ecell2430mAh gold batteries - Atrix 4G Accessories

just got these in..took about a week and a half from ship date. will test and give a quick review..
[m]atRix

haven't been through a full deplete recharge cycle but initial impression is excellent build quality and so far battery seems to hold up noticeably longer. cleared battery stats and started from 100%. possible that my stock battery was a lil worn down..ill report back in a few days. I can say this..as for an extended use battery that still utilizes the factory back cover..excellent and worth the $20

I've been using this gold extended battery for almost a year now and it still performs decently, more than 1 day with Neutrino EE

Just got mine in today about 2 weeks early, cool, and as soon as I get home tonight I'm gonna switch them out charge it to 100% wipe battery stats and then power it up and let the testing begin.

can anybody comment on how these batteries are doing? Do the exceed the stock battery?

Does your battery indicator work correctly with this? My third party no name battery always displays the recharge icon.

i have no numbers to back up but im pretty positive they are outlasting a stock bh6x. i dont have a fresh stock battery to compare, but for $20, its AT LEAST as good. i have been thru about 3 full deplete/recharge cycles and yea..seems better than stock.

Charge battery to 100% Download video player, copy some video file and play it in loop until battery is empty. Do it for stock and new. Then post results.
Or you can try Nova battery tester from market.

Idea is to compare capacity of two batteries in the same situation as possible

Ok, after a few days with this battery, I can say it's legit. I'm using Snow Goose ROM and noticed same battery life as the OEM ones. Then I realized that the ROM was overclocked! I now underclocked to 1 ghz and this battery is insane!

Question with battery

I purchased the official Seidio 3500 mah batteries for my evo and the wifes evo. After a full charge, her battery under normal usage all day and night is at 57%. My phone after a full charge and barely any use whatsoever was at 13% after an hour..... We are both running Azrael x3.0 rom with the newest htc kernel #15... any suggestions?? Maybe my new battery is faulty?? I would expect this from ****ty ebay batteries, but not something official!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Try eliminating a variable by swapping batteries with your wife....then use your old one again.....if both work well then you have your answer......
Sent from my rooted evo using the xda app
Swap batteries ... if hers only lasts a short time in your phone then issue is with the phone. Then you can start troubleshooting.
Edit: Ha I was a few second to slow!
Ok I will give that a try.... I noticed in the battery left widget when I go to usage, the very first one says "running" 84%, and I click on it, basically it is stating that the phone isn't sleeping when I lock the phone..... could this mean that the everything is staying on when it should be sleeping?
Thank you for tips!!

Ok after being on the charger for all night, I unplugged it, and really haven't done anything and I dropped to 90 % within 8 minutes.... I haven't had a chance to try my wifes battery yet, but im thinking this one is definitely faulty...
Why would android system be at 63%???

Dropping the first 10% quickly is not a certain indication that its the battery....your battery charges to 100% and then, begins to be used up to 10% before it charges again.....so you could have been lower than you thought you were originally ...thus making it appear that you dropped 10% in minutes.....if the remainder of the battery does this then I still recommend you try swapping with your wife to eliminate or confirm

Ok well I just wanted to say thank you guys for your advice, but I think I figured it out.... I think that some things within the phone were not getting along. I flashed the SBC-Net-4.2.2-more-havs kernel #11. I fully charged the phone, including bump charge, and I left it on for about an hour or so longer, and I have been unplugged for 1:44, and my awake time is 45 min. I am still reading 100%!!! So I think I am good to go....
Thanks again guys

Recommend a good old phone/good battery

Can you guys recommend me a good/older phone with a full keyboard and has a good battery life? I'm looking into the samsung rant,or even the lg lotus (which I had and was pretty decent).I'm seriously thinking of switching back to an older phone from this Epic.
Reason being; I need more battery life.I've tried all the tricks to get more battery life.but none work or they might work but make my phone not stable.
I'm kind of looking into a 3500 mah battery off ebay but don't know yet.

