Hello, presenting you ANOTHER new soft key modification representing minimalism.
Note: The icons used for this modification are extracted from the SystemUI.apk. The 'home' icon was however edited by me and the small menu icon (which appears in some applications like Facebook/Whatsapp etc) is MADE by me to match these dot keys.
The best part of these keys are - No matter how small you make the navigation bar, they look the same. I love them!
Instructions to Install -
Put the file in your device's internal storage.
Flash it through Recovery

i really like this mod but i wonder if you could make it a bit brighter, very hard to see on that black background. maybe a white or ics blue?

Didn't flash for me.... I mean it flashed.... but nothing changed though :-/

my status bar and nav bar are now missing. when i hold the power button it reboots my phone. how can i fix? i didnt make a backup cuz im lazy.. -.- my fault i know.

Wipe cache and dalvik and reflash your rom and you should be fine.

Yeah I really like this mod too. I've used it for several days now but I do agree it would be perfect if it was just a little bit of a brighter gray.

Yeah same here. I just reflashed my rom and flashed the v2 soft keys fresh and it didn't seem to do anything.

Oops! I'm sorry, I'll rework on this!

If you guys are running aokp you can change the colors of the dots. I changed mine to ics blue and it looks great.

Huge problem guys. Settings the brightness up for these keys reduce the quality and make the image pixelated. I'm going to have to manually design the keys now!

[MOD] Jellybro CM10 Navbar Mod [09/09/12]

Hi! I originally made this mod for my Galaxy Nexus however I like using as most of my screen as possible and I also prefer having a fast glow animation on the navbar as in my opinion it makes the device faster. As with the Galaxy Nexus, I made this mod for myself however I decided to share it over here but if required I should be able to do some requests

Yes the navbar is a smaller DPI (shorter) and the animation when a button from the navbar is pressed is faster which I find makes the whole device seem a bit faster.

Going to install CM10 later on and try this out - looks great!
On another, unrelated note, any chance you could share that wallpaper? Looks awesome

i have my navigation bar set to show on the far left the Munu toggle.. on the right search.. so i have total of 5 icons there ... Does this work with nav bar in this situation..

Yes the only thing that will be different is that the navigation bar will be smaller and the animation will be faster.
This is a screenshot of what it looks like on my Galaxy Nexus but it should look the same on the Nexus 7

Did you wipe dalvik and cache.. You also know this is for the jellybro rom ONLY...

As long as there are no changes in the SystemUI or framework with a new update it should work.

Yes, tried it with a clean install the latest rom from jellybro/euroskank http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29037694 what release are you using?

Im currently not using this rom on my Nexus 7 so I can't really tell you if it's compatible with a new release or not. However if it isn't just leave a comment or send me a pm and I'll update it as soon as possible.

[SOFTKEYS] Softkeys Assassins Creed Style v2 *Updated 10/22/2012*

Hello Everyone,
In preparation for Assassins Creed 3, I made these soft keys for myself, but then I thought "Why should I be the only one to use these?"
This will work on any rom which has support for custom navigation bar icons. Ex.Codename(Android), AOKP, etc

could you clarify, I dont understand what you mean.
All icons are pngs, so they all retain their transparency

The glow is only partial, it seems like the pictures are not transparent in the area were they should be...

Hey, I recently flashed the 2.5 Paranoid Android, and I came across your soft key mod.
In Paranoid Android, there are settings for the navigation bar, but nothing to let me change the actual key image. I'm not sure if I just haven't found the settings yet, or if they don't exist. But either way, got any helpful information for me using these kickass keys?

I haven't used Paranoid Android myself, but from what I have heard it doesnt have the option to change softkey images. I know for a fact that AOKP and Codename(Android) have these options, Maybe try out those?

Im working on adding more than just softkeys to this.
Here is a picture of my lockscreen, notice the lockscreen ring.

Please post method mod file services.odex to disable charging led (with jb 4.1.2 mod values =0 in framework-res no effect-alway RED led )

If you're running tw jb just go to settings display led indicator and disable it. Third or fourth post on the first page has screen shots.

You can use Tasker app to disable charging led.
Set red led,blue led...bright to 0 when plug any power source

2. This mod will hide your status bar icon, notification icon, clock, date, and notification text. Please use it wisely. You have been warned!!!
HOW TO
1. Decompile SystemUI.apk
2. Open res\layout\status_bar.xml and edit all this code to android:layout_height="0.0dip"

3. Save and close
4. Compile SystemUI.apk
5. Decompile framework-res.apk
6. Open res\values\dimens.xml and edit
<dimen name="status_bar_height">25.0dip</dimen>
to 3.0dip or if u find it difficult to pulldown your notification, change it to bigger value
7. Save and close
8. Compile framework-res.apk
9. Push SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk to system
10. Enjoy
NOTE
1. If u still find it difficult to pulldown your notification, use hard menu key on the left and press notification
2. Please give proper credit
