Frosty u know how to install the Microbes LWP in the link right???
I finished.
But use the one in the link.
You will need Root Explore.
How to install:
Download the Microbes.apk-1
Download the lib file.
Go to root explorer>SDcard>XDA_download > find the lib file and rename the file to libmicrobes_jni.so
Then copy it and go to root explore>System>lib and paste. The. Find the file in lib and change the permissions to RW-R-R for the lib.
Then go back yo SD card>Xda_download >find microbes.apk-1
Copy and go to System>app and paste
Then find the microbes.apk and change permissions to RW-R-R.
Then reboot and enjoy.

See it for itself.
Wallpaper runs fine even when I'm using only using one core on 1200mhz with Wheatley.

Well of course it runs fine. Try scrolling around within the launcher or having a transparent app drawer and that's where the lag comes into play. Been like that for years.
good day.

I just did it and it was still Flawlessly Smooth(Nova).
However, a really small lag in the app draw If it's transparent but it's almost unnoticeable.

For JellyBean

I personally recommend using a custom kernel. I know Trinity and Franco's have toolboxes in the Play Store that allow you to flash the kernels, and tweak a lot of settings (volumes included).

agreed, due to the fact that JB is pretty new, a kernel is the best way to go.

Yeah I'm using the Franco.Kernel Updater.
It's awesome. But doesn't do a great job at volume increase since it's only by 3.

bootanimation.zip
transfer to /data/local/
Why is it different????
How come it's that way now??? Because could've sworn it was System>Media.

It's literally always defaulted to /data/local/ first.
If there isn't an animation there...it moves to /system/media/
Data>local takes priority. So if you have a booth animation and flash a different route or kernel it will maintain the boot animation you have there. The only catch to that is if the company developer is placing his boot ani in that folder also, but only a very few do.

Not that im aware of. The android os has a built in lockscreen, so even if you remove the lockscreen apk you will still have the default lockscreen.

I got it to work, you have to go to /system/app and rename, move, or delete HtcLockScreen. apk. Pretty cool, i have been looking for a way to do away with the lockscreen.