Thanks for the eg22 rom recommendation.I've tried alll roms though.but when I try a rom that requires an undervolted kernel or tweaks to get the most battery life,I get problems.sometimes camera doesn't work.I'll get random fc's .and this is very important to me.sometimes ill be stuck with no phone due to this. I did so many configs with apps on stock ec05 that I will just guess when I update it to latest soon. I can use an extra 4 hours if not more and looking into ebay soon. 8 bucks is hard to beat for that. 2 extra for a case to it to.

Yeah man,im expecting it tomorrow,so hopefully it works for me.the major issue for me,was that I can't get a simple gps directional use without wasting half the battery on that.
Plus, when I go to "music festivals" aka raves.I/ most of the people there tend to get horrible signal.u can't risk getting lost and without signal there.
Or
When u really need to make a call.emergency calls.u wouldn't be able to dial out cause of bad phone battery life.
..
I payed like 8 bucks free shipping off a seller from texas for the 3500 mah battery plus battery cover.ill let u know what's up with that. Way faster shipping for about the same price u can get it off a hong kong seller.no offense to china.lol.

It shows exactly 1500? I mean the real question is what you are looking at. A good app would report design capacity (1800) and then current capacity which will be lower and will keep going down over time.
I had the same thing happen to me but I ended up getting a free battery out of the deal. I got that battery monitor it said 1500 i called sprint and told them they said come down get the right battery free of charge so I got the battery when I got home I opened up the lid and the battery in there was in fact an 1800mah but I got a free battery out of the deal so win win!

Sprint customer service has always been great with me. They are very focused on keeping there customers happy.

Bad Battery?

I've had my E4GT for maybe ten months and my battery is just horrible now. I have tried a variety of different ROMs and I'm currently running goodness and I used to get great battery life out of it (full day with heavy use) and then it just started going bad. Now I have to charge every seven hours or so. And my screen flickers (as if my batterys out of juice) and my phone powers off and when I reboot, it is usually significantly lower in percentage or below 5% and this happens on a variety of ROMs as well but it seems like its gone because I formatted SD (formatted a few hours ago so dont know for sure). I am most likely going to buy a new standard battery but I want to make sure that it's a bad battery. Thanks
If you take the battery out is it swollen? You can spin it pretty good if it is swollen. My battery went bad around ten months, just took it to a Sprint repair store and they gave me a new one.

Actually now that you mention it, it doesn't seem to fit properly into the compartment and it looks like the bottom left side is sticking out more (when you look at it from the side at eye level). Also, when I put the back cover on, it requires more to close and fit properly

That's the thing. You shouldn't need to calibrate a lithium ion battery. Complete drains are actually bad for them.

Removing battery stats is not calibrating. To calibrate just charge the phone to full and after a couple cycles it will optimize itself.

Wow seven hours? Are you on stock? When I first got my E4GT and was running stock, non rooted, I could last the whole day . And just let it charge all the way but don't let your phone die. That's not good for the battery

Yup. Well the one I have is called the 'floater', device so anyone can use it. I just snatches it up before anyone else could.
Alright time to post some battery life and yall are going to be impressed.
Like I said before, this is just an average day use of mine. I browse a lot, read articles from greader pro, Tapatalk, took come pics, talk a little, watched a twenty min flash vid from Engadget, tons of Google voice text and my Gmail set to auto sync. I have the brightness on 50. It's perfect on 50. Eco mode on. With Eco mode on, there's no performance degradation what so ever or at least I didn't notice any
.

Most of my battery usage going to OS...kinda odd. Honestly not much better than my atrix HD getting about 12-16 ...a bit dissapointed even when i have the cores turned off. GONNA TRY A CALIBRATIOn but have a feeling LG doesnt squeeze every ounce of potential from the battery...overall I gets me from 730 to 730 without having to plug in to many times......sorry about the spelling but god LG keyboards are horribke from my LG-E970 using xda premium
Got the att one here, battery life is pretty aweful, went to bed with 45% on the battery and woke up with 5% gps/wifi/all off eco mode on

Hmm that's not the case with mine. Look up and check out the screen shots. Excellent battery life, good idle time.

When the data connection is on with crappy signal, battery will drop rapidly. When I enter the server room, I lose 10% per hour like clockwork (if wifi is off), when I'm out of the office, I can go all day without a charge with moderate use.
