[Q] Plantronic discovery 975?

Anyone tried the S2 with this bluetooth device?
Satisfied?
Other suggestions?
Thanks in advance /Voz
I have and its an absolutely brilliant headset well worth the money plus its got multi-point so you can connect 2 phones to it
Dave
Sounds, good, prob means I can have it connected to PC as well then, will order one tonight.
Very strange I have much worse sound quality in d975 than directly through the phone. However this might be a general bluetooth issue rather than specific d975. Eg with my 3gs it was impossible to use a bt headset.

Edit: A bug in S2 - turn of WiFi and it works much better. However, not very satisfied with soundl quality but probably more a problem with S2 bluetooth. Se further thread "crappy bluetooth..."

[Q] Sgs2 bluetooth unable to discover Sennheiser MM 550

Dear Xda friends,
Sgs 2 is my first android phone, I tried to pair it with my beloved wireless headphone, Sennheiser MM 550, however I am quite dissapointed because SGS2 couldn,t discover my headphone, where as my iphone4 and ipad2 worked well with the headphone,
I am on gingerbread 2.3.4 KG2 rooted, had tried the 00X0 fix but it did not solve the problem, is the headphone really not compatible with samsung, is there a work around for it?
I had googled and browse around forums but I still couldn't find any solution to this.
Pls advise,
Thanks

[Q] Headphones problem!Little help plz

Hello to everyone.
I have a question that troubled me for a while and only you can help me.
I have a Gio with CM 7.2 and although I bought some headphones that were compatible with my phone now they dosn't work very good.
However given in the house a few pairs of headphones from my old's nokia who had the same jack as Gio I tried them ... problem is that it sounds stupid with very little bass .. but microphone headset works on gio .
It is odd that my bought headphones (the one for gio or from nokia) seems to hear the same.
Not understand anything .. why headphones for Gio work and now they are hearing the same as the nokia handsfree?
Is there a phone setting or what is the problem.
I hope u understand my bad English

SGS III with MW-600

I previously had an X10 which came with a MW-600 stereo bluetooth headset
It never displayed track information before
Naturally when I got my SGS III I paired it with the headset to try it out and voila !! track information displaying on the MW-600 like it should be !
so I'm glad to know the headset is finally fulfilling its potential, and wondering if this functionality now works because of ICS or something else related to the phone.
Thought I'd share this info.
Yeah! It's working from SGSII

It was also working on the T-Mobile T-989 (galaxy s2) with gingerbread. It only worked with the stock player, but it still worked. All the buttons and functions worked too.
Glad to see this thread though as I have sold the gs2 and am waiting for my gs3 to arrive.
can somebady teach me how to pair it to my samsung galaxy note (n7000)...
It works good. thanks

[Q] Galaxy Nexus (toro) and MirrorLink compatibility>??

Well its that time that i wanna upgrade my headunit in my car. theres a new standard that has been agreed to be used by most of the big cell mfgrs, car companies, and headunit mfgrs - its called MirrorLink.. I know the SIII has it and you can hook up your cell to a headunit and it basically throws your cell display onto the headunit.
Anyone else hear of this? Know if compat. with galaxy nexus? If not, anyone know how i can install it on a nexus to use? I really love this idea and i really feel its gonna catch on..
Thanks

- this is about the mirror link..
and then like wise i found the new Parrot Asteroid SMART coming out very very soon that integrates the android phone into your headunit.

im not sure which technology for connection is better or worse - its a very exciting time, either way!
Mirrorlink is not yet working on other Android phones beyond the S3 but it's being worked on and there is a good amount of interest, check out the last few pages of this thread...
