Download font installer from the market

font installer mate, that options isn't there on the display settings

all fonts are located in /system/fonts/
just grab any font you like from your pc, internet or any other places. you can even take fonts from windows control panel. decide which of those fonts you want to change. renameyour desired to the font you want to be replaced. aaaand replace it!!!!
though for for english/latin font this method is not too easy, cause there are lots of english font and some of didn't name so clearly. but for other languages it's usually a single font.
btw third party fonts, *ones you choose, font installer or flipfonts) are not sized correctly. sometimes they are too bg so they won't shown coorectly in boxes, or they're too small and hard to read. I suggest using of stock or AOSP fonts only.

Guys, thanks for your suggestion and I prefered to download font installer but why I get my phone's bootloop after install and applied font from font installer?anyone knows why is it??

[Q] Font Change

Is there a relatively simple way to change the font on the epic? I'm running ACS 1.1 and was using AA's revolution remix theme but after a couple of weeks my phone started acting up. Performed a restore in clockwork mod, re-flashed theme and in a couple of weeks the phone was again unresponsive. So once again I am without a custom theme, which isn't so bad, but I REALLY miss the font in revolution remix, it was so much easier on the eyes. Can anyone offer some insight?
Type fresh app in the market.... you will also need andexplorer.... I use the font from the android logo
You can google .ttf fonts to download, save the fonts you want to try/use onto your SD card. Then, download FontChanger from the market and load the fonts. Very fun to experiment with a lot of the fonts. LOL
Custom font changer. Its free in the market

i like the font from that theme as well. what i did was deleted everything inside the system folder except for the fonts folder from the AA's revolution remix flashable zip and then flashed it and now i have the font =)

Yes, you can do the same for any theme. Just make sure you delete the other folders except the fonts folder.

Custom Font Changer from market works, but when selecting different fonts, everything always appears either completely in bold or all regular. For example, gmail messages are all coming up as bold regardless of whether message is read or unread. With original SRF 1.2 font, gmail read messages are not bold.
Probably a silly question, but am I missing a setting in the app or something else that will address this?

I'm also using the Ubuntu font. I installed it from an apk (don't know the source) that i included with this post. after installing the font go to settings->Display->Screen display->Font style and choose Ubuntu.
No root needed.
Fun fact: The Ubuntu Titling font was designed by Christian Robertson, who also designed the new Roboto font for Ice Cream Sandwich.
I posted a link in the Android Themes forum that mentions this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1311531
There are plenty of nice fonts to experiment with though. Just search through the forums or check out the big compilation threads like this Flipfont thread or 300 Flashable Font Packs. If you want to keep it simple I recommend than33's modified fonts. I used his modified Segoe until Roboto came out.

[Help] Where's the font folder?

I looked around but not able to find my answer....
I see the font folder in /system/fonts but I don't think it's the correct one. How do I add font styles to show up directly under "display>screen display>font style"
Is there a way to just extract fonts lets say from another rom and copy and paste?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: I found font switcher in the market that seems to work pretty well. But still would like to know where the fonts are hiding...

The app is called FlipFonts. Here's a thread that has a good many fonts you can install just like any app.

I was looking for something for AOSP or TW that changes all ur system fonts

I'm looking for this same thing. Although, using the Font changer apps on AOSP I can't get the whole system to change. Usually just the normal font is changed. Bold, Italic, etc. don't change. How do you get all of them to change? Any help is appreciated.
hey dude and fellow XDA members. I found a thread on xda for our ENTIRE font goodness on JB AOSP ROMs.
all props and thanks to dev
