Guys I tried to flash CM 7.1 stable on my girlfriend's defy and on the first try it didn't install correctly the google apps so I had to reflash them again.
Since that moment I couldn't be able to access the rom anymore, it was stuck in boot loop.
So I flashed some sbf's but I was'nt satisfied with any of them so everytime I try to repeat the whole procedure (root, recovery, flash) the CM 7.1 rom that I flash doesn't start, it stops on the CM boot logo.
Today I tried again installing CM starting from a Froyo sbf, but again no success, this time it's stuck on the original motorola logo, not even the CM one.
What can I do? it seems like I'm not able to properly flash a rom anymore, only sbf's work. Thanks!

wipe everything and try
wipe both data/cache and then try
if its for your girlfriend's phone then try cmiui its awesome man.

Help me please, very want to use this rom
My actions:
1. Flashed LT15i_4.1.B.0.431_RU and LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_Global (1254-2184)
2. Flashed fusion kernel
3. Wipe data, Wipe cache, Wipe dalvik cache
(Mount and storage - format cache, data, system)
4. Install 'Racing Bean 2.0.1'
After installation i get error 'status 7', i tried to install near 6-7 times on fusion kernel 4.3 (each time i've been wipe data & cache), on fusion kernel 4.0 - near 3-5 times.
Version 1.1 working on any fusion kernel 4.x, but 2.0.1 not installing
My device is Arc Lt15i
status 7 error

i've tried to redownload the rom several times, but got no luck.
i think the rom has the problem with the symlinks in META-INF>co>google>android, there's to file there update-binary and updater-script. that's the problem
I updated to 6.0.4.3. so I could install gapps 4.4 since i read it was required. First I tried gapps 4.4 with cm11 and it wouldnt boot, just had a black screen. tried rebooting into recovery to retry the installation after wiping system but the recovery wouldnt properly load, couldnt get past cache wipe. Afterwards I downgraded back to 5.0.2.6 to install CM10.2 so i could try installing 6.0.4.3 through ROM Manager. I think gapps is freezing up cwm because it still happened again with the touch cwm 6.0.4.3 while trying to install cm 11 with gapps. i downloaded the package from galaxys2root.com and first i thought it was just a faulty upload because many people were posting comments on it with no resolution. Then I came here and downloaded the new Hellkat and BeanStalk ROMS and Hellkat did the same thing where cwm froze at cache wipe and i downgraded back to 5.0.2.6. although after I downgraded to that cwm, the Hellkat boot animation is continuous. I'll try BeanStalk next. I've been using darkside sper wipe and cache wipe with the installation of these.
i tried to go to recovery mode to install CM 11 which is KitKat of course but it keeps on failing..I can install any kind of rom that's jelly bean but when i try to install a kitkat rom, it won't let me. right now, i am using the latest CarbonRom Nightly and i'm trying to transition to CM 11. i did the factory reset, clear cache, and clear dalvik cache but it still won't work. what should i do? any help would be great! Thanks!
Are you running the latest TWRP or CWM? What errors are you getting? Is your bootloader compatible with the ROM?

I'm
Wipe all
Flash firmware 7.12.7 and try 7.11.26
Install rom
Install gapp
Wipe cache
Reboot
But my phone is bootloop
How to install mokee rom ?
Thanks all.
After installing rom, gapps, you need to format all data user. Then, you can reboot your device without any problem.
Format data is not wiping all, it's another button in twrp wipe
