LeeDroid Problem

Hi everyone i rooted my phone last night for the first time with LeeDroid, all that seemeed to happen was that it went back to the way i got the phone in the first place
I dont have Market, and if im honest i have no idea what to do
Can anyone help at all please ?

Would i be better just downloading the 2.4 rom and trying that ?
How will i know that the ROM is installed correctly as like i said before it just seems like a new phone i got straight out the box ?

When you flashed the ROM did you do a full wipe? and Dalvik Cache too?

Honest answer , dont know
i think i rooted it correctly using Revoked, or it appeared like it did
in the software info on the phone it has this which to me means nothing but to someone it will

That is a successful flash mate by the looks of it. Of course you lose all apps and settings after flash, and as far as I know leedroid is a sense Rom, so it looks very similar to what you got out of the box, but now you can mod it and flash different kernels and scripts, like data2ext.
Oh, and regarding market, just search for market apk and install it the way you'd install any app.

LeeDroid looks and feels like a stock rom but with added extra bits, and speed.
you can overclock or underclock with setcpu run rooted apps.
the good thing about LeeDroid is that it looks familiar so it's a good starter rom to play about with. if you want something other than sense try a Miui rom or Redux.

Ive got 2.4 now but i have 2 issues
1. the market force closes when i select an app
2. when adding the htc people widget it lists no people in where they usually

did you make an ext partition and a full wipe?

Yes and i just tried to go back to delete and redo a new partition but its not showing only my pc is ???

i just reset it and now im getting the leedroid background i wasnt getting before , ive had to setup everything back from the beginning , facebook passwords etc
market is now working but im still getting the mounted read ony error

Either corrupt card or bad partitioning. Just partition it in recovery and search for ext align tool on Baadnewz blog. Google is your friend.
If partitioning doesn't help, try different card.

ok sorted that last issue but how will i know if ive partitioned the sd card correctly ?
ive got a 16gb one and it says total space 13.75 & available space 13.47gb
and on the internal it only says 129mb
why is this ?

What was the fix for the last issue? If you don't provide full info we won't know where it could have fine wrong.

tinky i partitioned it as you said in recovery but then i couldnt get past the loading screen with the joker on it aftwerwards
So i went back into recovery and i had to do a restore that was the only way i got it working and the memory card issue also vanished
Now its working properly should i backup my current ROM in ROM manager ?
what else do i need to do to make sure i dont **** it up in future ?
Also how will i know if ive partitioned the sd card correctly ?

How much space you assigned to ext? Also, not all roms support ext4, so if you did use align tool, then quite possibly that your Rom just can't see ext partition. Solution, partition again but this time don't use align tool which will convert any ext partition to ext4.
Regarding not loading after partitioning that is sort of expected, restore done the trick for you. Regarding not getting into this situation again, once you get it right just use recovery to do nandroid and ext backup, and keep it safely on pc, in case you need to change SD card. Then you just partition new card and do restore.

Anyone having issues on the latest Leedroid 2.4 with apps that have been updgraded from in-app billing?
Have one app (quota) which is now disabled due to the fact that the upgrade is now in progress whereas it worked fine on 2.3d.
The app dev suspects it is ROM and market related as other stock ROM users haven't had the same issue.

Failed to move application. Not Enough Memory

After searching, this is a pretty serious problem that nobody has found a fix for.
I get "Failed to move application. Not enough memory" when trying to move apps to the sd card.
Problem is, I have plenty of memory on my sd card (4gb) and I had all these apps and more on my sd card before a recent flash to EF02. I've seen this problem on my girlfriends EVO as well.
Could it be related to the internal storage being too low? It seems like when the internal memory warning pops up, it goofs up all kinds of things related to memory.
Also, is there a way to delete all installed apps at once from my phone?

Try getting SD Maid from the market it see if that works for you. It worked for me.

Thats just a bug with EF02.

I thought that maybe was the case. But it's a pretty common bug across a lot of Android phones/ROMs, if you google it.
Also, My first try at EF02, I flashed over EE03 without wiping anything. And had great results, and then something made my stock browser go fishy (mightve been EE03 8 lockscreen mod), so I wiped and re-flashed, and then using mybackup root to reinstall all my apps, I ran into this problem.
And doesn't really matter for a while now. Just dropped my phone in the toilet. Wasn't in there longer than 1 second, but I got it in rice now anyways.

