[Q] Forgot to flash the kernel before installing ICS beta rom with xperia arc

Hi all,
My phone is rooted and has an unlocked bootloader, but I tried to install this rom today:
MooDeD ICS ROM v.4.0 / xUltimate v7.0 Engine [ROM]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526717
But I forgot to flash the new boot.img (new kernel), wich I had to install using flashtool. Now I can't normally boot my Arc (I can understand why), but I also can't get into CWM recovery! So do I know have to flash the new kernel wich I had to do before.. or can I get Android 2.3.4 somehow back on my Arc? And if I flash the new kernel for ICS can I flash it back to the kernel for Gingerbread afterwarts? The new kernel is based on ICS beta btw.
I hope you can help me
Everything is working very well since I flashed the ICS kernel I am now running Mooded ICS rom v30.5 without any problems (few bugs in the rom, but overcomable)

I figured that flashing ICS kernel and install the rom again worked when I had flashed the kernel I could get back into recovery again Thanks for your reply
does the DoomLord Kernel work on a ICS rom? Or does it has to be the ICS kernell by DoomLord?! on other words on ICS Roms the kernel has also to be based on ICS?
That's correct as far as I know has to be ics

I don't recommend doomlord because it's a bit buggy, but there are plenty of usefull kernells. To make ICS work you will need ICS kernell

[Q] want some info about ics kernel...

is it possible to make an ics kernel for sgy to work with CM9 or AOKP roms...
or we can use any Gingerbread kernel like Merruk Technology 2.0 kernel to compile CM9 or AOKP for sgy...
what feature are needed to run ICS that couldn't found in stock GB rom from SGY?
Actually, the 2.6.x.x series of Linux kernels works fine with ics, so there is no need for a 3.x.x.x kernel.
Although if you are interested we could make a team and compile it
well i say go for it if it has more benefits than bugs tat are gona hopefully be fixed eventually

Best Kernel for CM9

im currently on CM7 but what's the best kernel for CM9 will CM9 boot with the kernel i already have ? " DooMKernel CM7 "
You can try the kernel that is included, or Mjolnir kernel. Your CM7 kernel will not work.

Did you download and flash the Mjolnir wifi modules in recovery?
FXP kernel works wonders.
FXP's "stock" CM9 kernel works fine (first time flasher (oh boy that sounds off)), I've ran into no kinks whatsoever. (Still looking for that touchpads as cursor tweak to be finalised though).
Scratch my last post about FXP kernel. Right now I'm running Doom's ICS beta kernel v3. My current rom of choice is Xdark ICS.

[Q][ARC] Overclocking kernel for stock ICS 4.0.4

Currently I'm using the stock ICS 4.0.4 (4.1.B.0.431) on my Xperia ARC LT15i with unlocked bootloader and thinking about overclock it, however, I couldn't find a custom kernel that gives me that possibility.
I've researched about DoomLord, Mesa and other ones but I only see custom works for ICS 4.0.3.
In case of anybody knows some good kernel for LT15 running ICS 4.0.4 I'd really apreciate if could tell me more about or indicate any research's source.
Thank you folks and sorry if this question is inappropriate.
Regards.
Hi,
There are many kernels for ICS in the development section. Most of them provides overclocking feature. You can try Arcknight, Xarc, Anzu and Lupus kernel. But based on experience with my arc, most of them have battery drain issues.
right now Im on advanced stock kernel
I always using doomkernel v5 or sega stock kernel without overclock. I dont want my arc blows up.
But it's up to you.

[Q] nAa kernel

can some 1 give me a link for nAa kernel v 2.6
i remeber when i used it with jb 4.2.2 i didnt get any lag or reboots at all
nAa only made 3.0.8 and 3.4.48 kernel for Arc/Arc S. 2.6.32.60 kernel was only for MDPI devices.
Try fusion kernel. One of the best 2.6 kernels.
