Hi guys
As there are a lot of people still hoping for a fully working Sense ROM, we decided to continue Kenia's and Chiledog's work on the GalaxySense port.
Currently we're working with the Nexus S 3G friends here on xda (links at the bottom) to make dev work faster!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Since the Nexus S build is still having problems booting on our SGS,I will work on the latest Kenia's GalaxySense that he never released! Unfortunately it has broken WiFi,but thanks to Jurgen Taipi,one of the beta testers,we finally have a 3G fix A new release is coming in the next hours,so stay tuned!!
Unfortunately,there's a side note too: I'm the only SGS dev working at this and I don't have much free time,so releases and development are damn SLOW. I have enough beta testers,so testers applications are now closed. But if you're a dev and you have experience with ports and kernels,please,join the team,your help will be very much appreciated

I can't wait for this I am a very huge fan of htc sense!

I'm so glad someone else has taken this up, I'd been trying to port sense 3.0 - but had always ended up with graphical glitches - but kenia hinted to staying with sense 2.1.
Also, I believe chiledog fixed 3g with an netd edit and the use of a relatively new cm7 based kernel.

Welcome to CynogenMod 9. This is a experimental Build of the current state of CyanogenMod 9 and is compiled from the latest CM9 sources and it will be kept originally like any other CM 9 release.
CyanogenMod 9 is still under heavy development and there are still a lot of settings and features missing, simply be patient.
These are experimental builds and not meant to be used as a daily driver. They're only meant for testing!
Release doesn't contain Google Apps, you need to download them separately.

I havent even figured out how to port an ICS rom yet to get it booting, anyone able to show me what needs to be done? Tried searching for a couple hours but never found anything super usefull to get one ported.

I was just wondering what the main differences between this and feb's previous ROM Creamed Glacier would be. It looks like if the camera issues still persist, this should be very similar. Am I way off?

I broke my usb cable, and had to buy some ****ty wall charger.
Only way I can transfer files is via an sdcard adapter and plug it in the sdcard slot on my laptop.
I already downloaded this, I just don't have time to try it right now cause I have to go in like 5 mins

Finaly, a perfect MIUI rom! Everything works great. Thank you very much!

so far, excellent rom. experiencing a bit of a current swing . most of thetime its between 3-9 ma wich is awesome and some spikes to 60. turned everything that autoupdates off.
also had a problem with whatsapp last night, i couldnt connect to network but was clearly connected to my provider (T-mobile NL). fix permissions fixed it.
but the run is butter smooth and so far great for daily use. Data connection has been better then most roms somehow, its great.

What is AOKP?!​Recently, a new ROM – AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) – has become very popular, and is gaining
more users with every passing day. Like CM9, AOKP also provides its users with stock Ice
Cream Sandwich experience with some tweaks added by the developers to enhance the overall
usability experience of the ROM. The lead developer, and founder of AOKP ROM, is
Roman Birg who is also a full-time college student.​
Differences Between AOKP And CM9 ROM​In CM7, most of the advanced settings added by the CM team were tucked under the
‘CyanogenMod Settings’ sub-menu in the Settings menu. However, with CM9, the CM team has
done away with CyanogenMod Settings sub-menu, and has instead tucked away all the options in
their respective categories, which makes more sense. For example, now all the advanced options
related to your handset’s display are present under the Display sub-menu in Settings.​

I was going to release a CM10.1 at first but arco has been working on it for a while now so I thought that he is the one that should release it. This ROM is a CM/AOKP mix so you're not missing anything

Yes but it isn't working. It won't work on any 4.2.1 ROM currently. At least till the kernel source is based on CAF's jb-mr1-chocolate branch.

? There should be no problem at all with RAM. I get around 150-200 MB free usually on my device even without bigmem. Try to use something other than trebuchet for the lag to go away . Something like the nova launcher.

Hello guys,
First of all thanks for this great rom.
Trying it for one night and this is what is happening:
1 - wifi working great
2 - charging all night long and stuck at 99%
