Hey guys, title says it all, anyone know of what I just posted about? Battery life on this thing is a flat out joke, and I am rooted with bloat and whatnot removed.

I have the black translucent D3O case and its beautiful, I'd rather not do away with it, but if it means be able to use my damn phone, ill do it lol.
I did see a decent looking case designed for phones with the extended battery. *Sigh*

what is your screen on time?
tap on "screen" in that battery screen
There is something wrong there, either a rogue app or hardware related. I regularly get 4+ hours of screen time.
plenty of alternatives. grabbing a 2nd OEM batt would be easiest.
if your not into that i did a review on a Extended battery here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1787678&highlight=max+power
but FYI i was getting like double the battery life you are on the OEM batt.

i ran battery cal once it had had a decent charge so now to see how it goes.
feel free to add any helpful comments
Try the clibration after at least 3 complete charge and discharge cycle to obtain a stable result for a new battery...
That's ugly!
Hahahaha!

To the OP.. please post your details findings/observation to us..
and also the battery price, heat, charge time and weight too.. Thanks!
is there a hole for the noise canceling microphone on the cover?
Bought it for $20 on Amazon just to see how long those extended batteries last. Here's the first 100% to 5% run since I've received the battery 2 days ago.

As you've probably noticed, I use the phone more as a portable computer/gps/media-player than an actual phone so that's why screen-on time is quite low. No need to have display on when jamming music So yeah, personally I wouldn't use this as my daily driver since the battery bulge looks and feels horrid but I guess for some people the great battery life and the $20 price tag will be a fair trade.
Enjoy!
any pics????????
Didn't see a need to take them. Just search Google or XDA and you'll find more pics that you'll ever need ;-)
I can but i would like to see a hyperion battery lol

I was looking for a battery cover to replace mine and ditch the carrier branding. I love the look of the Int. cover, how it was designed.
Anyway there are a lot of sellers for these things and they range in price from high to low. Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone was looking for one. This guy shipped INCREDIBLY fast. Like 4-5 days fast, I wasn't expecting it for at least 2 weeks.
How do you know that the battery cover is OEM?
EDIT: Also, what was the ship time?

Hello XDA, I have a question about a battery cover I bought from Ebay, It said its an original geniune T-Mobile S4 battery cover, and it looks exactly like the stock one in almost every way. The only difference is on the inside of it. On the stock one theres an area that is thinner that the rest, and I think it might be for wireless charging, but Im not sure. Ive attached a picture here of both so you can see what I mean. Thanks

I think NFC is built into the battery.
If you look at the phone itself you will see that the thinner part you mention directly matches the metal housing that holds the sd card and the sim card.
Why that area needs to be a tiny sliver thinner I have no idea.

Hello,
I'm nearing the end of my 14-day return/exchange at T-Mobile and just wondering if these pictures and these battery stats are similar to what everyone else is getting.

Well, these days I haven't been anything close to that. Been only getting like 2-3 hours of screen time but I do have Spotify one for about an hour though.