Sorry to hear about your phone making a visit to the toilet, im not sure what the rice thing is but maybe you could shed some light on it for me. also i have the apps 2 sd prob, except i cannot install custom roms due to md5 mismatch on x8, but my wifes x8 has no probs, i can install all roms no problem if i use her card for the install and backup, which is a bit annoying as she is happy with floyo 0.30 and wont swap cards with me. i tried formatting the card and making an exact image of hers but no joy, no custom roms or a2sd for me. if anyone has figured this out then please please let me know.

[Q] Market download problem with the new Cool sense 3.0 v3 ROM

Hi devs...
I have installed the new Sense 3.0 ROM from Coolexe, and i LOVE it...

But allot of apps can't be installed on it..
It is apps like Titanium Backup, Swiftkey, Gmail, Dropbox, Youtube and many many more..
Market says there were a error in installing the apps, but not what the problem was :S
Apps like Angry Birds, Skype, Tapatalk and many other still works, and they were installed right away...
I cant se what the problem is, but something is wrong
I have a HTC Desire, 512 mb ext4, S-OFF, CM7 r/2 hboot, Cool Sense 3.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1040121)

I've not had that problem on Cool3D AceS V3...
Try clearing your market cache in settings/applications.

I have tried that, and it is not working...
I have flashed the latest version of market, and nothing is working...
Now i have flashed Intercoin ROM with Sense 2.1/3.0 and it is the same problem, downloads some apps in the begining and then ****s up...
I have tried to flash a new market, deleted the cache in market, deleted the data in market, and nothing is working...
I cant even get Titanium Backup installed, so i cant use my backups i have of all my apps
Nothing is really wrong, is it my Market account which is ****ed up, or is just bad luck that it is happening on both Cool3D Sense 3.0 ROM and Intercoin Sense 2.1/3.0 ROM?
Im going to flash CM7, so i can see if it is my Market account or the ROMs which dosent work...

I really hope that someone has an idea in what causing my problem...

Im now trying to format my sd card, so im sure, that there isn't any files that can corrupt the market download...
I will also try another SIM card, i have read that it helps for some people...

I have now flashed again, and it is not helping, it is the same apps which cant download, my sd card is empty, so thats not the problem, i have the lastest market version, so thats not the problem either...
I have tried with another sim card, and have the same problem with market...
I have tried to look at market.android.com and my phone isn't there either, so is it a Google problem or?
Im going to be crazy soon

I dont know what i did, but i tried alot of the solutions here on xda, and finally it is working after many many hours... Or maybe it is just the ROM which should rest a bit...

I love this ROM too - everything works ok after a second install however when i now look at my sdcard via gparted i notice thats its one big unallocated space! If i try and change it with fat32 and ext4 as per guide for gparted then reboot phone i get damaged sdcard warning do i wish to reformat? I hit yes and then if i check it in gparted its back to 'unallocated' space - the phone works fine as does the sdcard with this unallocated 'problem?' is this normal for this ROM? It sees the unallocated space on the PC ok (both ubuntu & windows 7) I can move/copy files to it ok too. Can anyone advise? thanks

If both the phone is working and you can move files to the sd card from the computer, then what is the problem? Just because the program cant see that it is correct formatted, it dosent mean that it isn't...
So dont **** it up with changing the partitions on your sd card
But you are right, I LOVE THIS ROM, so smooth and stable

Problem Installing Apps In Android Market After Flashing Blazer Rom 3.8??!

Hey all, I have a weird situation. I recently within the last week flashed Blazers 3.8 Rom. Working perfect. One thing I did notice is that I went in the market to download a couple apps I had on my phone before I flashed this rom, For example, SetCPU and Speed Boost Lite, it downloads but once it goes to install them, it gives me an error, insufficient storage available. Don't make sense because I can download newer apps that I've never had before just fine. My SD card has 14GB available, USB Storage has 10GB available, and the device memory has 1.77GB free. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I'm so lost

I've had similar problems. You may need to completely wipe your device and reflash the rom, I did so, and everything works fine.

