Hi all.
I have loaded, on my at&t LG Nitro HD P930, CM10 - Preview 3 and am having issues with Netflix. I've looked around and found other JB ROMS seem to work with it but haven't seen anyone talk about this ROM and phone combo. I'm getting a black screen with sound but no video when running Netflix.
I've tried wiping all data. I've tried reinstalling from scratch and uninstalling/reinstalling Netflix.
I would've posted in the CM10 preview ROM thread but can't post there yet. Anyway, any ideas? Anyone else having this issue?

Try updating the ROM to CM10 Preview 5. I'm not sure of the changelog but it may fix your problem.

I've got preview 6. Still doesn't work with Netflix. Other video from my phone or streaming from YouTube works well now.

even though NetFlix is compatible with JB, I don't thing CM10 has all the updates and changes necessary to make it work.

Hi, Netflix newer versions are with hdcp protection, download may/16 version from apkmirror.

Is there a modded .apk for Netflix floating around somewhere? I had the official on my Inc1, and no official yet for Inc2. I tried a modded .apk from the DX, but all I got was a white screen and no sound.
This is one thing I really miss from my old phone...that and root, lol...but alas I have GB, and I'm stuck.

If you are in GB there is a patch out there that fixes the white screen. I don't have the link cuz I'm working. If you google search RMK netflix patch u should find it. But you do need root for this to work. If you don't have it sorry for the tease.

I get sound but no video with those.
EDIT: Well after installing the patch it's working great. I'm running gingersense rom.
I'm not rooted, but I'll check out the link in the 2nd post

Best I could get with any modded apk on XDA was the white screen with sound, but now that I'm rooted, and running CM7 it works fine

Got it from there... when I open it it asks to update and takes me to the official Netflix app in the market, I'd say it IS the official app. But you are right, it isn't for US per se.
I was just letting everyone know that I got it to work without the patch.
I tried all the apks from the second post and none would install.

Yup! That netflix worked without a problem. I copied the APK into my dropbox folder for easy retrieval for anyone else needing it:

Tried it, no dice here. Installed fine, showed my queue. White screen, sound only.

If so, what is the full .apk name, please?

Now the Netflix App is supported in the Marketplace....but I still only get a white screen with audio.
Hoping Netflix updates the app soon.
I'm on the rooted 2.3.3 rom and Netflix won't stream video for me either. Audio is fine, but the screen is white.

Haven't had any issues with IML74K_ICS_Perfection. I've actually made this my daily driver.

I was on sensation before and this exact problem was there for the first ics leak the first dev to make it work was baadnewz it was something about sd card read speed one of our devs should ask him in last case ill doit but i dnt know a bit of development so i think the best way is that one of our devs contact him.....

you know rc3 has been released right.. try updating and see if it works. If not try peopleROM and see if it works, if it does, report the bug in the cm7 bug tracker

Doesn't work for me on rc2 or rc3. It does work on my tablet and asks for root access. It never asks for root on cm7.

Now on rc3. "Unexpected error during integrity validation". Thats what it says when I try to stream. I have un and reinstalled several times.

i used xfinity to set a recording to my dvr while i was out about a week ago.
not a fix for cm7 but a reason to go to cm9 .. hehehe

Xfinity TV: control recordings or what you're watching on your TV.
Works w/o issues
Xfinity Mobile: watch comcast content.
this apps says it is ICS compatible now, but I had no video just sound.
new app called Xfinity Player:

works perfectly, I installed (11mb) and ran a show w/o issues.
I hope that helps; looks like comcast may be moving things around.

Damn, sorry to hear that.
You'll probably have to pose the question to xfinity.
I have also had this problem, even when I upgraded from rc2 to rc3, switched su's and moved to sd card, clear data, etc.
My wife received a replacement phone and her netflix has no video. Everything works until you get to the actual video where the sound plays and everything shows (e.g. timer at bottom), but there is no video. I've tried various ROMs and OS version (4.0.1-4.0.4). I set it up to mirror my phone exactly and then even restored my nandroid on her phone but still nothing!
Anybody else have this problem and may be a fix??

I've been having this same thing happen using the Netflix app on my tablet. I just let it play for ten seconds or so and then grab the slider and pull it back to the beginning. Picture shows up and the video plays fine from there on out.

Can anybody share if netflix works for them in one of the new 4.4.2. roms and if so, which one it is? I'm looking to update but I can't live without netflix and all the 4.4.2 roms I've tried so far netflix has had corrupted video.

OMNI Rom has Netflix working....well it did. Not sure if an updated changed anything.
I'm using CM 11. Netflix's video is corrupted. I may contact them later today.
