I just downloaded V3 and there was no boot.img in the .zip. I extracted the one from the V2 .zip and everything booted fine, though.

Downloading themes works, but all the wallpapers come in the wrong resolution. Also, taking screenshots I've noticed when I try to upload them they are also the wrong resolution.

Do you mean that your status bar is displaying 1x and 3g signals? If so, go to MIUI Toolbox>Status bar mods>Single status bars.

Okay, more info on the theme/wallpaper issue. Whenever you download a wallpaper it's the right resolution, but it's zoomed in a lot and pixelated. When you try to set your wallpaper as one you download from the MIUI theme app it says failed to decode.

I have it, can I email it to you as an attachment? miuiv4v3.zip
So I'm assuming that since theres no boot.img inside the rom zip or any other .img files, all that needs to be done is just flash via cwm and reboot. no data wiping, cache clearing, fastboot flashing etc? Sorry if it's already been asked, but I haven't seen anything on this and just wanted to double check before I flash.

When you flash any ICS kernel of mine you don't have to reflash kernel for any ICS build including sense. Only if you go to jb do you need to reflash

Good to know. Also messaging sms/mms isn't working it keeps crashing when I try and either send myself a text through the app as well as when receiving texts from anyone else it crashes and never shows the messages Going to try flashing the cm9 instead.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the MIUI toolbox is exclusively for official MIUI releases only.......since this is an unofficial build, then is not included and can't be included

Hes correct MIUI toolbox is only available in Official MIUI.us roms. This is MIUI android and they have a JB control panel. It might not have as many tweaks but it gets the job done:good:

Hi i am very happy with your JB rom . its given my WFS a new life but scince afternnooon mind it its night , i am getting a error in playstore earlier of Please retry and everthing else is connceted then i removed and flashed again the playstore 4.0.25 version and then the app is just crashing ..
what should i do ...!!!

About sd card try push vold.fstab from any Rom on 4.2.2 to system/etc/ on this Rom.
Also give credits to xBTx he's the one pointing out to me which files was needed to get data working but I noticed you just need 4 files to do that
I'm going to check the installation folder and mount points someone pointed out they're different from the blocks we should use.
looks like vold.fstab isn't for us lol
also logcat seems to have a ***** load of

I'm not sure why you still facing issues with sdcard unless you mean the external one ?!
It's also very weird that the rom boots nicely although hwcomposer and garlloc are not functioning well !

yes i mean the external one. i got it working now but it breaks the media service. looking for a fix now

did you try to change both vold.fstab also xml list in framework-res?
i did change the storage_list.xml but not the new vold and it gave me allot of FC's
i can try to look into the HTC storage_list.xml and see if i can get the device storage to work

i noticed i did wrong while trying to fix the storage, i'm trying again and see if it will work
changing the storage_list.xml gives invalid card and a load of crashes, hmm

also have you changed the vold in system/bin/?
causing bootloop don't change this

I tried 2610 and 2630 and also 2700 wish it would boot though

I noticed it says it has all the features from SlimKat V3. Slimkat stopped working for Herc's not long before they released V3, people were getting black screens and other boot fails. I wonder if we're getting it now because of those features. This is pure conjecture of course but might be helpful in fixing the issue.

Can anyone get me a log to look at? I didn't know the Herc had any problems with Slim. If I can't get it figured out I'll take this rom down. Sorry guys.
EDIT: I'm going to switch to Liquid's device trees tonight after work and re build.

Yeah Slimkat officially dropped all support for this phone and another one. They posted this on the official website a while back. Won't be surprised if CM does that next. You heard it here first.

Going to build again tonight for both devices. If anyone still has this on their phone would you quick flash with an alternate kernel on top and let me know if it boots all the way. I think it might be the kernel or tool chain I'm using to build.

Flashed with 2 different kernels. Same effect. Black screen and flashed without gapps and with. I'm waiting for tonight's late night build.