try clearing cache in applications/manage and clear the the cache for your market place and reboot and you could also try clear cache and dalvik cache in recovery sense you gonna reboot anyways ...and if that doesn't work then re flash as posted earlier...re flashing is the easiest answer but im just posting cause it sucks to have ur phone set up the way u want just to find out something doesn't work naaa mean.... (>^^)>

Virus???? Idk but phone is messed up

Ok here it goes. my network service is off so i use my droin inc for games and such. running custom rom wildstang83 IceCream Scencless 1.0. im not sure what happened to my phone but i left for 3 days and come back to my phone being totally jacked up. It wot dl apps the google play reverted back to the old market icon. wont save my passwords for google sighn in. every time i go to youtube it says to re dl the google play services. im sure other stuff is messed up too. i have tried to flash another rom but when it gets loaded back up it keeps saying process. whatever failed and there a bunch of those that loop and i have to pull battery. when i try to factory reset it says everything was formatted but when i reboot phone its the sme as it was before apps and all. So is there anyone out there who can help me with this. Sorry if i posted in the wrong place or what not. i wasnt sure where to post it cuz its kinda an advanced question but not really a question just need help.

not a virus but it does sound like your phone might have exhausted all the space in the /data folder. I had a similar thing happen to me before I rooted and fixed my phone where i exhausted the space, itt went a factory reset and put the phone into an unusable state.
i don;t know anything about the rom you are running but are rooted and have CWM installed? if so, you should be able flash a new ROM to your device, GAPPS and optionally, the low space disk fix.

Yes i do have cwm but i tried to flash a new rom via the recovery section. after i choose the zip to flash everything goes as expected untill after the reboot and it goes into the setup part where u have to put gmail password and stuff in then it basically freezes up with unlimited process failures. but i will try again. cant hurt from where it is now.

if you are not doing so already, i would wipe cache and dalvik cache after flashing the rom. that may fix the FCs.
I would also suggest you run a newer jelly bean ROM like Tiny;s 5-16 with his version of GAPPS(4-05) version plus the low space disk fix so you can maintain parity with what is the latest.
I am currently using evervolve 6-25 and it is working well for me.
the reason I say that is these newer JB roms have the ability to let you skip the activation easily. I don;t know if it was some feature of GB roms but the activation wizard in the JB roms seem to be better my opinion.

When switching to a different ROM, it is crucial to wipe /system. This can be a source of FCs. Also, if switching, it is also a good idea to do factory reset.

I just flashed another rom i used in the past by the same dev and so this is my step by step. 1. choose zip from sd. 2. factory reset. 3. wipe dalvik cache. 4. wipe cache partition. If this doesnt work i will try jb roms but i would hate to have to dump the dev that im useing. there the most stabe roms i have come across so far

what do u mean wipe /system. where do i find that. only reason i ask is cuz maybe ive never done that. but i have never had a problem withthe other 15 roms i have flashed before so thats why im so confused about what happened to my phone. all i did was shut it off and leave it home. nothing changed from my daily use before that and it was working top notch before i shut it off

im getting settings fc. youtube fc, my uploads fc, market fc, clock widget fc, internet fc, rss reader fc, htc sence fc, all those off of a fresh flash ad new sd card
Just lost my bckups that were saved on sd card so now i cant even get on it i dont get it. its not bricked but yet it i unstabe to run any rom but the preivious saved backup (now there deleted)

maybe the rom you downloaded is corrupt. worst case scenerio is that your phone is on it;s last legs.....
i would suggest you try downloading the JB rom and Gapps plus the low space fix.

Thank u and its still not working. probably just takeing a dump on me now it is just bootlooping.

when i do a factory reset i get a wipe completed. but it says "no app2sd partition found. Skipping format of /sd-ext" could that be part of the issue?? ive never noticed that before

i don;t know if switching to TWRP might help you but it might be worth a try. maybe a coincidence but the last time I had a screw up on my Dinc installing a ROM, i was using CWM. I switch right after that. I think i did read something about TWRP specifically supporting the EXT4 Low space fix.
maybe someone more knowledgable can chime in.

i will try it but it is doing the same thing on every rom i have tried to flash. ive tried 6 different roms so far and i have ran them all in the past so im incined to think its jacked. and is there a specific twrp for the different roms or can i just dl the latest version and it will work
