Troubles flashing Roms - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Well seems I have a bit of an issue with switching Roms.
I am currently running vicious v1 for toro devices . Every time I try and switch to another ROM, I get stuck in a boot loop over and over again.
I can't reflash the original version of vicious ROM once it happens. The only way to fix it is to restore from a backup.
Any ideas folks?
Edit:
I am able to flash fruits and veggies ROM on the phone but when I try to flash the gapps ( any set both ics and jb) it goes into the boot loop again.
I am using cwm touch.

I bricked my phone somehow and i need expert help please.

This was in the course of over 20 days.Ok, i was stock rooted, then i flashed CWM, then i flashed AOKP Rom, everything was going smooth. Then i flashed an update to AOKP Rom, then my Data started acting up. Then i flashed Sammy Kernel that goes with AOKP Rom, My data was still acting up. I suspected a corrupt IMEI, so i figured i flash back to stock through odin using stock ATT Images, and try to recover my IMEI. So i flashed Stock ATT image through Odin, but now my phone wont go past the samsung logo. It loads the ATT boot animation, then stays stuck on the samsung logo. Help please.
The expert help you need is to do a full reflash of the phone in ODIN.
When you flashed stock did you also flash the kernel? Might pose an issue

Try flashing the Sammy kernel in cwm. That should fix you up.

Relax its not bricked. Boot into the Samsung recovery the same way you do it to get into cmw and clear cache. It will boot.

Installed CM10 but stuck on boot logo.

Hello, I recently rooted my phone and installed the latest CWM to install the CM10 rom but after i reboot it doesn't go past the CM logo loading screen. What may the problem be? I have the rogers GS3.
Did you format data and factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik?

When going back and forth from a TW based rom(stock) and CM/AOSP based roms you HAVE to wipe all all cache and system info before you install ... and vice-versa
Oh awesome, it worked.
Btw... whatr happened to the playstore app?
Did u flash the jb gapps? It contains Google apps

Can't install ROMS or restore backups

I own the Virgin Mobile HTC one V. I tried everything I could think of to get this working but nothing has fixed this issue.. Beginning with stock I try to flash any aosp rom I want, then gapps, and then flash the boot.img as instructed but after doing so I either get random reboots upon trying to boot the phone or it just stays at a black screen. And then when I try to restore my stock backup it always goes past the Virgin Mobile animation but then hangs at the white HTC screen. I even tried flashing the boot.img after restoring that as well but no luck. Went back to complete stock and tried again but I keep getting the same result. Can someone please help me out?

R: Can't install ROMS or restore backups
You need to RUU
I mentioned already going back to stock and trying the whole process again but I get the same result.

go with a ROM like codefireX. no need to downgrade the radio.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173524
use the SR15 release
I've already tried installing this rom. still doesn't solve the issue I'm trying to address...

It should, I was having all the same problem until trying that ROM. Are you sure you're wiping all your caches and factory reset?
yea man I've done everything correctly. No matter what ROM including this one, I still fall into the same issue. Could it possibly be a hardware issue?

Cant restore my backup cwm files

Hey guys i have a problem for 3 weeks now and would love some pro advice.I glashed a slim bean 4.2.2 v6 around 3.5 weeks back and used it for some week and then wanted to change my rom to stock touchwiz just by restoring but it didnt as after installing almost all apps it said failed /data.
Now after that i tried to install moon rom but it didnt flash properly and in middle of flashing i went into cwm mode and by mistake instead of restoring backed up that rom.
Then after i installed hawkish rom and then omega rom v17 and in all roms i cleaned cache and dalvik and did a full wipe but still cant restore hawkish, omega or any other rom except slim bean.
Now iam not sure what is wrong but feel something coz of slim rom?
Any advice for me on how can i get this problem sorted.
Thanks guys for help.

im having issues with google roms as well.
Phone won't charge, sd card got corrupted, one rom just didn't load at all just stayed at the boot logo animation.
I'm trying to download a fresh copy of a previously working rom.
Are you flashing a TW kernel or AOSP kernel after you flash the rom?
There is a Google Edition Rom here that needs a Touchwiz kernel such as the one from ktoonz.
Hopefully that helps.

I figured it out. Twrp was the culprit. Flashed a different recovery and all is well now.
