one based on .96 kernel (rom kernel, Jelly Slim), eveything works fine.
If I change my kernel to install Pure R3 rom, my internet doesn't work anymore, like not getting internet parameters from my operator.
I've updated baseband (.96 V2), no effect.
Any idea ?

You have to insert APN setting manually. Try contact your telco provider or google the setting.

I've seen an app (apn backup & restore) that export those params, but it can't import them on JB.
Probably a right problem ...
Is there a tool for this ?

Not sure about that friend..Usually I'm insert the setting manually if the new rom I flash cannot received the Internet setting..

If you manage to connect to a wifi betwork and open the stock browser then the data network settings get automatically installed
