Hello,
I'm using Sandvold's ICS and I have enabled the ICS softkeys in build.prop.
When the keyboard is shown up, the bottom half of the bottom keyboard line is hidden.
Is this a bug or is there a way to lift the keyboard up, or to reduce the size of the softkeys in ICS ?
I'm not allowed to post on the dev thread, I'm too xda-noob for that
Thanks
david

As the title says, I'd like to remove the glow of the softkey buttons on rooted stock 4.0.4 - like the feature in AOKP settings. It's causing a lot of lag while opening and closing the appdrawer in my opinion.
So, is there any way?

Any ideas?
Does anyone have the .apk for this? I know there's alternative keyboards in the playstore but I prefer the vanilla ICS keyboard.
I like this ics one..

Thanks.
How do you change the input method. It doesn't seem like it's the same for most other devices.
settings>keyboard > turn in desired keyboard
when in an app with the keyboard, you should see a status bar notification with keyboard icon appear. open the tray, click the keyboard notification to select the keyboard you want
I'm running maddoggin jelly bean mod 31 I believe and I've noticed that the nav bar buttons become smaller when using the phone in landscape. I'm just curious I'd this is normal behavior for this ROM or if this is in fact a bug. I would have posted this in the ROM thread but I haven't posted enough times yet to do so.
Thanks
Nav bar size can be set independently on rotation...so I would assume the creator of the rom did so on purpose.
Hey, first of all I'm really sorry if u have posted this new thread on the wrong place.
Could some one plz help me how to reduce the size of the pattern in lockscreen in cm10 jellaxy and also the size of navigation bar softkeys which I have done by the "On screen button enabler"
Hey guys,
I've enabled the navigation bar on my Xperia S' official Jelly Bean rom because I hate those stupid touch buttons at the bottom. Everything works fine so far with the stock navigation bar and all apps are resized correctly to fit the smaller screen (due to the bar). Except the camera app, which still thinks that there is more space than there really is. So the record, take photo and gallery shortcut buttons are partly hidden behind the navigation bar.
Is there any solution for this? I had always enabled the navigation bar and in ICS everything was fine..
Regards
