[Help] Lowed DPI on Nav bar but... - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Alright, so I got the nav bar to 24 DPI but now I have a problem with the back button being larger than the others. I decompiled the framwork-res of my Rom then changed the nav bar height to 24 in the values/dimens. Compiled new apk then moved the resources.arsc file from the new apk to the old framework-res.apk. and this is what I got.....

I'd double check your soft keys sizes. I'm using the stock MIUI ones and the menu button is the correct size.

I'm using the stock keys. I didn't mess with any of the keys. The other 2 become the right size its just the back key that doesnt.

Whoops meant to say back key. I havent tried it with the stock keys but like I said, looks fine for me when using the miui keys http://i.imgur.com/7fgJa.png

I've been looking through other mods and it seems like something was done withe the systemui. I just need to know what. I looked through your mods and you didn't have anything with systemui. Idk.

I can't help much cause I'm to lazy to Google but you have to decompile systenui.apk then go into navigationbar.XML and delete something the has "center" . Delete the whole line and it should work!

There's a bunch of navigation bar.xml's. What a headache.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

got to:
SystemUI\res\layout\navigation_bar.xml
look for this line
Code:
android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:src="@drawable/ic_sysbar_back" android:scaleType="center"
and
Code:
android:src="@drawable/ic_sysbar_back_land" android:scaleType="center"
and remove this
Code:
android:scaleType="center"

Interesting. Wonder why I dont have the issue with the big button seeing as I never made any edits to that navigation_bar.xml, I do mod the SystemUI though but not that specific edit or anything pertaining the navbar

Hello, presenting you ANOTHER new soft key modification representing minimalism.
Note: The icons used for this modification are extracted from the SystemUI.apk. The 'home' icon was however edited by me and the small menu icon (which appears in some applications like Facebook/Whatsapp etc) is MADE by me to match these dot keys.
The best part of these keys are - No matter how small you make the navigation bar, they look the same. I love them!
Instructions to Install -
Put the file in your device's internal storage.
Flash it through Recovery
Changelog - Version 2 - 21/5/2012
Keys are now brighter.

Don't forget to click on 'Thanks'! It really helps.. It makes me happaayyy! x)

[MOD] Jellybro CM10 Navbar Mod [09/09/12]

Hi! I originally made this mod for my Galaxy Nexus however I like using as most of my screen as possible and I also prefer having a fast glow animation on the navbar as in my opinion it makes the device faster. As with the Galaxy Nexus, I made this mod for myself however I decided to share it over here but if required I should be able to do some requests
Mod Features
32 DPI / Stock DPI
Fastglow

Yes the navbar is a smaller DPI (shorter) and the animation when a button from the navbar is pressed is faster which I find makes the whole device seem a bit faster.
Going to install CM10 later on and try this out - looks great!
On another, unrelated note, any chance you could share that wallpaper? Looks awesome

Yes the only thing that will be different is that the navigation bar will be smaller and the animation will be faster.

[SOFTKEYS] Softkeys Assassins Creed Style v2 *Updated 10/22/2012*

Hello Everyone,
In preparation for Assassins Creed 3, I made these soft keys for myself, but then I thought "Why should I be the only one to use these?"
This will work on any rom which has support for custom navigation bar icons. Ex.Codename(Android), AOKP, etc
Here they are.
Screen shots:
Normal

}
45% Transparency (Personal Preference)
Softkeys Set currently includes:
Home
Back
Recent Apps
Menu
Search
More will be available upon request
this is NOT a flashable zip
Instructions:
Download ZIP
Copy contents onto phone storage
Go to rom settings
Open up navigation bar settings
Change icon for each action
Enjoy
Stuff: I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. The chances of this are almost 0%. Just read the instructions and you will be just fine.
Let me know if you have any suggestions, I probably will supply a flashable zip later.
Hit the "Thanks" button if you like this. And feel free to check out my apps on the Play Store (Link)
Changelog:
v2.
-Added Menu and Search buttons
v1.
-Initial Release

Hey, I recently flashed the 2.5 Paranoid Android, and I came across your soft key mod.
In Paranoid Android, there are settings for the navigation bar, but nothing to let me change the actual key image. I'm not sure if I just haven't found the settings yet, or if they don't exist. But either way, got any helpful information for me using these kickass keys?

I haven't used Paranoid Android myself, but from what I have heard it doesnt have the option to change softkey images. I know for a fact that AOKP and Codename(Android) have these options, Maybe try out those?
Im working on adding more than just softkeys to this.
Here is a picture of my lockscreen, notice the lockscreen ring.
